I had heard this lone may be missing again. I drove by today, and can confirm it was in the area that has now been completely cleared. The hiding spot for GZ has been removed. It is now impossible to return it, and will need new multi questions if it is to be reinstated. Really needs maintenance.

Had the coordinates for some time but took the opportunity today to go out and find the cache. Right where I thought it should be. TFTH.

19-Apr-15
Well this one was a few months in the making, and on my first visit I was sure I had the right coordinates, but a fire had left only remnants of a cache. A week later and the cache was replaced, but as I live over an hour away I had to wait until I was back on the area. Today I was passing by on my return trip from Melbourne - talk about taking the long way here! I found the cache today right where I expected it! Thanks for the fun.

Hi there muddtrax. We found your cache "Sleep Awhile #1" at 11:50:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10818.
[Blue]
We are visiting Toowoomba for a while to see if we can turn most of the green boxes on the map into smiley faces.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

After spending a couple of days in beautiful Toowoomba, we headed for Brisbane with iluvtrekking but weaving through the countryside were we could rather than on the highway. Thanks muddtrax

10-Apr-15
Found with richliink on day eight of our Mega 2015 Stanthorpe adventure.
Today we travelled slowly from Toowoomba to Brisbane, caching along the way. This was not a quck cache but we enjoyed wandering around the area gathering the required information and the cache was right where it should have been, thanks muddtrax for your contribution to our day.

25-Feb-15
With a short notice trip to Helidon today, I loaded the GPS with this one, having gathered the information and worked out a set of final coords... [^]

I noticed the previous log and the obvious lack of a container... Hmm, that's not good. With that info on hand, I emailed the CO and armed myself with a replacement cache, so I could help out while in the area... [^]

On arrival at GZ, the evidence of fire was obvious. I made my way to GZ, identified the hiding spot, and dropped the replacement container in place. A little camo to keep it safe (from muggles, not fire), all was good so I headed off.

All good to go again... Big Grin

Cheers muddtrax.

I solved this one from the comfort of my home, and upon arrival became immediately concerned by the 'burnt' condition of the area. Sure enough it looks like the cache has been burnt beyond recognition. All I could find was a very burnt caribiner (see pic)
I hope the owner can get out here soon!.

Captain Terror and I had jumped in the subaru and were heading west for the weekend and this was the first cache for the day. It was a hot day and after wandering around and answering the questions I had some good looking coordinates.

With the Captain not giving anything away I made my way over towards GZ. I started searching and before long I saw a likely spot which agreed with the gps. I headed over and quickly found the container. I signed my name and replaced the cache as found before heading back to the car. Thanks for the cache muddtrax.

This is so overgrown, please check it. Shame we were given a great puzzle, lovely cemetery to visit and a CO who doesn't look after cache. Won't be back to many others to do.

A lot of fun with this one. Great walking around the cemetery with the history. Cemetery caches are my favourite! Tftc

12-Oct-13
Found with angloj. We decided to divide and conquer on this challenge and we soon had the desired coords. Although when we found the cache that weren't at the numbers we added up Smile two heads were definitely better than one

I love these little old grave yards. They can be such interesting, often sad places. There were 7-8 men having a natter over several graves - not sure if they were caretakers or just 'having a chat'
Mind you, one fellow did ask if we wanted a hand to find someone Wink.
After finding all the info needed, Mr LLJ did all the maths stuff that he does so well and he was off to sign the log. It is very dry in the part of the country at the moment. TFTC

05-Oct-13
Did the walk around with Mrs Lat&Long looking and reading. Lots of family groups so had to be careful who we were visiting. Eventually ran out of graves with one number still to find. Started the calculations anyway and came up with a plausible result that turned out to be an accurate result [^]. Nice of the bulldozer driver to clear a path to GZ. I wonder if s/he is a geocacher Razz.

16-Aug-13
Spent quite a while wandering around here gathering the answers. Had the place to ourselves so there was no hurry. After a few calculations the coordinates were plugged into the Garmin and it was off to GZ. Discovered that some heavy machinery had ripped through here and that the cache had only just been missed, lucky indeed. At least it makes access easier. TFTC muddtrax Big Grin

16-Aug-13
Nice quiet little spot with a good veiw as well. Wondered up and down reading the various stories while gathering the required information. Soon had the the co-ords and followed the GPS down to the GZ. Located the cache in its hiding spot which has just been missed by some heavy machinary working in the area. An interesting little multi. TFTC

29-Jul-13
Took a while to gather the info and after we had made the calculations and as we approached GZ we wondered if it would be still there as heavy machinery had been here. However it was ok. Great multi. Took TB

Took our time in wandering around and seeking the answers. Took a seat in the shelter to recalculate the new co-ords, and soon off to find the cache. Once the GPS settled, we had the nicely tucked away cache in hand. Signed the log, dropped off a geo-coin, and were on our way again. TFTC.

