Find # 2080

Another beautiful Spring morning and time for my regular caching run with my caching mate, SedgwickDave. Today would be a bit different with it definitely not being about the numbers but about the adventure getting to each and every cache. We were headed towards the peninsula towards Cape Schnack, collecting caches on the way. We had a fantastic day and night, walking 20+ km in the process.

The beginning of this one took us about 15 minutes to locate the tag with the GZ co-ords, but we got it in the end and then made our way to GZ. Once there, we had to avoid several muggles, but eventually the coast was clear and the cache was found.

Thanks to Sheppythekid for the cache. TNLN.

Found @0951 #1924
Was on another epic caching run with caching buddy ahomburg. We were back down once again on the Peninsula on a prefect spring day for cleaning up the region between Point Leo to Cape Schanck. The weather was fantastic with over 20 km walked while doing some high T rated caches. Started around 8 and didn't roll back in the front door until; after 2245. Big GrinCool[xx(]

As mention in previous logs it took us awhile to find the info at WP1 but in the end trusting the GPS and a process of elimination these details were finally in hand. Now it was off to GZ for a ninja approach due to muggles near by for a nice easy find. TFTC Sheppythekid, do like these types of multi's, left blue gem stone.

This was, cache # 14 of 53 finds for the day, in the company of Everlasting on a trip down the peninsula to do the Jack Speak series and other cache in the area. It was eally hard to read the dog tag, due to sap over it, I had to give it a good wipe to read it, the log book was soaked. My thanks to Sheppythekid for the cache.

WP1 need refresh for dog tag as hard to read... anyway we make it and Oh dear the log book - so damp/mould - need TLC and refresh the container... Thanks Sheppythekid.

Found with Rabbitto on a good day for caching. Even though we had an idea where wp1 was located, and in fact it was in a highly logical place, it still took us a while to located it. Then it took us a while to decipher it as it was very difficult to read. Once at GZ it was a quick find. Thanks Sheppythekid.

We found this cache today at 5:00pm as the 40th of 59 in company of Alansee on our Peninsula Plunder. I wanted to start this one from our previous parking place at the last cache for a 200m walk but Alansee insisted on repositioning the car which consisted on a 5km drive followed by a 300m walk to WP1. The info at WP1 was covered in sap which made it very hard to find and read. Once located though, we relocated once again for a nice pick up at GZ. Thanks from D B-A.

Searched here for a good 10-15min to no avail. After I then did the nearby multi, I came back thinking that I knew what to really look for, still to no avail. a micro hide in the bush a 2.5 difficulty? I don't think so! lol

Grabbed while driving past. Could not attempt it when it was first published since the first tag was wrong and sending us to a farmer paddock. I see by the logbook that time travel is possible, or is it gained advantage ? What a shame.

After completing the nearby 'Camp Buxton' I headed over to this cache. WP1 was found fairly easily and then a nice walk down to GZ. On arrival there were a couple of muggles hanging around so I had to wait for them to leave before I could head into the final hide. Once I was in, the cache was found nice and quickly, log book signed and then headed back to my bike. I was hoping to get over to the 'Flinham' cache but just as I got back to my bike, the heavens opened so I headed for home instead.

Thanks for a great multi and nice beach walk.

Another great Sheppy find! Magnificent day, light wind, sunshine, low tide. This will be muggle city in summer and very difficult to get during the day! Thanks for another great cache along this beautiful stretch of coastline. Cheers.

"Life is a beach cache" Cool

What a great multi cache! on one of my favourite beaches, spent many a day chasing waves at this location and both my kids’ learnt to surf at “2nd Reef” and near bye “Crunchies”.

The first waypoint took quite a bit of searching to find, but once found and after a few teething problems were sorted with Co-ords at waypoint one. It was time to take the very enjoyable walk to GZ, were the cache was soon found. I must say I think you would have nay chance of logging this one on a fine weekend in holiday season

I have always wondered why there wasn’t a cache here, the area certainly needed one

Thx Sheppy a dam fine cache, great effort for your first go Big Grin
