Found it! Plenty of tree litter around for camo. Beautiful day along the river, saw some muggles frolicking. TFTC!
Easy find in company with Pajaholic and thankfully the nearby trees survived the recent storm. TFTC
Yes, it is a nice day to go for a cache in this beautiful location. It is great to be out and about even though the weather was a bit soggy this morning.
TFTC. Found on a drive home from the upper goldfields. Walk really liked how nice and neat this cash is. In a beautiful place and very few muggles around. Favourite from me
Not that nice a day for a cache but the river walk was spectacular. I was worried that this cache might be underwater as I walked beside the very swollen river. Luckily I found the, sort of, "high and dry" container nicely tucked away with the contents nice and dry. TFTC and the stroll along the river.
What a river it is - great to knock over two from this series today in blissful sunshine. tftc
Took me a couple of circles around but found it
Beautiful winters day out here today, TFTC

Find #5143. Found @ 13:55 with The Good Lady Wife.
Looking for something to do with the better weather today and I decided to combine getting out for a drive with ticking off some sudoku squares and a cache find or two.
This was the second cache for the trip, and we grabbed another 2 squares on the way here.
A beautiful location by the river to visit on this nice day for a cache.
Took nothing, left nothing, noted clue, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache ahomburg.

Have dropped daughter off at diabetes camp and spending the day geocaching. Enjoyed a short walk along the road to GZ and sent muggle sister into sign the log. cache in good order. TFTC.
A couple of iTEEM members and a friend (who has been an associate finder with other cachers in the past) met for a ride on the trail.
The weather was perfect, and we managed to find a few caches too.
A short diversion along the quiet roads brought us to this river bank.
The GPS initially overshot, but we worked our way back to the correct spot.
The air was a little ripe from some kind of animal decomposing nearby, but the cache was certainly not on the nose.
Neatly tucked away and well camoed.

Have been doing this series for ever. No idea what I've done with previous clues though! Here for a week so went for a midday walk along the river with a muggle friend. Just lovely. Lots of ants currently at GZ...
Found on a long walk with the oldest. Left a travel bug and took one. Luckily didn’t see a snake
First cache of the day found quickly with grumps and jay cat! Pretty spot by the river, thank you for he cache
Found it! Didn't want to sign it though, had a lot of ants crawling around it and looked like a perfect snake home
Was off to an early start today to snaffle my first FTF not too far away. Celebrated with a delicious brekky at one of my favourite cafes and decided it was too glorious a day to just go home so stopped here for a quick look around. Quick find and not too muddy- thanks to previous logs - otherwise I might have disappeared after all the rain we've had Lovely spot, nice to come back with a picnic in drier weather
We are staying in Warburton for the weekend and today is my birthday (JMelb) so after a nice sleep in, breakfast with hot milk (it was only 2 degrees when we woke up) and pressies, we rugged up and headed off to so some caching before the family was coming up for the arvo. This was the second cache for the day and gee was I glad that I was wearing my good hiking shoes!! lol So we made the mistake of following the GPS to GZ directly from thr car park ... squelch, squelch, agghhhhh that one was deeper .... oh oh, so was that one!!!! But hey my soocks are still dry, these shows are GOOD!! It really was quite fun haha .... Once we figure out where GZ acrually was, we realised we could have accessed from the road directly above !!! Oh well it made for a great photo and FB posts lol
Oh and the funniest thing ......... we forgot to collect the clue!!!

Lucky to find this today.
In an area i have been to many times before.
Cache was found beneath a bucket load of leaf litter.
Ant ants. Ha.
Contents perfectly fine.

I disagree with this cache total statement. It is not a nice day for a cache. It is way too cold, way too wet, but I guess I did, kind of, enjoy myself.
I found this geocache on this cold wet morning at 10 am. Really starting to come down now too. Of course it was only when I was back in the nice walm car when I realised I forgot to get the clue, and had to find it again in the rain.
Thanks for the cache ahomburg

Awesome little spot, but hard to get too and would definitely not recommend to find in summer because of snakes.
My second find for a new member, my phone nav was more accurate than I thought . I think I am getting the geocache bug! Thanks from Vic
We found this cache today at 6:55pm on our Emerald to Donna Buang Bounty Hunt. We now have enough of this series to attempt the final when the park is open again. Thanks from D & HA B-A
One of the many challenges I am doing concurrently requires 100 large caches. They are not that common so I need to get what I can. This meant a trip to collect clues from othe caches to help on a large cache. With some clear time I made the drive out. This was a straight forward find with the sun setting and a nice pink sky. Thanks to ahomburg for the placement and fun.
Spending a few days in this general area so what better way to begin the day than with a few caches. With the weather so hot it was a really early start to avoid the heat My parents lived very close to this cache many decades ago but I’ve not revisited since they moved. Thanks for the memories TFTC ahomburg
Geosister found first cache. Thankfully no snakes yet. Try downstream side of tree.
Returned this morning for the clue. Heaven only knows what the three muggles walking along the road thought I'd been doing behind the tree as I emerged.
It was such a nice day this afternoon that I decided to head into town to try for this cache that's been lurking on my back burner for way too long.
I parked at the corner of Lincoln rd and walked in to avoid the cranky neighbour. I have never been to this end of the road before, it's very pretty here.
The hint was nice and clear, and as a previous poster said, the local ant community didn't like me very much either. I found a nice long stick to poke around with and soon had the well-hidden cache in hand. It's in very good condition. I totally forgot to collect the clue I'll have to brave that neighbour and the ant colony one more time.
TNLN, TFTC

