Another beautiful Spring morning and time for my regular caching run with my caching mate, SedgwickDave. Today would be a bit different with it definitely not being about the numbers but about the adventure getting to each and every cache. We were headed towards the peninsula towards Cape Schnack, collecting caches on the way. We had a fantastic day and night, walking 20+ km in the process.
The beginning of this one took us about 15 minutes to locate the tag with the GZ co-ords, but we got it in the end and then made our way to GZ. Once there, we had to avoid several muggles, but eventually the coast was clear and the cache was found.
Thanks to Sheppythekid for the cache. TNLN.
Was on another epic caching run with caching buddy ahomburg. We were back down once again on the Peninsula on a prefect spring day for cleaning up the region between Point Leo to Cape Schanck. The weather was fantastic with over 20 km walked while doing some high T rated caches. Started around 8 and didn't roll back in the front door until; after 2245. [xx(]
As mention in previous logs it took us awhile to find the info at WP1 but in the end trusting the GPS and a process of elimination these details were finally in hand. Now it was off to GZ for a ninja approach due to muggles near by for a nice easy find. TFTC Sheppythekid, do like these types of multi's, left blue gem stone.
Thanks for a great multi and nice beach walk.
"Life is a beach cache"
What a great multi cache! on one of my favourite beaches, spent many a day chasing waves at this location and both my kids’ learnt to surf at “2nd Reef” and near bye “Crunchies”.
The first waypoint took quite a bit of searching to find, but once found and after a few teething problems were sorted with Co-ords at waypoint one. It was time to take the very enjoyable walk to GZ, were the cache was soon found. I must say I think you would have nay chance of logging this one on a fine weekend in holiday season
I have always wondered why there wasn’t a cache here, the area certainly needed one
Thx Sheppy a dam fine cache, great effort for your first go
