Had a look around. I think this needs to be either checked in or archived. Hasnt been found in a while.
With alphag_25 unable to gain access due to festival, better luck next time.
Felt like we found the right area after getting our Sherlock caps on and figuring out the mystery. Had quite a look around the area of interest but nothing came about
We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort at Gold Coast and then at Big4 NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort at Arrawarra (Coffs Harbour), with some other as yet undetermined overnight stops along the M1 route there & back. Will be attempting to log a broad selection of cache types whilst in Queensland (at least one each of Trad, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earth, Wherigo, Virtual, & AdLab), including a visit to Queenslands oldest geocache GC8E - Queens land. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today (day 3) we went for stroll along the Broadwater Parklands at Southport, collecting some Adventure Lab stages and a Traditional cache, but sadly we also had some DNFs. We then collected a few random Traditional caches around the Southport area, followed by a fairly lengthy Wherigo cache starting at a cemetery, before ending the caching day with a Letterbox hybrid cache. The rest of the afternoon was spent lazing around the Treasure Island Holiday Resort pool. A total of 11 finds for the day (day 3).The family's chief puzzle solver had quickly solved this one before leaving home, so it was added to today's cache target list. Arrived at GZ and searched in and around the feature for quite some time, but nothing cache-like was found, and it only caused us to loose valuable paid parking time. In fact we wasted so much time searching that we had to forgo the remaining AdLab stages that we had planned further along the walk, and head straight back to the geomobile to exit the carpark before our paid time expired
Found the correct place, love the code!! But while looking for it a few teens showed up to try to slide down the hill on a body board in the rain (spoiler: it didnt work), they stayed tho so I couldnt keep looking..
We visited the Gold Coast on a beautiful day.We looked for a few caches on our tour. Thanks for the caches saysTeam sissifalke
Found this cache while on our walk along the Broadwater. Thanks for the puzzle and to those responsible for keeping this cache alive.
Didn't take long to solve this puzzle, as I've had to use the code myself a few times. Nicely done. Today, MrMagoo72 and our grandson drove out of Australia Fair on dusk, but decided we would stop as we were driving past, to hunt for the cache. Grandson's sharp eyes soon fixed on the container, as we struggled to see in the half-light. Signed the log and returned as found. Then we headed over to check out the fun sculptures admiring the view. TFTC.
Not too tricky to solve whilst at the park then a short walk to GZ. Took a minute to spot but got there. TFTC!

Early morning start for a day of caching with Peppa on the Gold Coast. I had no list of caches but Peppa managed to find some we both haven't found.
This puzzle was solved eons ago so when we made our way to Gz I had a different set of numbers. I just couldn't get my head around why. In the meantime Peppa found the cache signed and returned it before I accepted defeat... there is no offset any more!!

A day on the fabulous Gold Coast with Patrol14 caching through Parkwood, Molendinar, Southport & Main Beach… An easy day attempting to clean up the map…
I was last here in late 2021… wow that times gone quick… in the time it took to locate the container I was able to persuade Patrol14 there wasn’t an offset and we didn’t need to be down there…
Thanks radnoski

Solved ages ago, just had to wait for the school holidays to be over and pick a quiet day to go and get it. Today was the day. Thanks for the hide
Friday afternoon and it seems I am driving down the coast for an evening event and some local caches. I decided to stay down and then get in a couple more events for the weekend.
I stopped off at this one on my way to surfers paradise. I timed this really well as there were just two other cars parked on the strip here. I walked up and saw where I needed to be and then thought this is going to be fun. My first lap around and I saw nothing that stood out. Then while no one was around, I got down and started poking in all the holes, feeling around. I then felt something but it was soo jammed in that I could not get it out. I looked around for a tool of some sort and found a branch. By now, I had a couple of people in the distance watching me. I finally got it out, I signed and replaced as quickly as I could and then got out of there.
Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.