After attending the gathering component of the Yarra Expedition #10, we then headed off on our bikes to complete the second part to this event and find a few caches along the way.
After the last cache I split off from the group momentarily so that I could find this one before rejoining the group at Ghost train which I had already found.
I made my way here as quick as I could but the section between the road and GZ is very wet and boggy if you take the wrong line, which I did but I got there without sinking too much.
The search began but it was only short, the log was signed and I was back on my way to meet up with the group once again.
**Thanks to ahomburg for placing this cache.**

TFTC I just up the hill and it took me 3 years to come and search for this one!!
The kids love this game of hide and seek and are sometimes better than the adults at finding! Little hands poke into hard to find places.
I was in this area today providing support to a team of cachers on the Oxfam Trailwalker event. When ahomburg and I had seen our team off from the last checkpoint at Millgrove Primary School we decided to grab a few caches around Warburton before heading to the finish to cheer them in. As this was his cache it was up to me to find whilst he tagged along for a maintenance check. Fortunately good coordinates and a strong hint made it a quick find. My second of five for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache ahomburg. I'm glad I didn't park at the first spot you suggested!
The local ants nest did not really agree with our visit to this cache. luckily we found it quick. Thanks for hiding!
Nice to be back in Warburton, I keep meaning to ride the Warburton Trail. I carefully made my way to this beauty and the cache was a quick find. Got back in the car - no I hadn't noted the clue again...so found it again! Thank you
TFTC. Nice easy cache and not to many eyes looking. Beautiful cache day compared to the last few days.
A quick find with parking close by.
A lovely early morning before our fedaetation day walk based at Warburton today, hosted by the Melbourne Bushies.

Lovely sunny winter's day and a chance to pick up two refurbished caches.
It took a while to find this one and was glad when my prodding returned a plastic sound. Thanks

This is my first geocache in a while. Decided to get back into it so this one was close to home and I could do it on my morning walk.

Heaven on a stick!
That's the best way to describe conditions today. A rare sunny winter's day with hardly a breath of wind.
Was happy to tough out the weather and perform some 'maintenance' on this one on behalf of the CO. It meant I got to stroll around the area which lead me to really appreciate the location.
Thanks ahomburg.
All is well with the cache.

Unfortunately I am injured and currently unable to get out as much as I would like. I will try to get to this one by the end of the month.
So ... we have a couple of conundrums:
(1) Can you actually log a find on a cache which is disabled?
(2) Can we claim the Unloved Days on this cache, given the previous logger didn't really "find" it - they tagged along with the CO as he placed a new box.
But we digress. Geo-oldman and Geo-youngman whizzed up from the burbs to Warburton to grab clues toward the final of this great series. We'd had success up a mountain and (barely) alongside a creek, so we were hopeful that this nearly-reactivated cache would also yield up its clue to us.
We were a little unsure as to which of the competing sets of coordinates were true, so (naturally) we headed to the wrong spot first. Dad was convinced that we just needed to look a little harder, but geoboy knew best and stomped back to the car.
So off to the second set of coordinates. GPS pointed straight towards ... surely not, it couldn't be, it is!!!! The cache!!!
TFTC AHomburg. We're now off home to plan our next excursion and keep on getting clues for the final.
(and I presume the answers to my questions at the top are "yep, log away" and "nup, a log is a log is a log so you can't count the days". Ahh well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad)

A bit of a maintenance run and tour of Wharburton and the surrounding areas with ahomburg today. Fantastic weather and a number of wildly different placed (in terms of terrain) caches greeted us. I'll be back in this area in the near future, the picture postcard scenery along with some challenging caches demands it!
As with Park 2, this was the ostensible reason for this run as the cache had racked up a number of DNFs from some pretty experienced finders. We searched around and found nothing. So ahomburg went ahead and replaced the cache. However it is in a new spot some distance from the old hide and awaiting approval (at the time of this log's posting) of the new coords by Bunjil.

We had a good long look around for this one, but no luck here today. We couldn't find anything to match the clue anywhere near gz. Thanks for the cache.
