Crazy spot to drive up. Small driveway about 200m up that you can reverse into. Cache lid broken and logbook is super packed
This was a stop (rather than park) and grab. No other vehicle encountered during the drive, so had no issues passing through.
Had a nice walk up to this cache from the markets. The hills really get the heart pumping. Thanks for the cache, good to get another pretty old one.
Willis was the taller, Arnold was shorter and played by Gary Coleman. But anyway the cache is at ground level now (happy to move it higher if PTH wishes). Anyway this keeps our streak going another day thanks.
Out for a drive, we stopped for this cache. Unsure who Willis was, or how tall he might be didn’t help, but I had no trouble finding the cache. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy.
Found during an early morning circuit around the backroads of St Andrews while staying nearby. Thanks for the cache Paul_the_Hippy!
The road to this cache has certainly been a victim of the recent heavy rains - erosion channels everywhere. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in reasonably good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Pulled up next to the cache, and used Gertie to help clamber up the embankment to gz.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Paul_the_Hippy

The market was packed up for a Saturday, so entered from St Andrews and made this a quick park and cache. Tftc
It took a bit to find coz its never 100% accurate and dont worry i wont leave a spoilers in this "Log"
Easy cache. Zeroed in on it in no time. Did the walk for this one for some nice exercise. Left some goodies.
Found with FUF009 on our hunt for 12 types today.
It was a long day beginning at 5am and ending at 8.30pm and ranging all over the city.
This was on the way to our next type. Tftc

Found it after a nice lunch at smiths gully store. Car struggled to get up the hill.
Find #4804. Found @ 16:09 with The Good Lady Wife
With the day off for the public holiday and a much cooler day that the previous few, TGLW wanted to get out of the house. I suggested venturing to St Andrews to grab an oldie cache. We grabbed a couple of extras in the area as we did.
The main event was Sparkky's first, but after we'd collected the information at WP1 we were passing right past this cache, so stopped to try our luck. On approach in the car, I suggested where it would be and TLGW stopped exactly where I guessed to let me out while she moved a little further on (just in case any other traffic came past).
The cache was exactly where I suspected, I found, signed, replaced and was back to the car in record time. I opened the car door and TGLW asked me if I forgot something, "nope, already done". She was very surprised and we moved on.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Paul_the_Hippy

Went for a walk along the Smith's Gully track to (unsuccessfully) look for the Sparky's first cache. Decided to come back around Black Cameron Road and pick up this one. After walking up a VERY steep hill glad it was an easy find.
Out for the day enjoying the edge of our 25km lockdown zone. Got on the beers at the pub across the road and decided to explore this track as we do. Opened the app just as we "drove over" the cache. Did a u turn and picked it up on way back. I exclamed to hubby this track reminds me of the one we drove down to get to the clothing optional beach we were at this time last year in NSW. Had a chuckle when I saw the owner and knew you would appreciate the thought
I found this hidden gem a while ago and haven't gotten around to logging it. I think I might have approached the cache from the wrong direction as it was a real effort to drive up the road towards GZ. It was easier going out the other way. TFTC.
Catching up with logging -as looking back through photos on my phone I realised I hadn't logged so many . TFTC Paul_the_Hippy and for bringing me here.
Whilst on our way to the start of the walkin to the Multi cache, Sparkky's First we came across this one so it was duly found and the log signed and then down the road to find the entry point into the multi Sparkky's First. To Paul the Hippy TFTC again from inspectorrexteam.
Found on 10 April 2019 at 2:56:31 pm. Find #2727. Great little afternoon drive with the ratbag and RoxyP... went further exploring to find a Burnt out car in a shed close by....Thanks for the adventure.
Driving around this area is a first for us. Looking forward to more times in this area.
Thanks Paul_the_Hippy for placing this for us to find.

In the area this weekend to help out at our kids' Cubs/Scouts camp at nearby Kinglake, my partner and I had a few hours free for a side trip to St Andrews to visit the always-excellent and laid-back Saturday market.
Before heading back to camp we decided to do the return walk along the Smiths Gully to St Andrews trail (an interesting signposted 1.5 hr walk which is curiously cache-free, if any locals should be so inclined), before picking a driving route back to camp that would take us past this cache.
Parked about 60m beyond GZ then walked back to make a quick find in the obvious place, which was fortunate as my phone was persistently pointing to a spot 10m away on the opposite side of the road.
Signed the log, visited a trackable. Thanks for the cache, Paul_the_Hippy, and for showing us the Willis Nature Park.

A nice little drive by; which is just as well as our legs are starting to feel it after participating in Race 2 of this year's Trail Running Series.