This wasn't too hard of a puzzle, with a method/language that I had recognised from my Air Force Cadet days. I must have solved this many years ago during our family trips from Adelaide to the Gold Coast, just in case we were in the area of this geocache.
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I had a trip down the Gold Coast, comprised of geocaching Events, a family catchup, a Wave Break Island kayak paddle, and a Nerang mountain bike session ride.
Today, the morning plan was the [Summer Wave (Break) and Paddle Celebration](https://coord.info/GC8ZDPM) Community Celebration Event. A windy and rough paddle, but otherwise an enjoyable island adventure. We took a couple of stops in Labrador and Southport, before catching up with family in Robina. I then managed to duck out for a few hours to Reedy Creek, Burleigh Waters, and Burleigh Heads, attempting to target oldies such as the *Paradise Series*.
With a string of DNFs following my 7/01/2022 DNF, and the last find on 6/01/2021, there seemed to be a strong suspicion that this cache was indeed missing. We were in the area today, so I thought I'd send a note to the CO, who I don't believe is active too much these days, to see if they were ok if I were to replace the cache upon their behalf. So after parking nearby, it was a quick dart up the hill, and after another unsuccessful, search, we left a painted Eclipse mint tin within a nook of the tree's roots. Refer photograph. Thanks radnoski for the cache placement.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Despite the string of DNF's, we spent a good hour searching for this cache, hoping that those before us had missed something clever, but like those before us, we leave empty handed.
This evening I went for a walk along the huge park here in Southport. After quickly solving this yesterday, I decided to pick it up on my way as it was close by. Arrived at GZ, and searched the obvious structure with my phone torch. After making round after round, I got hands on which was certainly not comfortable. Unfortunately I still couldn’t find the cache. Might be back soon!
Two of us had a good search to no avail. We gave the roots a good search too!
Another time perhaps.
Another time perhaps.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took my visiting family south to the Gold Coast. We firstly stopped at Broadwater Parklands in Southport to have a walk around, seeing the small mangroves patch, rooftop lookout and a few of the other family activities whilst completing the *Broadwater Parkland Stroll* Adventure Lab. After grabbing morning coffees, we had lunch in Robina, and I took the opportunity to find a few geocaches in the area, before departing back home for the day.
I managed to solve this puzzle a few years ago, with a method that I was familiar with.
Today whilst in the area, we walked past GZ where I had a good look. However, I had no luck here after 25 min of searching, making many, many rounds! I must have interrogated everything and I had a feeling what the cache may be, but alas, nothing like that was spotted. Hopefully, the last finder didn’t cram the cache back in, but amazing to think that it was found the previous day, and no find today? Thanks anyway radnoski for the cache placement.

I solved the puzzle and at GZ I had a fair idea what I was looking for but couldn't locate the cache.
This was one of the few puzzle caches we solved before heading up to Queensland for a week. It helped the code was a familiar one and we were able to make the find during the nearby Lab locations. Did a couple loops of GZ looking for a dangling bison and had a "wow" moment when we spotted the camo. That's a great match. TFTC
After missing this the first time, shame on us, we returned and CW spotted the cleverly disguised cache. Nice to have it in hand. Thanks radnoski.
Solved this little puzzle a few weeks ago. Down the coast for a few nights and couldn’t resist claiming the fruits of the solve
Day 1 of our Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise holiday! We left Brisbane early and decided to park at Broadwater for lunch and a bike ride. We rode north to south, and grabbed most of the caches in the park, along with the adventure labs. Some places of the park was busy, and navigating past all the muggles while on 2 wheels was sometimes a challenge. All up it was fabulous weather, great family time, and made many happy memories.
Solved this clever little puzzle last night in between spurts of packing. This cache was found without issue, and both cache and log are in good condition. Extra effort has gone into the outer cache container - both kids were impressed (which is a mean feat!) and I'm throwing in a FP for the enjoyment factor. Thanks for a great little cache

Cockbill Street is a major cross-street street in The Shades, considered to be the poorest area of Ankh-Morpork. It appears to divide the crime-ridden central portion from the merely grubby industrial area rimward. It runs from Pearl Dock towards the Cattle Market, where it diverts to Chittling Street.
Despite being one of the poorest areas in the city, the inhabitants still buy house paint, good funerals and other things that come second place to food. The sad truth is that the people in Cockbill Street believe that it's important to keep up appearances and that buying soap to clean the table is better than buying food to put on it. Most people here have Standards.

I must’ve solved this some time ago. As it was nearby, we headed over. A muggle was sitting only a couple of metres away but had her back to us and took no notice. Quick find. Thanks for the cache
Over at Southport grabbing some newer caches and realized we had somehow missed this one previously. Solved the mystery before we set out so we tied this in with a walk along the parklands after some others. Centred in on GZ and soon spotted the prize. We knew that it would be good and it didn't disappoint. Retrieved and replaced and off to the next TFTC radnoski and a fave point from us for the work.
Had just finished up breaking out of an escape room and was in the mood for some more mystery challenges. This was a fun puzzle and a fun hide!