Took a little while to find all the answers but then again I wasn't in a rush. Such an interesting history. Calculated the final coordinates and set off towards GZ. Found a way around the lantana until the last little bit where it couldn't be avoided. Found cache tucked away nicely and dry.
Thanks heaps for bringing us here muddtrax. Smile

On the road with IolantheK bound for Toowoomba and on the way we decided to pick up a cache or two [^]
IolantheK had done the hard yards solving this puzzle, but getting to the actual cache was a bit like working your way through the LANTANA MAZE Razz
Cache is dry and in good condition.

Heading to Toowoomba with T-Tech for an Event tomorrow, and picked up a few smilies along the way Big Grin I'd actually solved this one online a couple of months ago and kept the details for the next trip out here. Even though it was getting late in the day, we pulled up at the parking area and headed to GZ. A short scrubby walk, then after a bit of a search we had the cache in hand. TFTC, muddtrax, and for the research, which kept the brain ticking over for quite a while [^]

13-Apr-13
Heading for Toowoomba for Geo meeting on Sunday so decided to make the highway full of smiles. Weather not too flash but getting better as we head west. Love cemeteries, hate multis! The cemetery won. Gradually found all the answers and learnt so much about local history. A bit overgrown around GZ but cache found OK.

We were under attract...
Left and right up and down with no where to turn so we got in and signed the log as quickly as possible

Sleep Awhile #1
121311KDEC12 (Google DTG for details)
29km from Home
Our 3 Dozen (12/12/12) run.
Took a bit of time to gather all the required info (although a lot less than we initially thought it was going to be) and solve the final co-ords. The biggest challenge was learning how to add a set of co-ords to a phone program and then working out how tp get the phone to navigate to it.
Once we had that sorted we charged off, only to have the GPS play up and start sending us in ever increasing circles. Eventually got down to 15 metres but by this time I was on the other side of a particular nasty barbed wire fence. I called Mrs RF over (she was on the other side) and said I think it is here (It wasn’t).
I then found somewhere to get back over the fence and as I was wandering in I hear a “GOT IT” come from the scrub, not a bad effort on Mrs RF’s behalf as I have the only GPSr loaded with the final location.
Took nothing but memories and left nothing but our tag and footprints.

Hide, log and container are in good nick,
Thanks for the cache muddtrax.

TFTC had to work for this one! Time for ice cream it is 34 degrees out there. Our favorite so far!

03-Oct-12
Great multi. Make sure you set aside a while to do it!

03-Oct-12
We stopped by to attempt this cache as the sun was setting, we had to be quick to avoid be caught at a cemetery after dark. We could not find Annette Kettle, we ended up with a set of numbers anyway and were able to claim the find. This cache was well worth the effort. (we didn't see the trackable coin) Cheers

09-Sep-12
Found with Bedmaker.
It took us a little longer than expected to gather all the required info because we must have missed a couple on the first go.
Cache was found no worries.

09-Sep-12
Found with TassieGirl13 on our way home from a weekend cache trip to Toowoomba and surrounds.
This one took us a while to complete but worth it in the end.

We must have missed a couple of names on our first pass but we eventually tracked them down after a second look.

The nearby hut made a good place to do the calculations for GZ.

With some new co-ords in the GPS we made our way to GZ and found the cache easy.
An interesting cemetery with some graves that do date back a while further than I was expecting.
TFTC.

Out on the bicycle today to grab a few caches. Big Grin
This one was the furtherest from home so I started here.
I almost managed to get all the answers on the first pass, missed two. Razz But got them on the second pass. Smile
A great little multi in a country cementry. Thanks for the cache.
I also left a little TB.

05-Aug-12
So after my DNF here, I was keen to get Fangsoki to stop and let me have another crack at this one today. I had co-ords saved and he adjusted them for me, being some metres out. We parked in the familiar spot and with a torch, set off for the final cache. A bit of a bash, but finally arrived at a spot.. but no cache. Past logs read and a slight reposition, and sure enough, the cache! Extracted with a little effort from the grey matter and added my name to the log. Glad to have this one ticked off. TFTC muddtrax Smile

Visited with Captain Terror today - dipping the trackable car Smile

04-Aug-12
Out caching with a muggle friend. What a beautiful quiet little cemetery. Taking a row each the two of us walked up and down and thankfully had the clues collected with no backtracking. Punched in the numbers and before long had the cache in hand.

