T-Tech and I have been holidaying at The Entrance for a week over Christmas with our extended family, and now we are taking 3 days to get back to Brisbane [^] We reached Taree last night and today we have a few caches to collect here!
We both need 3 extra caches within 25kms of Taree to qualify for MAP's Manning Mini-Matrix Challenge. However, we searched everywhere we could think of but didn't get the find

Stopped for a play nearby then wandered over. Pretty quiet on a Monday afternoon! We looked in a few places then after reading a couple logs spotted the hide!

Now, we have been in Australia for one week. We landed in Brisbane one week ago, and have been travelling south. Now we are in Harrington. We found some of the caches along the main road yesterday, and some today. Then we drove to Ellenborough Waterfall. It was a long trip, but we liked what we saw. Ellenborough Waterfall is one of the most spectacular and longest single drop waterfalls in the southern hemisphere. It is almost like beeing in the Norwegian mountains. On our way home we decided to stop at one cache, and this was the chosen one. We found the cache quite quickly, signed the log and replaced the cache.
En stor takk til latanzi for cachen. Greetings from Norway.

Found it with a little help of the comments. Not many ppl around because was late on Saturday arvo
7420 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 0945. It took us a while to work out where we could park the van but once that was sorted it was easy. One of the shop workers was putting away signs and placing other stuff as we arrived. When you are near and you can see a face with a big beaming smile we guess you must be near. Now that could be a give away. SL Tnx lantanzi a favourite from us.
The parking area and craft shop were deserted today, so I checked one of the few places it could be then retrieved it and logged some distance away. It was returned just as easily, then we went into the information centre for some, well, information. Thanks latanzi for a good hide in a public place.
Have not driven through town since the detour opened. Came in search of a pie for lunch.
Cheers

After enjoying the frivolity of the Oz Geomuster and finding a few caches while we were there, it was time to start on our way back home. Obviously, we needed to stop now and again to stretch the legs so finding a cache along the way was a perfect opportunity.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you latanzi for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Today we travelled South from Port Macquarie to Wingham in order to climb Khatabundah Mountain, sticking with our tradition of mountain climbing for every 100th cache.
Thankfully there were almost no muggles around, searched a few obvious spots until bingo, cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache

Log slightly damp and a lot of wasted space. Signed off a little way back. Replaced as found. TFTC
We are having a few days at Pacific Palms with my sister and bil while on the way home from Queensland. This morning I headed into Taree to grab a few caches there but in the end decided to grab the ones in the Diamond Head area instead.
This was one of only two I did in Taree itself and with bugger all people around I was able to lay my hand on the cache and do my business very quickly. Thanks latanzi.

Made my first cache in Taree and got a nice cool down in the info centre on a hot day. Thanks for the cache.
Stortigirls and I are staying the night in Taree, so it was only a short detour to this one. As it was after dark, there was no one about, so we were able to make a quick find here. TFTC
Selva Girls and I pulled in to the carpark after dark as we arrived in Taree on our roadtrip. We were hoping for a quick find here and we were not disappointed. This one is probably much quicker when the place is deserted. Names in the log and we were finally off to the motel. Tftc latanzi
Lunch stop nearby. Going home to Sydney. Been in Queensland on a caravan holiday. TFTC latanzi
Reading one of the recent logs gave me a big hint as to where to look/feel.

Ground zero was deserted when we got there but my phone wouldn't load the description and we left the gps at home. Started looking and then the details loaded.
Got very close to GZ when the two ladies from the craft store asked if I was looking for something. Explained what I was doing and luckily found the cache to verify my story. They sounded interested and noted that they had seen people poking around.
Cache is in good condition
Thanks

A quick(ish) find in a last ditch attempt to grab a few more caches on the way home to Newcastle from Armidale via Ebor and Bellingen. Decided to grab dinner across the road as well to kids the kids smiling. TNLN TFTC
Just one more?

