Sorry folks, the lizard was gone, probably cut up by the prunings........
Not suitable for a rehide so will have to re think this one.

Aw, searched every v of every pittosporum..... and there are quite a few here (but not on other side of track as co-ords suggested) . As it's 4th dnf, perhaps recent heavy pruning disturbed the lizard...?
All the trees have just been cut back heavily. Couldn't spot the cache then a dog kept barking. TuisReturn wanted to keep searching but I pulled the plug.
Was nearly ready to give up on this one then suddenly it was found and all the clues made sense. This in turn helped with the following two in the series. Deserves a favourites I reckon.
The GPS had us on the wrong side of the track too. But with the help of the hint and perseverance we got there in the end; thank you.
Sat on the roadside to eat lunch. Left the kids and Mum at the car to collect the four Awatapu caches.
Each cache container was creative, from the Master of creative cache hides.
This one had a visible bit sticking out, and a stoma. Tried to give it a bit more cover on replacement. TFTC.

Lucky the appendage on the end was visible because the rest was well covered. Cool hide, thankyou
GPS coordinates had me going to the fence side of the walkway, but persistance ment I found the critter. TFTC
Enjoying a walk along part of the Lake Awatapu pathway this morning, finding some very interesting cache containers. Loved this one, thanks.

5/2/12 @ 12.53pm - Had to check first before retrieving, well done mr nosh123 SLTFTC
Did this one in the dark, by torch light - adds to the fun. Big sucker isn't it! TFTC
Great walk around the lagoon on a sunny afternoon with our mini-Dominic-Aidan --- and collected the fun geocache along the way, thank you!
Though we had to bribe the youngest mini-geocacher with some spiders from our stash-bag so he would surrender the cache and we could put it back!!

7601 Thought we spotted the owners… but it turned out to be the well camo’ed cache, nice one, TFTC.
Finally got organised enough to have the GPS with me so called in and got this on way home from work. Surprized to see still only one other cacher been. Well camoed in those leaves and twigs.

Took a detour on the way to the gym. GPS seemed to be having a fit and had to search a bit. Another Geckoh special.
