Pretty sure this cache went with the demolition thanks for the look around beautiful area.
In Wang for a few days R&R and after visiting friends in Yarrawonga I had some time to grab a few smilies on the way back to Wang. The co-ords had me in the middle of nowhere so I read the previous logs and it appears that some work has been done here. Maybe need to check on this one. Thanks anyway tattboy1
Thought about having a hit but realised we had places too be, this would have been a big tree in its day

I had so much fun on our little roadtrip!
Me, boo09, becca85 & GemmaSistema headed to Wangaratta for the night.
Day 1 was huge with 50 finds, lots of which were at night by torchlight- we even got bogged!
Day 2 we got rained out in the end but still had an enjoyable day.
Thanks for some great caches in great company!

As a previous finder mentioned, the Pepercorn tree is no longer but the cache managed to remain unscathed and is still there.
School holidays are upon us which means Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07 as well as Ad + Luke) is formed yet again as we target another area of beautiful country Victoria.
This time we decided on an over night road trip to Wangaratta.
After a huge day yesterday of 50 finds plus another 4 challenge that we don't yet qualify for we headed out again with a target of at least 25.
The day started great then about lunch time the showers started. That's okay, we'll abort to Maccas and hope it clears. Nope, not so much. We continued caching our way home via Glenrowan and Euroa, with the rain becoming increasingly heavier. We got to Seymour, nabbed a tricky one in the rain then headed to another. We were blinded by the rain so heavy at this point and the sky quickly darkening that we had to admit defeat and part ways. Luckily we had surpassed our goal already. We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days adventure in parts of Victoria that I had not previous explored in any aspect. Hope to be back sometime soon- in better weather! TFTC!

School holidays mean that myself and my two kids (ages 5 & 7) go caching with becca85 and her two kids (ages 6 & 8 - or boo09 and neisha07). We normally do a big day out around home (Ballarat way), but we are running out of spots. These holidays we decided to head north and stay a night and cache in and around Wangaratta. A new day dawned and we decided to cache in town this morning exploring the town. This one took longer than it should have but it was soon found and signed - many thanks
Pulling up on my way back in to Wangaratta, the area was unexpectedly deserted for such a fine afternoon. The peppercorn has been cut down, however the stump and various logs are still here, as is the cache container itself. That is a charming looking clubhouse, and a lovely location.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We did enjoy finding this cache hidden under the lovely peppercorn tree. We found a nice area nearby under a lovely big shady tree and had our lunch in the geomobile whilst the autumn leaves drifted gently down about us due to the slight breeze!
TFTC and bringing us here to enjoy this lovely spot for lunch!

Day three of our month long escape from Tassie. Glad this one was a quick find, felt a bit conspicuous. TFTC
Luckily for us we tried this one early on a Sunday morning and there wasn't too many muggles about, I could imagine that at certain times it could be quite busy, we circled around the gz a few times before finding the cache safe and sound, thanks for the cache tattboy1.
Up early to grab the nearby series with Happy pants, before there were to many muggles. Made this detour and after a short search Happy pants made this discovery.
Thanks tattboy1 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there tattboy1. We found your cache "By The Green" at 10:44:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 12362.
[Blue]
Today was "Purple Dreamer" day. We thought that it would be nice to attempt the tribute series for this wonderful person before we leave town. Today we ended up logging 15 and DNF'ing 1 today.
Please excuse our boilerplate logs. When we attempt a series run we find it difficult to prepare individual logs.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The majority of containers and log books were in good shape, but the post-it-note log books are in tatters and need a really big staple to hold them together.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing in the small ones, and a smiley badge wherever we could fit one.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Surprised I managed to get in a find it on a Saturday. No golfers about so a quick in and out. TFTC
Like the last cacher said...there is orange tape across car park entrance, but we kept going to the very end and parked then a quick walk across empty car lots and Shadow 67 and I soon had cache in hand. Log signed and made a few swaps...TFTC tattboy1
Easy find and quick walk with NenaNine.
She logged in for us both and done swaps

There were a few people out and about on the practice green, but all were intent on getting the ball in the hole, rather than worrying about us. A beautiful old clubhouse, I would love to see it in the spring when the trees have their leaves on. Thanks for bringing us here and for the hide.
Quick find. Ducked over to grab this one while in the midst of the purple power path. Tftc.
3 year old Junior plunderer discovered this cache, and he loves the bath crayons we took, leaving a watch in it's place ( mrs. Geo made the watch). TFTC
Quick find on my way out to killawarra. Driven past this so many times but never had the chance to stop before.
A quick detour from the purple path and it was down to the green. Cache was quickly in hand and all was good. Some great looking houses down this way as well....
Thanks for another one.....
Thanks for another one.....
I loved the drive to this cache. I hardly knew that I was at a golf course and not someone's house with a parking area. It was very beautiful. TFTC
Not too many muggles (on or off the course) around and we could park close. We soon spotted the camo and the meters counted down and made a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Suscoe's 18th find of 37 for today.
It was a tale of two halves today, before lunch steady rain, after lunch a bit of sun and wind.
A nice hide, 8 degrees, lots of stopping and starting, lots of fun and lots of rain.
Arrived here and all was quiet.
Cache found quickly.
Shoe got full of water.
Thanks to tattboy1 for showing us this place.

