Initially thought this might have been buried under the huge pile of dirt. But a scramble around the dirt pile was OK and then it was easy going to the cache. TFTC
We slightly overthought this and dropped further than we needed to... On the way out towards the road we spotted a little piglet that seem to have lost his mummy We saw it join some goats further along the road and hopefully it was ok! TFTC!!
A nice quick find here. No noise from the bar today as the tide was out. Wind has dropped off a bit since this morning. Bugs are biting and road is dusty. tftc
We were in Golden Bay with the intention of taking care of some unfinished business, and we were just taking our time this morning as the mission we were in Golden Bay to go on was dependant on the tide being low and that was not going to be until later this afternoon. The mission we were heading for was going to (hopefully) take care of our monthly ftf.
We were really enjoying spending some time looking around and sussing out potential whitebaiting areas. (Not up here though).
The cache was a nice quick find
Thank you for placing the cache, and thank you for the smiley

Coordinates spot on. Cache dry and secure. Beautiful view up here this morning. TFTC
After a dnf at the top of knuckle hill we stopped here for me to make the find.
A quick dart into the bush and I had cache in hand.

Found while heading to the end of the road for a night's camp.
Quick find, because it was in the obvious place and visible from 5 metres away. I replaced some natural camo after signing the log

GPS was jumping around a bit but got there in the end. Beautiful view here today - more than can be said about our trip in here a few days ago during the storm! Spent a few enjoyable days staying at and exploring Te Hapu. tftc and a reason to stop and enjoy the view.
Heading home after an overnight camp at Anatori this was one of our stops along the way. No problem finding the cache as the GPS counted down perfectly.
No noise here today, the tide was in.
Thank you bumandworker.

I remember this spot with less growth interfering with the views. It still is absolutely spectacular of course with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. Holymu was on point to GZ and made the find. Thank you bumandworker
Success on this one after I made the terrain rating harder for myself to start with. A beautiful inlet. Tftc
Heading over to Whanganui Inlet for some walking and kayaking, expecting it to be pretty busy at this time of year but grabbed this cache on the journey in. All in good order
Found with TregearP whilst in the area for some walking and kayaking.
A beautiful spot and well worth stopping for to get the spectacular view from the edge of the road - not visible from the car. Some muggles also had stopped to enjoy the view, but the well placed cache offers plenty of opportunity for search and formalities without drawing attention.
All in good order, took nothing, left nothing, signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache.

Met a bulk fertiliser spreader truck and trailer unit near here. Not a lot of room to pass. Didn't hear the bar but heard the wind.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
It is a noisy bar especially at full tide.Took two searchers to find it but all in good condition. Thanks for the cache B n W
Been a while since I was out this way. made a reasonably quick find here. The Terrain wasn't as bad as I was expecting. TFTC
Having a Collingwood caching weekend.
Time to head north this afternoon.
I've been down this road several times and each time it never ceases to amaze me how much real estate there is over here.
The highlight on this drive today was stopping to watch a couple of wind surfers having a great time.
Nice shallow flat water and plenty of wind. What a treat.

Very quite at GZ today apart from a bit of heavy breathing after riding from Seaford on the MTB, are it will be a nice bit of down hill for a while.Quick find and sign. TFTC
Just home after our Golden Bay camping trip from the Marlborough Sounds. It was not a caching expedition but we did manage one or two . We were travelling with our camping group who, although not cachers, joined in the fun. Our travels brought us to your cache – many thanks, bumandworker, for bringing us to this spot. We’ve had great fun all the way.
A great day out geocaching with my wee lad. A bit of bushwhacking required but relying on GPS got us to the obvious spot. TFTC!
12.30pm. Had noted the reference to wasps in the previous logs. Followed the gps off the roadside into the bush and saw them all swarmming around the bank on the roadside. Walked quickly into the bush endeavouring not to display any fear to the advance guard squadron. Looked for a good 15 minutes at GZ and was beginning to think I may have to risk a sting on the way out without a smilie. But then, in a very likely spot right where the gps said it should be, it was!
I think this was a cache where the contents were damp and I left a new waterproof logsheet. Definitely left a signature pathtag.
Worth a favourite vote from us. The view of the inlet entrance from the road was great.

