Logs
I have seen someone take a photo of it on this rope and I found the rope but its not there
I dont always read the description of a cache before heading there but luckily I did this time or I wouldve been stuck on the m5!
#7 Early cycle to Riverwood and back. Prior pic made for a quick find. Good one steptoe #1991
Muggles galore! A flock of about 100 corellas flew over as I SL. Nearly drowned out the sound of the traffic. LOL. TFTC
Found as part of an 18km cycle trip along the M5 cycle path.

Haven’t been out caching for a while and with the end of the year approaching wanted to get a find to grab the available souvenir, so we headed for a walk here after Australia won the cricket in the Test. Found relatively quickly thanks to some previous logs
I was in the area and checked the app for any caches nearby. After 1 DNF and a detour of about an hour trying to find a way down the highway on foot, I finally came to the location in time for a beautiful sunset. I searched about 15 minutes before checking the logs for a clue and soon spotted it! TFTC!
Found it, took a little longer than expected but no problem for the geo chiggas

I found this cache 26.04.12 while attempting my 376 day streak.
Out this way caching with Nana nel today and while I was able to see the cache with TOTT, neither Nana nel or myself were able to recover it.
Thought the best thing was to help steptoe out with a replacement. No way this one is going to vanish.
Hope everyone continues to enjoy the beeps you get while recovering this cache placed on the 06.09.2011.

Searched with Wazza9 today, with no luck retrieving the container, he replaced the cache. I signed the log thanks to Steptoe.
Spotted the cache with a TOTT needed another TOTT, the second one I had was configured wrong to get the cache out of it's current position, about 20 cm in the rail
Will be back better prepared

This geocacher reported there is a problem with this cache and its missing came here with magnetic tool retriever failed to retrieve from its hole
Like the others, I’ve definitely found where the cache is but it’s too far in for retrieval. Fantastic idea for a cache though!
Found it but it’s stuck because someone was being an idiot so my friend and I can’t get it out.
Pretty sure I found it, but whoever placed it last put it so far in, my friend and I tried to use a spoon to get it out and we are pretty sure it’s stuck inside here. Sorry for the spoiler. But I can’t even get it on picture anymore cause of how far in it is.
It’s stuck inside one of the poles and my friend and I could not get it out at all. It’s too far in.
Been here before but didn't log it. Today parked nearby and as approaching saw a couple leaving the spot walked passed them but then a father and daughter on push bikes so kept on walking after they went passed turned around and came back. In the second place I stuck my hand felt it with my finger tips couldn't get so now a TOTT. Went passed the girls asked if the found they said it was their first and they hadn't so said did they want to find it. So after finding a couple of TOTTs to choose from we went back and after a couple of goes soon hand the cache in hand
With cache in hand we signed the log. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache steptoe. We replaced it not so far in for the next finder
The following TBs visited for the distance - Hawkesbury Tiger, 2011- 2019 NSW geocoins, Area 51 Tag, Cache In Trash Out Geocoin, Cache In Trash Out Tag, CITO Micro Geocoin, dirty Black Juke, Four Elements Geocoin, Mary Hyde's compass, Optical Illusion Geocoin, Spindoc Bob Memorial Geocoin, Trackable Building Brick, Wales Flag, Wheel of Caching Geocoin

Spent a few minutes looking with no luck. There are only so many places for it to be so definitely will come back.
Needed a bit of courage to get it because it was dark and it felt a little furry! But a nice little spot and happy to have found it!
I don’t know if it’s been moved, but the chest height and up high comments were misleading. Managed to find it though thanks!
I was out this way on my way to netball and jumped off the M5 nearby so thought it would be a great opportunity to stop in and grab this one. Parking on the side street and walking up, I was grateful I had the bridge to myself so I could search without worrying but thanks to some previous logs, I knew GZ was quite accurate and had an idea of what height to search. Luckily there weren't many places to search and a systematic search quickly revealed the cache. Thanks for placing this here! I am very pleased to say its the first bridge cache that I haven't let my fear of heights bother me!
Took a few minutes to find. Hints and that one long comment below really helped.
Wow that one took longer than expected! Had the read the comments here for clues, some more helpful than others. Nice hide, plenty of cars honking as you go
#4795:
This is exactly the hide I was looking for in the exact place I was looking... And yet I still managed to miss it.
The coordinates are spot on, so I went back to the first place I looked, and managed to spot it this time. I found a cache exactly like this in Berowra, so knew what to expect. It is, however, rather tricky if you've never found one in a location like this.
All I can say to help other cachers is... "Chest height". TFTC.

