Far too much muggle activity for this one. One guy thought we had lost something, and a lady was watching us intently from her verandah across the road. Light was fading anyway, will try again another day.
As previous two logs, we had a good idea where to look but there was no cache to be found. Also had a very good look around with no luck.
arriving in the back end I saw the place immediately but didn't think to bend down. After spending a bit of time up the other end of the park I finally hardened up and bent down "aloha" to you too.
What a secluded little place! The nearby dogs raised the usual ruckus, but managed to quieten down once I'd wandered away from the fence. Poked around where I thought it might be, but then tried another location (after reading a few logs) and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
As i was searching an elderly muggle walked through the park n nearly sprung me. Thanks to my stealthish skills i covered up by throwing rubbish in the bin n moved along. TFTC.
We stopped in here last week, but there were 2 romantic muggles at the table and a small guard dog at the house next door. We thought we had GZ figured out but after a quick check and coming up empty we widened our search. Within minutes of searching with a torch the cache was in hand. TFTC
Night caching with The Hunting Rabbit. We tried to be discrete but the neighbourhood pooches made that a little difficult. Nonetheless Mrs Hunting Rabbit located GZ. The clue helped. TFTC.
Never been to this little park. After reading the clue I knew exactly where it would be. I was being watched a a very sucpiscious dog on a nearby verandah but it was a quick find. A nice variation of the classic eclipse.
Last find of a quick lunchtime trio. When I arrived at GZ there was a muggle in her car with the engine running just 10m away. I waited a few minutes and concluded that despite the running engine she wasn't going anywhere soon, but she was totally engrossed with what she was doing. Into stealth mode and grabbed the cache. Stealth mode again to return the cache. While walking away realised there was another muggle 10m behind me, but seemed too preoccupied on his phone to notice what I was doing. Or was he indeed a muggle or another cacher??? I'll watch for any other logged visits dated today. Great little hide. Clue was very helpful. TFTC
This was a change: normally I set off every dog within a block's radius! Today I just wandered in quietly, waited for a biking muggle to finish his drink and take off, and then found the cache very quickly. No apparent neighbours looking on: wow, looks like I had a very lucky visit here. TFTC richshazz!
Found with ayepeacee. Didnt like the cache alarm system i am afraid the dogs were very defensive of their park. We were stumped for where it would be and had to read others logs. Thanks to captain terror, i realised it was in a place i dont like placing or finding caches and i was surprised at your choice of hide location.. perhaps not the most offensive of these items, but i personally am not a fan. Each to their own. Ayepeacee did the reaching honours. In your defense, i LOVE the container. TFTC ^^
=) The dogs were awesome, they got so cranky when I approached them. Cache is still in good condition TFTC =)
Found it! Found its few days ago, forgot to log. Nice simple cache, the dog next door made it so everyone knew we were there.

Nice easy find and having visited four of the Hawaiian islands in June this year, the cache was familiar to me!
Having said that, this was a creepy little urban park. Seriously! I felt freaked out sitting there signing the log! It's almost as though this was once a nice piece of parkland that got forgotten and taken over by things that go bump in the night (and day, apparently) and crowded in by rundown houses.
This brings me up to #97 Finds... weeeeeeeeee!!!

Another bike ride....
Another visit to this little park....
Well at least this time there were no muggles smokin' or drinkin' on the balcony
I knew about the loud yappy 'alarm' dog so I rode the pushie in quietly.
With the bike leant against where I knew the cache had to be (after exhausting all the other possibilities on previous visits) I reached in to grab the cache
I bumped the pushbike, which bumped the hiding place which went [red]CLUNK[/red]
YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !! YAP !!
...... groan
I persisted with my logbook signing and rehid the cache.
Crouched next to the bike it looked like I was fixing the chain to any onlookers, who around here probably wouldn't care less anyway
TFTC..... at last [^]

When we arrived at the park, the dogs next door took an immediate umbrage to us - and started barking - a lot. The rotten buggers wouldn't shut up. We eventually left with no cache.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
What a small park! At GZ I ignored the caches location hoping it wouldn't be there. Instead I looked around a few more 'traditional' locations without success, before returning to my initial thought. Sure enough it was there, so under watch of neighbouring dogs, I signed the log and was on my way.