While enjoying caching today with DAB, we were fortunate to pick up some solved puzzles, multi's and traditionals, highlighting the St Andrews spectacular bushland.
We were lucky to have a burst of late summer weather making for great conditions for a hike or 2 as well as completing a nearby series.
Lucky the market wasn't on today making this an easy drive by.
Thanks Paul_the_Hippy for highlighting the Willis Nature Park.

After completing a nearby series, we continued on finding hides in this beautiful area. With a few solved puzzles to collect, we also grabbed a collection of multis and trads. Thanks to all of the CO's for your efforts in placing these caches. Such a picturesque area to be caching, a very enjoyable day and night inddeed. TFTC Paul the Hippy
A day of geocaching with wozzle68 today saw us complete the nearby geoart then hunt out some other nearby caches. A quick find here - onto the next one! Many thanks for the cache.
Found with GemmaSistema while in the area looking for an old multi. Thanks for the hide.
Interesting little hidden area. Got this on the way back from the planetary pursuit series. Thanks.
Wednesday last week i recieved a message from TrailStevo suggesting we solve the Space Endeavour puzzles and head out and find them this week. I suggested it sounded like a good idea, but then it dawned on my I didn't know where /what they were. A quick look at the map and there it was, where did that come from?! So friday we set to solving them, and tonight we headed out for a leisurely drive and and some quick finds. Probably took around 1hr 30min to find them all and then we continued to find a few other traditioanals on teh way home. A few drives down some more trails, a few short walks and a wander around the grave yard at night. I think we found over forty for the nights. Thanks to GeocachingMelbourne, Gaga66, Paul the Hippy, Dor, Kangadrew72 for all the caches.
I hadn't put this one on the list of caches to do today but BendSinister brought my and Jimbo_80's attention to it and given the CO I thought we might as well add this one into the mix.
Thanks for bringing us here and pointing out that there well may have been a man named Cameron with a little more melatonin than his neighbours. I'm going with the theory he was well liked as opposed to infamous in having a road named after him. It goes without saying that bringing attention to the work of conservation organisations is appreciated.

This was the second cache on our detour from the Space Endeavour series. This was a quick find as BendSinister spotted it and signed the log. It's great that these organisations mentioned are protecting the flora and fauna.
We made our way here along Black Cameron Rd, and I couldn't help but wonder if Black Cameron was an actual person back in the day, nicknamed because of the colour of his skin. Different times. It reminded me of the show Gavin & Stacey, where off-camera characters are referred to - Fat-no-more Pat, Japanese Margaret, No Man Jan and Big Fat Sue

After finding all the parts to the rocket with Gunks, had some time left to find others nearby. Made for a successful night. TFTC.
Out on another track this time, one I’d never traveled on or even realised it was here. The cache was one of my favourite type of locations: in the bush with no threat of being Muggled. Thanks for the cache, Paul.
Thanks again to Paul_the_Hippy for this hide.
Suscoe enjoyed the trip up to GZ.
A quick find.

Between doing some power trails today (Space Pursuit in the morning, Mt Disappointment in the afternoon) I decided to break thinks up with a little trip into Smiths Gully.

A nice drive by cache. Initially I was looking on the wrong side of the road, but using the hint had me looking in the right place. No what I'm talking about Willis. Grabbed the T.B.
Thanks **Paul the Hippy**

Found it! I watched that show when I was little. Geo Monkey also found it hilarious!! When she was younger.
I do, in fact, remember this show and the annoying little kid (Gary Coleman) who you wanted to knuckle so I guess that makes "Paul the Hippy" actually "Paul the Old Hippy". In fact hippy's were before my time (just) so it should be "Paul the Very Old Hippy"! And, I may add, he (Arnold) would actually say: "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?" but then I may just be a tad toooo pedantic and need a good slap!
Of course I found the cache!

As my wife had gone away for a few days, I figured it was a good time to do some caching and bonding with Crusty K9. This is one of the caches we found. tftc.
Glad this was here as it forced us to make a very nice walk even nicer by using this very quiet road. Tftc
Very easy! Found within five minutes! Found with my three awesome cousins and my awesome uncle. TFTC
Good find. Took nothing. Left my heart and a toy car. Loved the Squirrel but lwft him be. Thanks x
Drove past this one twice but we needed to go, to pick up the boys from school. We will be back
A nice easy drive by as we put a few more smileys on the map in this part of the world. It has been great seeing some sights that we would never have seen without chasing your caches. Thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here Paul.
TFTC third find for the day. Out with reluctant husband. Not sure how many more I can do before he wants a coffee
