We are on a geo-caching road trip for 3 weeks to grab the oldest caches in 8 states and provinces. Our trip started in Port Alberni BC Canada and by the time it is over we will have traveled 8,000 kilometeres or 5,000 miles. This is day 9 and what a perfect day we had. Our goal today was to head for South Dakota and we got as far as Gillette and the scenery along the way was great. I want to thank all of the CO's for placing the caches and showing me this country side. SL TFHT

Last full day in Wyoming before we fly back to LA, started our day caching around Sheridan before driving back to Casper with a few caching stops
Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax (me). Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Visiting from Australia and found with Albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure...
After a night in Sheridan and dinner a cool little place in town, we were up early on the road, spending a couple of hours in town ticking of what caches we could.
No problems with snakes so it was a good quick find. Always like a TB cache...never know what you'll find.
Thanks for this one and for adding to the fun of our trip. Greetings from Australia.....

On a bit of a road trip with caching involved. Decided to take a look at TB related areas regardless if they had trackables or not. Found this one tucked in nicely and in great shape. Always a classic. Felt like this one needed a special bit of swag and left a BIG OL dino to help keep it company. Really appreciate when CO's go out of their way to place nice hides like this. finally got a nice day off and spent it with Jack, we headed to explore Midwest and the caches up there. The 2nd stop on the journey was here, we picked up the Geogia TB and left the Momma Tech Turtle TB in its place. Great hide , TSLS, SL TFTC . J&S - cache on..
Heading to Casper for the events. Picking up a few along the way. TFTC-SL
I set out to do a solo road trip covering 2 countries and 9 states, targeting over 500 caches. The planning and cache selection phase took almost two weeks. There was lots of nice caches along the route, but I decided to give this one a try based upon the cache description, it looked fun, and helped meet a challenge requirement. I enjoyed the hunt for the cache and the scenery at the GZ. Thanks to the CO for the fun hunt and nice cache, TFTC!