[:(!] Spending the weekend in Albury with my geoson and his geofamily and what better way of spending the day but to do a caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

#410 With our annual leave drawing to an end we are making the most of getting out for a final geocaching onslaught. The PPPP series has been on our list for a while and today we and the 3 geohounds tackled it on foot. We found all 15 caches (collecting odd number caches on the way up and even numbers on the way back) in the series without too much trouble and also walked to By the Green. In total the we walked 13.7kms. We then went on to Yarrawonga area and collected another 14 caches for the day taking our total to 30. Finally got home after 10:30pm! Thanks to tattboy1 for maintaining this wonderful series.
A traditional hide I love them!! Had to wait out the golfers getting into their cars though. SL TFTC
After setting up camp in the caravan park we headed out to do the Purple Power Path.
Most of the caches were quiet easy to find.
This was a bonus cache we found on the way. The golf course looks in great condition, looked like ladies day today
Thanks tattboy1

Pulled up and parked, in the pouring rain. Didn't see the big puddle, so I got a shoe full of water. Found the cache pretty quickly. Signed on the line. Took charm, left crayons. TFTC a nice hole-in-one
First for the day. A bit of a late start but the sun came out and so did we. Took a ice age toy and left a dragon
Reperio at 1715.
I took a little detour off from grabbing the PPPP series, and fortunately for me, the place was deserted. Not a single car or muggle in sight. Parked right next to GZ where the cache was soon in hand. It was great to find some purpledreamer caches today.
Gratias tattboy1.

Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. While we took a break from the bike trail run, we got to see the golf course club house. There were heaps of golfers lined up ready to get going, but no one came past the cache location in the way too long it took us to locate it. It goes to show, double check the obvious spot before looking everywhere else. Thanks.

A slight detour from my [maroon]PPPPPPPPPPPP[/maroon] bike ride this morning on the way back into towne
so good to see the purple haze clear as I laid my eyes on fields of [green]green[/green]
I still had purple dots in front of my eyes though [:o]
That could have been from looking at the sun too much
Somewhere in the shade,
I found me a neatly hidden cache [^]
And no!! It wasn't under the sand bucket that some lazy golfer has left in the tree
TFTC, one not to be sneezed at
PPS I picked up "Mr Bones" traveltag and dropped off the keys to a new AUDI

Nice n green near GZ here. No one around but a few ducks were a bit interested in what I was up to. Great to find another Purpledreamer cache.
Found on our BIG Little Event trip. A nice quick find next to a very nice place. We did this series in honour of Purpledreamer - R.I.P. Took TB in exchange for another. TFTC!
a couple of golfers about in the middle of a warm day but didn't take too long to find and sign. tftc.
This was, cache # 36 of 85 finds for the day in the Company of Trailrunning. Only a couple of cars in the car park, we had no trouble locating this one. My thanks to purpledreamer for the cache.
After a great Christmas at home with the kids, the girlfriend and I headed up to her sister's place in Lima. After a few windy and hot days up there I get a call from my fellow The Demolition Crew team member RebelActs who syas he'll be visiting the area with CrazyNatGirl! We decide to plan a day of caching in the Wangaratta area, and hit the easy drive-by's. I'm so sorry for the generic log, but given I'm over 200 logs behind (no internet or pc for the last few weeks) this is all I can manage. Thanks to all the CO's and their efforts.
A throw away comment on the way back from the two local caching events in Cape Paterson and Wongthaggi about heading off for an overnight caching trip turned into reality and before we knew it we were heading off to Wangaratta for a couple of days. We picked up a number of individual caches on the way up before tackling Purpledreamers Purple Power Path Sunday evening and Chewinprickles’ Spirit of Salts trail between Wangaratta and Whitfield on Monday.
Our last cache on our night caching run in Wangaratta. Quick find. Thanks for the cache.

Mizzjane and I arrived in Wangarrata after traverling from Albury, I had been caching on the way down.
Mizzjane wanted to have a bit of rest so I went to a do a cache or two.
I ended up doing 26 caches & finding 25. (the bulk being in Wangaratta)
This was the 19th of the 25.
I had finshed doing the Purple Power Path series and grab this one on the back into town
I started my drive in the heat of the day , I soon arrived a GZ.
I had a look around and soon located the well concealed cache at 15:43.

Found by Mary & David at 1045. We've never had any interest in golf - not enough spare time after caching! There were a few players out on the course, but they were preoccupied by their game and took no notice of us. We were impressed by the larger houses along Waldara drive, and the magnificent roses everywhere. Our thanks to purpledreamer and tattboy1.

I short detour from the power trail had me finding this cache on what looks like a beautiful golf course. TFTC. Thanks Coruze too for taking care of these caches after recent events.
Pending further guidance from family, this geocache listing has been temporarily disabled by Groundspeak.
A quick stop of the Purple dreamer path to find this cache. Had to use the cars as cover as it seemed like the 19th hole had just closed. Lovely old clubhouse. Cache was easily located, signed and returned. TFTC.
Found on a caching Wangaratta day trip with the Walenators. Attracted a bit of attention as we drove in from some golfers finishing their round. We parked so they couldn't tell we were doing anything apart from admiring the lovely old house they use for their club rooms. TFTC

One of 58 caches for the day along with bogonghazy on a Wangaratta Wizz Around. It was nice to have a diversion away from the purple series and focus on the green. Just as well it was dark, or I would have had trouble coaxing bogonghazy back to the car. Thanks to PD for yet another of your hides in Wang and beyond.
