A big thanks to Firewoof for putting in the time to arrange this event. Was great to put faces to names. A fab relaxing day. Thanks Firewoof!
Unfortunately it didn't work out for me to get to this event- I am of course not a local but it seems a few others decided to become locals for the day
Wish I had as caching down here in Wellington was a bit of a fizzer with only one find, one other cache definitely missing and one probably missing! Must have been punishment for not joining you lol.
Great to see some more new caches up there (some in places where I had suggested possibilities,) definitely intending to be up there for the 2013 Masters Games but hoping I can get there before that too!

Thanks Firewoof for a well organised event. It was great to meet some of the locals and to catch up with some old acquaintances too. Once again thanks for all the effort.
Very enjoyable event and good to meet some of the names without faces until now. Well planned and placed caches and it was good to be able to locate them all. A big thanks to Firewoof for all the work he had put into this event.
Really enjoyed the day meeting others and searching.
Thanks Firewoof, has given us some ideas

What a brilliant day at Firewoof's "A local Eyeball" event. Great to put faces to the names we see in the logs. This was our first event and we had so much fun, so thanks very much for the effort Firewoof.
Was nice to be able to meet a few fellow cachers & may well see you out & about.
Thanks to Firewolf for organizing the get together & placing the caches.
I ended up going home after finding two caches as my knee was starting to hurt & I also wanted to save a few for when I am on holiday in a couple of weeks.

Great event, very enjoyable. Very nice to meet the locals plus catch up with some of the out of towners whom we know well. Looks like our trips to Wanaganui may become more frequent given the obvious enthusiam of the Wanganui geocaching community, looking forward to it.
Many thanks for organising the event Firewoof.
Many thanks for organising the event Firewoof.
Decided this morning to tag along with W.E.K.A. on their trip to Wanganui.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Had a really enjoyable day putting faces to some of those caching names. Thanks Firewoof for setting up the meeting, & for the 10 new caches.
A bit of a last minute decision to attend this event, from Palmerston North where we were staying, and hoping the weather would improve as forecast – it did! It was good to meet some of the Wanganui geocachers, and some other non-locals. Thanks to Firewoof for organizing the event, and also a substantial number of new caches. We did a few of these, but mainly concentrated on catching up on some of the older ones. We’ll have to return to finish them off.
Thank you very much Firewoof for this event. It was great to meet some other cachers and share a few exploits, plus get a few helpful hints. It made a good finish to our Wanganui caching weekend.
Yep, will be there. Looking forward to meeting everyone and attending Wanganui's first event cache.
Will be great to 'eyeball' some of the faces to the names.
Might just be Rachel for this one - not sure how many of
the RiffRaff will be available.