Didn't even look at this one I'm afraid. The car was just engulfed in very active bees which had a huge nest close to the cache. Thought about it for a bit, but then chickened out!
Definitely a noisy cache! As we parked beside the cache, our car was engulfed in bees. We moved it to the other side of the road, then wandered across cautiously, but decided, somewhat reluctantly, as we are unlikely to return, that we weren't prepared to invade their territory.
No noise today hot carm and sunny, when I came back up to the car their was a guy taking photos and gave me a strange look, thinking the worse I told him I was geocaching which he seem to know about and was relieved I wasn't relieving myself in the bushes, had a bit of a chat
The only sound here was of the wind howling, though at least it was sheltered at GZ.
StreetWalker was searching the wrong level when I spotted the cache. For once, the Oregon was spot on under the trees! TFTC.

#8707. I saw something interesting up a steep bank, but it was a false alarm. While I was pondering where to search next, Troodles found the cache. Another great spot for a cache. TFTC.
Tried to pick this one up on the way out but my GPS couldn't find me! Plus we were running late for breakfast. Stopped briefly on the way back and made a quick find. Lovely bush a shame what some people had left behind. TFTC
Quick find, not very noisey today even when we were kayaking out there earlier TFTC

Searched way too long for such an easy (and as we were there) complete unhidden container (OK, not visible for a "normal" hiker). TFTC
Great hide on a neat hidden track .. Thanks for sharing it with us b&w!

Loved the name... especially because it was on a Dry Rd. Although it was quiet today.
We were watching the time, so a bit concerned how long we would need to search. Sometimes the gods are kind. Mrs S had gone ahead with the GPS and had just said she was concerned about reception... when she looked at something by her side. Told Sobad to not bother going any further.
Thanks. Our last trip to the area had not been great with wrong tides and a slow driver without mirrors! Today we had a lovely day with 3 bum caches amongst the 7 smilies on the long and winding road.

Disgusting how many people have used this for a toilet. Have they no pride in the environment at all???
This one hasn't seen any action for a while! Lovely day and lovely location. Easy find (gorse quickly thins out). Took nothing, left a couple of marbles. TFTC.
TFTC. Another fantastic cache location. The track was obvious as soon as we went a few metres into the bush. Great trees in here and a nice place to have a wee cache hunt.
Glad I did this in the rain. Filthy tourists! We should nuke the site from orbit, it's the only easy to be sure
Cheers Gav

Didn't get to go for it on the first pass, but did the 2nd. Easy flat walk into cache stepping over branches. TFTC
After waiting for muggles to move on - we headed down the track and after dodging someones deposit on the track !!! we soon had the count down on the gps - Stretch0 started looking around and I looked to my side saw something out of place in nature and said here it is lol - love doing that !!!!! thanks for the cache
Arrived at GZ to find a van parked with the occupants to appearing to be eating lunch!. Took a small detour up the turn off to the look out to case the area for a future visit and when we returned GZ was all clear . An easy walk in dodging some deposits on the path and Niteowlnz made a quick spot and find. Stopped for awhile looking out to sea and fully understanding the name of the cache TFTC
Pleasant bit of bush-bashing, assisted by a friendly wren. T-shirt all wet from brushing up against the wet vegetation
The coordinate gods were kind to us today as the GPS zero'd out right at the cache and had the cache in hand seconds later. Such a beautiful area particularly with the Rata in full bloom.
Many thanks

Took a bit of hunting, trees played havoc.

After a busy weekend, seemed like hundreds of 4WD vehicles on this road, it was "a pub with no beer".
Found in a dash on the way home from a weekend camping at Sandhills Creek.

No noise today, almost low tide so no water either! This was a could reason to rest-stop on the trip down to the Anatori with the Kaalavan for a couple of nights. TFTC
Having previously failed to find the mythical cache across the road I had to come and get this one. Nice views over the sea from here. Cache took a wee while to spot but coordinates were pretty well spot on. Shame that some people use the area as a toilet though. TFTC, Biggles.
Found after a few minutes' search and waiting for the GPS to settle down - last one of the day on a drive from Motueka to Mangarakau. Nicely hidden! Signed log, TFTC!
This has to be the quietest bar I've ever been in and no big screen tv for the matches tonight either. Nice roadside park and grab and much more findable than the last one near here. TFTC.