I thought it may be a bit less muggly here early morning
Wrong.... the burpin', swearin', coughin' muggles were out on the balcony already [:o]
The smell of the slightly illegal stuff they were smokin' was almost overwhelming !!
The dogs were going crazy too at the sight of a stranger in their park.
I had looked in the obvious place last visit and decided to have a quick look elsewhere.
I'll be back

Thankfully, this little park was quiet when I pulled up. I padded over to GZ and started a hunt in an obvious area. Nothing there. I decided to widen my search to another area - and came up trumps. The poor weather provided me with good cover while searching for this one. The cache is in good condition. TFTC richshazz
Here's a park I haven't found before
Tiny isn't it ?
And while the crested pigeons looked on,
a balcony muggle also was having a sticky beak
at the stranger in his park [:o]
I shuffled around a bit while sipping a fizzy cola,
carefully poking any likely hiding spots that I could reach
But I think the real hiding place was 'over there' in full view of the muggles.
I will have to return for the find on this cache

Small park anyone? Pulled up across the road with Net88, Whint and Gambler for the hunt and headed to where the GPS wanted me. Hint in mind started the hunt, but no luck. I tried somewhere a little stinkier and sure enough, found the cache. Can't say I'm a fan of this one, but it's a smiley. TFTC richshazz.
Found quickly with Captain Terror, Whint and Bad Dal and Gambler 2000. Even though i agree that it does have wheelchair access i will mention that a cacher in a wheelchair will not be able to retrieve the cache. Thanks for the cache richshazz

Hi everybody
I stayed in Woolloongabba for three month this year. Unfortunately I had a very old GPS and couldn't find any caches. But I have a TB which I didn't want to take back to Switzerland. So I left it near this cache in a Letter Box. If you want to help me and take the TB which want to see different nice places all over the world, please contact me and I tell you where you can pick it up
Thank you very much for your help!

The dogs were waiting for me. They just stood nearby on the steps watching me until I started walking toward them, then they started barking loudly which set off all the dogs in the street. I opted out and left as quickly as I could.
Sat around for a while feeling conspicuous as a nearby muggle was sitting on his balcony. I had a few surreptitious looks in obvious places but felt too exposed so began to leave when said muggle gave me a hint as to where the cache was. Once the game was up I was happy to get right in there and have a good old peek. Just where I thought it would be. Nice man, nice doggies!
No chance here for us this morning. Muggle on front porch looking directly at us. Dog with a very loud bark making sure everyone was watching us. We decided to retreat without even a look. So sad.
Up in Qld for a special little girl's 1st birthday - mum needed to make the cake for the party tomorrow so "Aunty Stacky" took the birthday girl 2B for a walk and her first caching adventure.
Found it easily enough. The outer bag was wet but the inner contents are dry. Signed "S68" due to lack of space.

Approaching GZ I started to get that sinking feeling as I spied the cache guard dogs. Strangely the pair of them just sat and looked as I searched for the cache. It was only as I left the site that they turned on a typical doggy performance.
A quick find today. Dog next door kindly waited until we replaced the cache to start barking. Thanks richshazz
HI there fellow Geocachers, I am 'Harry Wild'. This was my first ever cache - we were down in Brisbane going to my grandma's to stir a cake, the whole family came. Yeah, laugh it up, laugh it up. Anyway the point. I am 11 years old and this was my first ever cache!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE SAW THE PIGEONS AND THERE WAS NOT MANY AROUND SO WE WENT AND HAD A CLOSER LOOK AND HUNDREDS OF THEM FLEW OUT OF THE TREE!!! I see your point Richshazz by the way I am a big fan of Deadmau5 and the Toowoomba City Rollers MAY ALL YOUR CACHES BE DRY AND YOUR PENCILS SHARP.

Found it with Harry Wild. Thanks richshazz, this was a great intro to Geocaching. We'd accidentally stumbled on a Geocache at a park here in Toowoomba recently and decided to check it out further. So, we'd stopped at a park in Woollongabba on the way to a family gig to walk the dog while my wife visited a local perfumier (long story), and thought "Why not see if there are any caches nearby?". We checked the Google App on the phone that I had just downloaded and not yet used, and this cache came up, and being big bird fans we left the car and wife and headed off and were soon weaving through the streets with the dog. We found the great park, and cracked up when all the Crested Pigeons took off like a Hitchcock movie. Then we discovered what's obviously a part of the GC risk-factor, not getting hassled by locals, as our dog went nuts at the local dogs and the lad raced about frantically looking under every leaf before I could slow him down. After checking the hint we went a bit more methodically, but I'd already said that I doubted we'd find it - so it was a great thrill to actually find it. Then we had to high-tail it back about 600m to the car. Cheers.
Found today @ 8:30. Lovely little tin and log is in good condition.
No idea why I couldn't put my hands on this one last time I was here. Bad case of cache blindness because as soon as I looked around today I spotted the only place it could possibly be hidden.
The local dogs were crazy as ever and the balcony-dwelling muggles were nearby but I did the whole 'fixing the bike' thing and it was soon in hand.

Muggle sitting at the table playing his guitar meant I had to wait a while. Then the dogs next door decided that I looked kind of suspicious just standing right next to their fence ... I was looking at something blue I swear! Muggle left and I decided that I was looking at the wrong blue thing so went and sat down, noticed a perfectly obviously OTHER blue thing and lo and behold! Lovely park had no idea it was even there. SL TFTC

Back again this morning for another hunt, there was no problem at all and the container was in hand within a few seconds. Makes all the difference when no-one is in the area and you can search in peace. I was out and about with Kaisho53, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano this morning. The local hounds took a fancy to us but they were swiftly chastised and headed off so we could out business...
Cheers richshazz.

