absolutely wonderful spot ... never seen a cache in such a nice spot .. a little to get to but wow even though I did not find it sadly
Was in the area today doing some recce for a puzzle cache I intend on setting up in the next few weeks so I thought this might be worth a look. But alas, I too was unable to make a find. CO has been MIA for as long as I've been caching. Sadly, I think it might be RIP to the Bragg Holt Memorial cache...

A fair mission. Looked in the most likely spots but only found a muggle device with bottle and hose! Have messaged CO for assistance. Great location but very sad. We will be back.
I ride this road a lot bland always knew about tragedy that happened. Never knew the exact location. Now I do thanks to geocaching. TFTC.
Little miss scared of heights was determined to get down here she succeeded and was glad she did cause the views were amazing
July 2018 Weekend trip to Watagen National park for the Lake Macquarie History series with Fiztzy_1965 and MinnieK.
On the way North we took the old highway and collected as many caches as we could along the way. I clambered down the embankment and had a good look around. As time was pressing, we moved on, but I fear if it was supposed to where I think it would have been it might be gone. I hope I am wrong.
Thanks.

Found quickly after scrambling down to the right level past all the Cobblers Pegs. TFTC
Made a few detours on my way to the Oz geomuster in Morriset. Enjoyed driving in new areas and on unknown roads. Had little problems finding all caches, the the increasing heat was coming quick!

The Geowife has a card making class today on the Central Coast - and as it goes ALL day, I've thoughtfully volunteered to do chauffeur duties... So what will I do between 9am and 6pm? I wonder...
As I'd already cleared out the caches near the class venue (and needed breakfast and petrol) I knew I realistically had 8 solid hours of caching, so decided on a circular route and had hoped to find 30 - 35 caches, including a few bush ones. Didn't quite work out that way as I had a few long DNFs. In the end found 27 - probably could have got 30 if not for driving past a few due to not spotting parking possibilities. And didn't get to the final area I was targeting near Narara where I'd even solved a few puzzles.
But a good day, with plenty of driving for *The Hademobile*.
And in the mix was my 4400th find. Decided to let that one fall where it may. That required 26 finds today, so thankfully I did just get there.
Thanks to **xPhenoms**, whose *Motorcycle* series provided many of the day's finds - parking for which I suspect is easier if travelling by motorcycle!
I also grabbed a few of **Shockers'** *CAW* series.
I'll try to make one or two unique comments for each cache, but so many to do...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Short walk to GZ here - just a question of the best route. Quick find.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then took in the new bridge and what I assume are the remains of the old.
Then back up to look at the memorial.
I do remember the tragedy - just. And it wasn't really that long ago.

Found with BillHill531 on a day trip to find one last scenic adventure, an old placed month and a few other caches in between.
We parked in the biggest part of the shoulder, then walked along the road to the top of the bridge/culvert. There were way to many "farmers friends" down one side so we went down the other side and got to walk across the bridge/concrete pipe. Then it was a fun climb down and the cache was found in the first place I looked. I also shimmied my way to the main part of the tunnel, which was unnecessary, crazy and fun. I put the cache back to far and struggled to get it back out until I figured out you can get it from the side. Walked back towards the buildings and popped out near the memorial.
Thanks for the awareness, bridges, climb and cache!

Found with TOMBI!, we came down to Central Coast area to do some scenic caches, finding some others on the way. It is 10 years since the Pesha Bulka beached on Newcastle Beach probably the same day this tragedy happened.

We had a bit of time tonight to stop and look for this one. It is nice to see the care for the memorial is continuing with manicured grass surrounds etc.
The tragic outcome of that days events is still clear as I recall the news headlines from that day...
Trekking down to GZ, bypassing some hard earned Golden Ord webs (left intact), it didn't take too long to discover the "Better Placed" container tucked away.
All in good condition.
SL and returned as found.

Parked at the side street and walked across the vacant lot down to the bridge. Spotted the cache sitting out in the open, I think some muggle graffitists had found it but thankfully left it intact. Signed log and pushed the cache further back in to where it should be. It is quite a nice little creek flowing through here, sad to hear of the tragedy. TFTC.
Today I travelled back from Nelson bag to Caringbah. With a stop for the reptile park to keep GeoDirk and HanorahTLG happy.
Nice place for the cache, although we had a little scare because of the prickles. TFTC.

Read the hint and still couldn't find it.
Considered the recent bad weather we had where half the central coast flooded so thought outside the box.
Found it under the reed/grass down the creek. Put it where I THINK the hint suggested.

