Another cache found while accompanying my daughter for an athletics location. A beautiful little path with lots of spring wildflowers. I managed to roll my ankle and throw my phone off the trail, but apart from that, we enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks, ahomburg.
Out and about on a sunny Sunday morning, walking and caching. There's a great Anzac biscuit recipe as swag in this cache - turns out it's the same one I make. I've left it for the next finder. Delicious.
Seville, 17,000 km from home and luckily there were also geocaches here. Nice to see that the geocache family is doing its work here. Thank you very much for laying this cache. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Amazing area, the two of us looked over this so many times before finally finding it
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to ahomburg for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

A nice find in a pretty area. A bit hard to get coords down but got there in the end. Thanks ahomburg
I needed to visit the reli's that live very close to here so took the opportunity to grab this cache to keep the streak going. Parked down the bottom near the creek and took the stroll up to GZ. Was a lovely stroll but rather slippery as the water is still seeping and the clay on the track was interesting to walk on. Thanks for this cache and the walk.
After being unable to find another nearby cache, ai took a gander at the next closest one.
With this one set into my phone, I made the trip and soon had it in hand.
Another beautifully maintained cache, and apparently this makes the 200th find for this particular one !

Found with no trouble but the cache is in a spot of bother with a cracked lid and a soggy logbook. tftc
Lid broken and full of water

With the Muster by the Mountain event scheduled for noon, I ensured that I arrived early at the car park to collect as many of the caches as possible. I've been planned on getting these Dirtbags caches in this area for a long time and this was a perfect day to do it. Left the car park at 9 am and returned by 3.30.
After the event I realised that I was travelling pretty close to one on. I've had this series on my 'To do' list for some time and try to pick them up when in the area.
Lovely little area that I signed at 4.15 pm. When walking back to the car on the main trail, couldn't believe that a car was coming towards me. As soon as they saw me, they did a 5 point turn and drove back the other way down the trail.
Thanks for the cache A Homburg

Found it lucky for the hint the gos had me a bit off. Unfortunately forgot a pen so couldn’t sign the book.
A pleasant walk in the sunshine to find this one. GPS had me a little way off initially, but soon found the hide.
Noted the clue, now to find the others in the series.

Good Friday ride from Lilydale to Warburton with geohusband, sisters, brother & brother in law. Although a chilly start to the day the weather was amazing. I scrambled up to make this find while others in the group continued on the ride. Yes, it really was a nice day for a cache. TFTC
Clue retrieved.
Number 2 of 4 in this series I hope to get to today.
Saved by the hint yet again. Ha.

Thanks ahomburg. Just thought I would get in a last minute cache before Victoria goes into lockdown again, fingers crossed won't be for too long. regards from Victor
Too stubborn to follow the normal trail, climbed a dusty and collapsing hill with dirt in my shoes I quickly found the cache. Forgot to bring a writing implement, took a photo instead. TFTC on a warm Melbourne summer day ️
Found some better parking than under the bridge, must get back here on bike and ride the rest of the caches.

A day in and around the Yarra Valley; we were surprised at how green this part of Victoria is and at the number of interesting caches on offer for us to find as we explore a new area for us.
Our thanks to 'ahomburg' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Doing a bit of a tour this afternoon after some heavy gardening work this morning. Looks like this park is being revegetate with the "lets see how many plants we can put in one area and hope some survive" method [:o)]
Started to look for the cache and after a while a nice obvious spot presented itself and the cache was then found totally exposed And then to add insult to possible injury, the container had water inside due to the previous cacher leaving a corner of the plastic bag sticking out of the lid
Thanks ahomburg

We drove to this location today. Will have to leave the trail for another day. A nice stroll from the parked car, and we arrived at GZ. Told GeoJack where it would be, but he didn;t believe me. A quick check of the clue confirmed my suspicions, and GeoJack made the easy find. TFTC
TFtC ahomburg. Good hide. A nice day for a cache indeed. So far so good. Hopefully back the car before it rains. Jimmytherat
One of the many challenges I am doing concurrently requires 100 large caches. They are not that common so I need to get what I can. This meant a trip to collect clues from othe caches to help on a large cache. With some clear time I made the drive out. Another find in darkness with my bike light helping. GPS was a bit funny today and I went about 20m further up the path and pretty sure a homeless person is there in a tent about 20m up the bank pretty hidden by ferns... so a quick sign of the log and clue collected and I got out of there. Thanks to ahomburg for the placement and fun.
Out for a walk this morning and was passing by this one. Dropped by and was right where I expected. Now realise I need a clue out of here, so will have to return. TFTC
Had my little 4 yr old with me today as we searched for some caches, he loved finding this one as it was right at his eye level! Great fun, TFTC!
Taking my daughters to birthday party this evening and found myself in a place with a few hides within a few kilometres so decided to have a look around and see what I can find. Thanks!
Had to grab one for international geocaching day , so I targeted this cache . Had a bit of awalk from where I parked my car . Then a bit of a search and soon had the cache in my hands . Thanks ahomburg.
After going to a medical appointment for The Driver in Mooroolbark, we thought to find a few caches up in this area before heading home. A short jaunt in the bush for a cache proved a bit of adventure. My “favourite “ bush grass, Sword Grass, tried to hamper my way to what the finding device indicated was GZ. This is one case my instincts were better than the GPS. I had noted something further back on the track that I would have thought to place a cache. This proved to be the place in the end. Easy access was found to we simply, but effectively hidden cache. There isn’t any easy parking nearby, but The Driver stayed in the car in case he had to move it from a paddock gateway while I went to find the cache. TFTC.
Parked at the bottom of the hill. Hard slog to the top but nice views along the way.
Well, I certainly hadn’t expected to be Caching during the Oxfam 100km walk. Thanks to my amazing team mates and support crew for making it an amazing event with the odd cache!
I was in this area today providing support to a team of cachers on the Oxfam Trailwalker event. We were parked up and waiting for our walkers to come through when I realised I was 200m from this cache. The CO (who was sitting next to me) tried to send me in the wrong direction but I resisted and headed off to look for this one. I was close but still made hard work of it bashing around in the dark. Eventually I corrected and made the find in a likely spot close to the track. After a short wait our team of walkers came through and I was able to share the find and take it to the CO for a maintenance check before putting it back in place. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache ahomburg. It's been a while between drinks for me on caches in this series so I must try to target a few more of them.
I parked nearby and made my way towards this one - which I walked right past as I was messaging someone. I headed to a likely hiding place and found it, thanks!
After heading along the rail trail from wandin thought this would be a nice easy find. It was but no the way we approached it. A lovely part of the world and the walk was just what I needed. Thanks for your effort
Out and about for the day with Echidna44. Thought we would clear out some in the east. We thought we parked nice and close and from then we took all the wrong tracks. Needed to scale the embankment and scale the fence. Always seem to do it the hard way. Got to GZ and what do we find, the right track and the cache. Thanks for the cache ahomburg. We took the easier (right) one down. What the heck it keeps us laughing.
Out with xambo4u, we parked near the bridge and walked in, only to find we were confronted by an embankment. Maybe not the right terrain !!!
We continued on towards GZ, and there we found another track (easy) and the cache close by. We took the easy way back. Thanks for the adventure ahomburg