Bah Humbug... Bubbly_One and I headed in for a hunt this morning but were greeted by a muggle and her offspring on the playground. There were a couple of places the cache could have been and we managed to search one without drawing too much attention to ourselves but couldn't conduct a thorough search on the other. So, no joy for us...
We'll be back another time to focus on the only place it can be...

DNF today @ 8:15.
The barking dogs spotted me straight away but soon quietened down. Perhaps they're used to geocachers by now? Even so they were watching my every move and GZ appeared to be right next to their fence which was slightly intimidating.
Checked the hint and looked around but couldn't find this one

Muggles looked very entrenched in their verandah directly opposite. Geokid had a quick play then moved on. Will come back back.
Up from Adelaide for a conference so it was time to get in some long-distance caching. Gave this a cursory check as the mild, humid evening leant itself to verandah-sitting, book-reading, coffee-drinking muggles in plain sight of the search area. When you're hanging around in a quiet street in the dark, in the rain, no amount of innocence will still arouse suspicion.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 10:10am. There were dogs and muggles about in the house nearby so we had to wait them out; had morning tea at the nearby table and left after 40 minutes. Muggles went out eventually. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
My second attempt here-the first time I was put off by the maniacal dog next door which made me leave the area without even looking, this time it was a bit more subdued and I made a quick find.

Pulled up to find a couple of office workers having a smoke and prolonged chat at the nearby picnic table. Waited for some time, then went off to "Kingfisher". No one around upon my return, so got the job done in double-quick time. Much prettier container than the usual eclipse tin . Had just signed the log when a "do the right thing" muggle walked through and dropped his rubbish in the bin right beside where I was sitting. I had a very strong sense of another cacher come to say hello, but he just kept on going. Replaced the cache and went in search of more loot. No dish-lickers in evidence today. Either I was lucky, or it was at its anger management session . Funny comment by "Team Decoy" [^].
The pigeons were probably roosting when we logged this. nice park, TFTH.
Found at 1130. After having a couple of loacl dogs almost jump out of there yard as I went past the find was an easy one. TFTC.
have tried this one 3 other times but muggs were sitting in the park and I only had a limited time to scope during lunch break. found pretty quickly after finding a similarly placed cache last weekend.

The dogs took an interest as we started our search neat their front corner but once we moved away they settled down. We cehcked all the blue things but left the correct one until last.
The dog owners came home so we had to stop and waited for them to settle in. They didn't but they did leave again.
WE signed the log and headed off. No sign of any pigeons but we did see a local take a short cut through the park.

TFTC Richshazz. There is an area near the cache where GPSrs don't work but if you don't want to join the dogs we would suggest you change the coordinates to S 27° 29.638 E 153° 02.583.

gave up at 15:25. The GPSr led us around about but mainly into the corner of the house next door right where two dogs were loudly protecting their turf. A search of a few nearby likely spots failed to find anything.
Perhaps we'll back in this area some other time.
Perhaps we'll back in this area some other time.
I arrived at the location about 11:30am and the GPS pointed to a likely spot.
I noticed that the spot had been disturbed by previous hunters but it was empty.
I then widened the search under the watchful gaze of the local hound. I think it was too hot for him to bark or he is used to people in the park during the day.
I could not find another spot which was likely to hide a cache. I hope that the previous finders were not being watched. I did spent a good 20 minutes casing the area. I hope it is not near the fence which the dog as peering over.

Saw the discussion on Facebook page about a race for FTF so headed out early this morning. Got to the park but was promptly "made" by two dogs living in the house which borders this park.
We would highly recommend that you have a distraction (eg geokid or geohound) to visit this park as the houses on all three sides are extremely close and the two houses on the same side have dogs who are doing their job very well.

Oh well i have work tomorrow at Greenslopes so i'll have a look in the morning.
15/09/2011 Wake up for work and before i even get out of bed i check my phone and nope, cache is still up for grabs. Driving to work and running extreamly late mind you, An Old Hag says where are you going you missed the turn??

After chasing caches last night, I didn't get to bed until stupid o'clock, so when I got a phone call in the early morning I was surprised to hear that this one hadn't been found.
I was instructed with 'get out of bed mum, I going to leave for work in 10min, and take the detour to look for this cache'. Yeah right but I didn't feel like driving there and back .... ttoooooo tired.
The response was that it was OK because I could go with her and 'Then I'll just drop you off at a train station mum'. yeah right.
Well you know when you get older ... and your children think that they are entitled to order you around ... you just end up doing as you are told ...
Anyway we found the cache and yes we got a joint FTF
That made up for the early wake up and the unexpected train trip.