Found with the geo-wife and son during a days touring and caching the hidden spots of the Central Coast. I was working on the F3 around Mooney when this tragic event occurred and checked out the site the a few days later. A lot of similar road culverts around the state were replaced as a result of what happened at GZ. Thanks SuperAdvancedMedia for bring me back. RIP to the family of five that perished here.
After visiting the reptile park, try to have another find. Parked the car behind a double-B, walked to bridge. The terrain was OK except a few sticking branches near GZ. Geokids and I were stuck several times. One newly introduced geokid was brave and considerable to help us to pass them. The cache is hiding in obvious spot. The logbook is damp. Supply a Zip-Lock bag to protect it. TFTC.
Made a meal of that one. Thought it was roadside. Detoured around to get it and was a quick find. Tftc tnln
Headed down today across the vacant lot, and along the pipe, but once near the point to hop down and search spotted a hi vis wearing muggle doing something there with his back to me so retreated. He looked like he was inspecting plants or something in the area. Oh well, the only not found for the day. Guess that explains the other 2 cars parked up in the side street where I stopped. Not a DNF as I didn't get to search!
Over and under. Watch out for spiky thorny things. In the end we over engineered this one. Back to basics and we had our 7th find for the morning. Time for a break. TFTC
We were going for a drive to Brooklyn and finding caches along the way.I am very wary of snakes so was grateful for a little concrete path to walk along to get to GZ .My geodaughter has started collecting aluminium cans so she did her CITO here and got 8 cans while I got the cache. Thanks for the cache SuperAdvanced Media tnln sl
“I now have my own account and I am logging this old find under my new username.”
Found it our cords seemed to be a bit off Soo thanks for the hint! TFTC interesting place nice hidden art
Was in the area for a short time today and was keen to pick up a few of the surrounding caches. It was such a glorious day. I first drove straight past this one before turning around and parking in the nearby street. I quickly found the obvious geotrail after making my way towards GZ. The poor dainty little pup was a bit hesitant but to my absolute surprise she jumped off the top of the rocks and instead of waiting for me to pick her up and carry her down! We both had a lot of fun, exploring around. Thanks for the nicely hidden little cache and for bringing us here... and apparently for teaching the pup new tricks!
Out today for a huge day with darkside dan. We had planned on doing as much of the motorcycle series. On the way we thought we would get as many other caches as well. We ended up getting 64 for the day and that's why i say sorry about the copy paste logs. Thanks for the caches and we had a blast together
Had a fantastic day today. Mr Roo and I found 72 caches, travelled over 300km and cached for 11 hours all up.
We climbed straight over it then realised that the GZ was behind us. Quick got the cache in our hands. TFTC SuperAdvancedMedia.

Found. Relaxing little oasis. Found a couple of repurposed plastic bottles hidden near cache, lol.
Certainly a sad and tragic story. We parked close and made our way down from up top and when getting to the bottom turned around to see a bit of camo for a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. For the short return trip we followed the pipe and side drain out. TFTC.

An easy find. After taking the hard way there but finding an easy way out. A beautiful memorial and place too.
We started our extended trip from Dural. Our first stop was at Berowra Waters. After, we made our way to Forster.

A very hot afternoon as we make our way from Sydney to the Hunter for a weekend away. Over forty degrees! Made our way down the steep way and left via the memorial. We remember the very sad incident. What a shame for the families. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

The kids & I were up this way for a visit to the Reptile Park, they allowed me to stop for just one cache.
From the name, I thought this was a memorial to some physicists, and wondered what the connection to the area was. Then I read the cache notes, and remembered how bad the storms were that weekend and this tragic accident.
I made a quick find while the kids explored the area a bit.
Thanks

After a great day at the Reptile Park, Mum insisted on stopping for a cache on the way home. She chose this one, close by the Reptile Park. She found it quickly while we explored the area.
It amazes me that a stream that is hardly flowing on a day like today can turn into a ranging torrent strong enough to bring down a bridge. But it happened and should serve as a reminder of the immense power that nature possesses. Thanks SuperAdvanced Media for providing us with this reminder of what nature can do.
Today though, the stream just offers a gentle rippling water over the rocks, and the find is a straightforward one. I'm glad though that I did this cache now and not in a month or two ... by then the walkway (which I guess is technically a drainway) will be covered by lantana and vines, making access much more difficult.

Nice one. Thanks Where's Wallie for introducing me to this hobby! Enjoyed the bridge, beautiful scenery.
This one had me looking for a while. I enjoyed looking at the graffiti down there. Some of it is really good, others...eh...not so much. Wasn't too bad after all the rain. TFTC!!

The main problem was to find the best way to get down to GZ. Once there, the cache was soon located and the log signed.
The coordinates turned out to be pretty close, and it wasn't too hard to find. We went after days of rain. It was muddy, but there was no danger from fast flowing water. I think the creek would only be dangerous immediately after exceptionally heavy rain.
Great little cache.
Lots of graffiti on the walls.
I've seen a lot of interesting 'tags', but I've never seen 'anus' before.
Must suffer low self esteem, I'd reckon.