Cheers for taking us down a different track. Tough to find with all the trees blocking the GPS.
Out and about today. A good day for rugging up from the wind and getting some exercise. Lovely area, thanks ahomburg. We look forward to doing more of this series and seeing some of your favourite spots.
Up hill and down dale.
Determined we were not to fail.
Initially stumped due to an erratic GPSr
It was found and stamped
And we returned to the car.

Grabbed this one as we walked along the trail. Suns out great day for a stroll
Thanx for the Adventure

On another one of our walks we tracked this one down, what a great area this is along the trail and so close to home.
Dad and boy brought our bikes up the hill, and tackled this section of the Warburton rail trail. Grabbed a few caches on our way around. This was a quick grab, forgot to check the clue for the final and so we had to drop back in on our way back to the car.
Found while marching along the rail trail with Annoying Tarbit, Lost_and_found_79, Loz6032 and waferthin. I actually departed from the group for this one. It was a modest 30-something metres off the track though the direct route was not terribly inviting. But I've been collecting these clues for what seems like forever and thought it worth a quick dash through the scrub. It was found fairly quickly but it meant I lagged way behind the group who reassured me by SMS that they were "sure you'll catch us up". I did so, but it required a particularly brisk pace. I guess this was supposed to be 'training' after all! Thanks ahomburg!
This was a nice spot for lunch. I have thought of stopping here several times, today I did. Thanks
It was a great day for caching and we thoroughly enjoyed riding the trail. Thanks ahomburg.
Found it. The cashed could use a new airlock bag and repaint. Contents were in good condition though.

Great day for a walk on the Lylidale Warrandyte rail trail. After some bush bashing off the track I realised I needed to be closer to the track. Great area TFTC SL TNLN

Wow I didn't even need the hint for once. After walking past it to the junction, I changed to cgeo which showed the paths and told me I needed to go back to where I came from. Very wet and muddy tracks at the moment, cache in good order.
Nice little walk through the Bush, we were planning to do the Dandenong Meander today but the gates were closed so now we are heading to Mt Donna Buang. Nice hide, great for the geokids. Signed log and geodaughter10 left a giraffe. TFTC
Nice day for a cache indeed. Drove around, underneath the bridge, up the hill and found a safe spot to park. GPS still useless today so for pretty much every cache I had to resort to the hint. Collected the clue and continued on my journey. Thanks Ahomburg. I'm slowly getting all the clues to all of your series. One of these days/months/years I might actually complete one!
Found it retrieved it signed it and replaced it after a short stroll from the main trail
the sun is out not a lot of birds singing a great day for a cache.
Thanks ohomburg FTC.

After months of talking about it, today 88andy88 and I began riding the Lily-Warby Rail Trail.
Spotted this along the way.
Looked around and found a path. "Knowing ahomburg, it'll be up here"
Noted the clue, SL & placed back in hidey hole.
Note to self: Must finish off this series. Oh, and must locate where I noted other clues in this series.

Found @1:32 PM #1852 nice hide off the beaten track in a typical AH spot .... Tftc mate
Found it. Have Walked down the Warburton rail trail here many times - Didn't even realise this side trail existed!
Yep found this one. A long walk from launching place but we arrived, well worth the outing.
A short walk somewhere I'd never been before on my way to doing the shopping on a warm, dry day and YEAH ... my GPS decided to give REALLY accurate results!!! Thanks for an easy find
Well this was it, the last of the 10 caches needed to find the Final cache in the series. I parked in Bailey Road at the end of the Pony Club grounds and took a short walk into the reserve to look for the cache. After my GPS had settled down I soon made a quick find and had the last clue...well at least the last I was able to find.
Thanks ahomburg for the cache and the series...only the Final go now...could I do it?