Found this cache fairly easily. It had a travel bug which I am going to put in a cache back home as we are on holidays here now. Tftc!
First find for 2017! Down in Taree for a dinner with mate and arrived early so did a bit of caching whilst waiting for him! Have wanted to do this one for a while but needed a tall person to assist me.....!
Trackable has been removed. I struggled reaching this one - good thing I came at night!
found whilst passing through area
easy find, nice cache, great location

Cruising the east coast on the way back from Coffs.we though this would be a good place to drop "princess" a travel bug trying to get to the NT. We got her to here from Victoria anf hope someone can continue her travels from Norway.
TFTC number 2 find in Taree but so not friendly to a height challenged person. Found in the company of LOL very glad she is taller than I am.
We stopped at nearby Macca's for a bite and a cache. Surprisingly a quick find and minimum muggles about (info centre closed today). I grabbed the two TB's within and signed the log. TFTC latanzi.
Stopped in town for some shopping and had to grab this cache. Nice and quiet to day to make the find. Spotted where we thought it would be and after a bit of a stretch grabbed the cache. Log signed and a couple of TB's dropped to continue their travels.
Finally! I've known exactly where it was for ages but as I am vertically challenged I couldn't put my hands on it. Late evening after soccer training is the perfect time as there is no one around. Took trackable. Very clever hide. TFTC.
Lady from the shop was putting out signs so i managed to grab it when she was not looking (Probably knows its there anyway) Did the same returning, said good day and walked away. TFTC
Nice one Latanzi. Plenty of muggles around with the Taree Eisteddford on today but they were all to busy fixing their hair and makeup and looking generally nervous to pay us much attention. Geodad was not on his game today but luckily geogirl Snr was and spotted a tricky hide. Thanks for entertaining us non performers for a few minutes while we wait for geogirl Jnr to break a leg.
Don't you just hate it when you can see the cache but can't quite reach it?!!! So came back well after dark armed with extra equipment and taller friend and soon had it in hand. Added extra swaps TFTC
TFTC, easy to find, hard to get it out and in un-noticed, but with patience it was achieved.
We were here for NPL soccer trials. Found where it may have been but had to get hubby to reach it!!! TFTC
Thank you for placing this cache. Found on the mid north coast camping weekend. Sl Sorry for generic type logs. no offense but we had to log 4 days worth when we arrived home. We really do appreciate you time and effort in placing this and other caches. Just like to add that this one turned out expensive. Mrs Oz decided i should look for the cache and she would distract the craft shop ladies. Well like a fool i thought ok , that sounds like a good idea. Only after i had found and signed the cache plus waited for some time did reality bite. I wondered into the craft shop to find 2 nice old dears behind the counter 90% asleep and 1 excited Mrs oz who had just found the perfect item, which as far as i knew we didn't even need before we stopped.
How clear and obvious yet so subtle! Wanted to nab this in my lunch break but this will have to be a grab when I have a hockey game one evening....saw it as soon as I got to GZ but was never going to be able to grab it when I'm such a shorty and the Craft shop was open....
First cache own my own. Introduced my brother son and niece to caching. Cache extremely brittle and needs maintenance after all the rain
Heading north to Brisbane and it was time for a rest at Taree and to grab a few caches for a challenge cache.
Nice and quiet when I arrived today and after parking nearby I wandered over to GZ and the cache was quickly in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

TFTC,
Last day of our quick trip to Queensland.
Found this on our return trip as I attempt to achieve a 3 per day average for 2015. Not sure if I will get there.
Visited trackables.

Found this one today with Gazkersh and Tilly while doing a little bit of caching in the Taree area. Nice easy find, then went in for a little look in the craft store. One of the ladies who work in the store told us that she always sees people looking around there and had even seen them find 'that thing!' She told us that she didn't know what it was but she always checks to make sure it's still there! LOL! So we explained it to her and she seemed quite impressed Cool sized container so we left a pirate eye patch and bouncy ball. Signed log. TFTC latanzi
Stopped by here on a wet and miserable afternoon visit to Taree.
Went in to see what local wares the ladies had been busy crafting, but they didn't seem interested in us. Gossip was more on the agenda for today
We headed back outside and without any muggles about, Mr Parko grabbed the cache

Been back twice and this one still has us stumped (pun intended?). Maybe third time lucky
While waiting at the Taree esteidford I walked past and checked in . It was good to find my original post was still in the log book.
A late afternoon visit meant there was no information but no witnesses either. Liked the hiding spot. Thanks again latanzi.