Added "M.Y. muggle friend" to the log in case decides to join up Smile

Loved this such a neat and tidy cementry had so much fun doing this and it was nice to meet the people that made this land what it is. TFTC

01-Jul-12
Interesting to see the families that have made this area their final resting place together. Enjoyed finding all the answers to the multi and found the cache in good condition. Thanks muddtrax

Cracked it!
Found Patricia and worked out the answer

30-May-12
Couldn't find the answer to Q5!
Will have another crack later on

19-May-12
Did some research prior to our visit for Air and Land Show is there anything that is not on Google? Enjoyed our visit and stayed overnight in our camper did not think residents would mind. Did test run to look for clues you need good hour plus to find all the answers. Found cache no problem. TFTC.

12-Feb-12
Found it and when we came back out from the area, put a few wild flower on someones grave we didn't knows to say thanks

14-Jan-12
Out and about with Gaz'n'Kab today and we decided to give this one a crack. I had the feeling I'd answered these questions before, and as I sit here logging it, I note the finals I had googled some time earlier are saved nicely to the cache page, shame I forgot to upload them to the GPS. All the same we spent a good hour wandering around after Duncans and Trosts checking out some very cool headstones along the way. We had all the numbers we needed so did the math and set off. Unfortunately our numbers had us in all sorts of unlikely spots, even upon rechecking. Was annoying after a lot of hard work to get the numbers. Oh well, will recheck all at home and hopefully get it another day Smile

14-Jan-12
We arrived at GZ today, and did the usual walk up all of the rooms to find the answers. After a long walk and some backtracking to find one we missed, we soon had all of the answers Big Grin We did the maths and plugged in the finals, however they were just not right... We searched everywhere all around for about an hour and just couldn't spot it. We decided to recheck our numbers, but sadly it appears we ahd the correct answers Sad Not sure what went wrong, but we will be backa gain to grab this one Big Grin

Probably didn't choose the best part of the day to attempt this. We were cooked through by the time we finished gathering up all the clues.
After being confronted by head high grass we sent Mr DisSister in to make the find.
Glad we made the time to stop and do this one.

01-Jan-12
Our first by muddtrax. We certainly did do a wander around this cemetery.
As another cacher said, there are a lot of the same families resting here.
Did the questions and found new co-ords. Set off on the hunt and after a few
spider necklaces Mr. Squirell had the cache. Took it to the car to log as I was not going back in 'there'.
Took - Nikki & Hamish TB
Left - Doll in plastic bag
SL TFTC muddtrax (have followed him around a bit too)

28-Dec-11
I'm glad there were two of us as we divided the workload which made this a bit quicker. Once we had the information we headed to GZ where I let La Kedi go first through the long grass. Spiders I can handle but snakes I leave to her. All was well though and we found the cache safe and well. But, oops, we forgot the Aerogard!! TFTC

28-Dec-11
We had a very interesting walk round the old cemetery, and it was easy to follow the histories of local families, even recognising some names I went school with up in Toowoomba. Great views from cemetery, too, though nobody around to appreciate them. I was happy that we were following George Montague to the cache itself, though, as it was a bit too overgrown for my taste. TFTC, muddtrax. =^.^=

28-Dec-11
With the help of Mrs George, we wandered up and down the rows until we had found the required information. Then it was only find the cache. Eventually it was uncovered. Liberated 2 TBs, but no swaps today. TFTC.

08-Dec-11
Found by GeoHubby, whilst I was still reading Gravestones getting the required Co-ordinates.
He had no equipment whatsoever, except for the clue and he says "The bloodhound in me!" FIGJAM!!
Now I have to live with the swollen ego and the head that doesn't fit the car anymore!!! LOL
TFTC Smile

07-Dec-11
Well I certainly earned the difficulty of "3" on this one. Thankfully I had my raincoat to ward off the miserable day.

I walked around the cemetery collecting clues. Of course I missed one somewhere - but I managed to locate it after a hunt of the area I thought it might be in. I did my sums and came up with some good-looking numbers.

I pottered toward GZ. Don't think I would have jagged finding GZ without doing the cache properly Razz I found it safe and sound. Extraction was an issue for about 10 seconds.. till I sorted out what was going on. The cache was in good condition. I took a trackable and dropped in another one.

A lovely "out of the way" cemetery. This one ended up being my 3600th find Big Grin TFTC muddtrax Smile

24-Nov-11
Found at 1100. This one took me about an hour to gather the required information as i missed a couple the first time around. When I had calculated GZ I had to plan my walk into GZ as the area was very wet from the current rain. Very tricky hide even given the additional hint. Left trackables TNSL TFTC muddtrax

8.30 to 10 am Thurs. Took TB Jack. Left square number puzzel..See TB TFTC too.

03-Nov-11
We used this cache as a practice session for when we go on a ghost tour with the grandchildren next month. None of the residents appeared to mind us wandering around here in the dark as we gathered the info we needed. It was interesting seeing the family groups and the family names that kept popping up.