This is my 318th Found Date filled in on my calendar (Loop 2).
4th cache found in New South Wales City of Canterbury-Bankstown.

2 out of 2 in this series today. Bridge caches were some of my first finds so had a good idea where it was. Bit hard to extract but got it! TFTC
Came here from SPR 2 still without my pen and not one in the Cache. So am doing the Online thing again . This was a fun different sort of location. Really liked it . Cheers !
We forgot our pen so couldn’t sign the log. We were about to give up but read the comments, particularly look high not low and the sunrise hint - these were both very helpful.
This was our first geocache! Great school holiday activity!

Quick, easy find. Even at night. Nice cycle path for the kids with a park nearby too!
What an experience. Cars zooming by underneath. Horns tooting. Cache found in a place I already had a thorough look. TFTC.
Accurate coords. Cache in good condition, log is full but managed to squeeze in my signature. Tftc!
We relaised that #1 had too many DNF's to be worth a try, we tried #2, but couldn't do any search as the area was occupied by curious mugglers. Off we went to #3 where we soon relisaed where we should serach and about what we would find - and so we did
Found and signed while the river raged and frothed below.
I walked passed 2 other caches on the way to this one due to close by muggles. Time to walk back and hope they’ve moved on.
Thanks.

We targeted Riverwood for a nice geocaching walk on a shiny Saturday. Not a muggle in sight around GZ however there might have been a few geocachers driving by. We had at least six cars beep their horns as they drove by - geocachers, friendly people saying hi, suspicious people wondering what we were up to? SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
log not in good condition. original log is aged. new log is in 4 pieces and running out of space. recommend replacing with waterproof paper, for paper strength not water issues.
cashe in good condition. don't need to search low

steptoe I found your cache Salt Pan Reserve 3 on 30/3/18, 2:07 pm. This is my find 1946 and find # 2 today. Found in the second place I looked. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
I’m sad I did not find it. I thought I was looking in the most obvious place for this, but not my luck today
Tftc - visiting a friend we decided to hit a few caches. Friend was tentative about caching but I was determined to get him into it. After this one at heights I wasn’t sure if he would want to continue?
Took another diversion on my way to work today, this time going via Narwee and Riverwood, to grab some more of the "Just Keep Walking" series of caches and to also have a look around Salt Pan Reserve. This was the 7th of 7 finds for the morning.
After finding "Salt Pan Reserve 2" this was the next one I came to. Checked in quite a few spots before eventually locating the hide and having CIH. I actually missed it on my first pass, so it took much longer than it should have, but I got there in the end. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's a good view of the Motorway from up there.
And that's all the caching I have time for today, so now it's off to the airport for my afternoon shift. Thanks Steptoe for this cache, and for today's "cache tour" of Salt Pan Reserve.

This took ages, and I was certain someone would call the police for my suspicious behaviour. I stuck my fingers in every orifice on the "sunny" side. I decided to stick the phone up there like a periscope...and there it was! Such a silly geocacher. TFTC
Attending the Afternoon Tea by the Creek for IGD today provided an ideal opportunity for frazeydaze and oldmorty to grab some caches before the event. Well this one was after the event and once on the bridge the search was on in earnest. After a few minutes frazeydaze had the CIH and after log signing we watched the speeding cars below, one driver even giving us a wave, incredible. TFTC steptoe.
Oldmorty and I thought we'd find a few caches this morning before meeting fellow geocachers at an event to celebrate International Geocaching Day. This was the last cache of the Salt Pan Reserve. After a lovely afternoon tea, oldmorty and I headed off along the pathway leading to a foot bridge over the M5. What a weird feeling, standing on the bridge with cars speeding along below. We made a thorough search at GZ and then I remembered the hint 'sunrise' and soon had CIH. TFTC steptoe
Good clue. Crocosaurus couldn't retrieve it but I used my monkey fingers to get it. Dizzying experience for some, if you focus on the traffic. Fun cache.Tftc