This was the earliest puzzle caches that I solved quite a few years back. Flying backwards & forwards to boarding school in a Qantas Dc4 I was well aware of the phonetic alphabet. By the time I was 15 I had taught it to myself. This cache is well deserving of a favourite point from me for the puzzle, the hide, and the great sculpture next to the cache. TFTC

I solved this one last night in the hopes that I would have time today to pick it up after a big day out with the family at Movie World.
Thankfully this was a straightforward puzzle for me to solve. There are so many that I just can’t figure out, but this one was right up my alley.
I love the satellite image of the posted coordinates and GZ was an awesome spot too. Wish I could have been here during the day to have a good visit, but I’m sure we will be back again soon enough. Tftc radnoski!!!

What a great cache.
A puzzle that was very easy (I use this every day at work so would be embarrassing if I couldn’t solve it)
A great satellite image.
Jagged a free park out the front.
Kids got to play as well as me at GZ.
And a very clever hide.

Have come back for the third time and have finally found it. And absolutely brilliant hide. The fresh bark made it an interesting Dual.
Don’t know what’s happening at Australia fair, there are police everywhere. Gonna take a long time to go home from here.
Have to put it back in a hurry as a gardener is working close by.

Strong suspicions this one is gone. Messaged the last finder and their tips still lead to no find
Out for a day of caching fun with grannysmith1947 and Brislions. This one has been in my solved pile for several years, but I have not had the opportunity to find it. Today, it was time to change that. I parked the geomobile and we made our way to GZ. There, grannysmith1947 located the cache in a spot I had already checked With our names added to the log and the cache returned to its spot, we continued on our way. TFTC
TFTC smile6449 out and about with Brislions Selva Girls and miss Millie geo dog had a great day very cold ️
Thank you, radnoski, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Out today with grannysmith1947 Selva Girls and Miss Millie. We pick up a few caches today. I grab a few Selva Girls grab a few grannysmith1947 grab a few. We all each help each other with a few different caches.
We finished two Adventure Lab with 10 waypoint, 5 mystery, 2 letterbox, 2 multi, a Wherigo and 10 traditional. We had a great day. So overall 30 finds.
Sorry for the generic log.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC *535* streak. *3167* Finds

After a morning on the jet ski we spent the afternoon walking the dog along the broad water. Picking up as many caches as we could find along the way.
It always stings when you can't find a pre-solved mystery so we looked very hard for this but had to give up.

Thanks for the amazing hide...had to resort to PAF but got there in the end...removed 2 TB and left 2 replacement TB
But if a tricky one to locate at the GZ but got there in the end log signed and everything. Stealth required here. A nice fun puzzle. I live in The Gold Coast Hinterland but am staying in Surfers for 2 weeks so wanted to get a few of these I’ve left behind. I am not disappointed.
Too clever for me, i solved this before my trip to Surfers, and I can see from the photos I was in the right area, but I could not spot the clever hide!
We solved this puzzle from the armchair at home some months ago. Today we have come for a weekend away to the coast and we will try and collect a few of the puzzles we have solved over time. At GZ, we knew we were in the right place however it still took quite some time to find the very sneaky and well camouflaged container.
Another favourite added to this one. Good puzzle and lovely location at GZ.
Thanks

We spent a while looking in the wrong spot here, and it was only when the workings were checked that the eureka moment was had! Once we were at the correct GZ, the cache was quickly found (funny that!). TFTC
Today was supposed to be a lazy Sunday caching down the coast with the new "gender balanced improved" Bromance (with Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and now including JeznDez). With no crazy pre dawn start or stupidly steep hills to be climbed, at a respectable hour we assembled and headed off for a days caching.
We had a previous DNF here a year or so ago.
In hindsight, I believe we had all solved the puzzle a long time ago and the puzzle had subsequently changed, but none of us was bright enough to revisit the puzzle, believing we were looking in the correct location.
Today, we took another look over there under that, then resolved the puzzle for the new location. A short wander and the container was found. I also have a hide in one of these things and was impressed with how the container had been camo'd.
Thanks radnoski

It was nice to turn this frown upside down.
A second attempt for the Bromance here, and after stumbling around and failing to find it, I suggested we should revisit the puzzle. We are unsure how we had the coords wrong, but soon realised it was 'over there'. A short walk and the coords led us to the likely spot. The cache was soon in hand after finding the well cameo's container. Very clever.
Thanks for the fun - have a fave pt.

Today was the first official outing of the new The Bromance V2.0. Caching opportunities for the group have been few and far between recently due to other commitments and clashes of schedule, but a trip down to the Gold Coast for a CITO provided a welcome day out together.
It must have been the addition of a new team member that changed our luck here. After being sprung by a friendly (and helpful) security guard on our last, unsuccessful, visit we set about a new search of the area. With no further luck we decided on a quick resolve of the puzzle. Well our chances would probably be better if we were not some 50m or so away from the real GZ!!
It's amazing the success you get when you look where a cache is actually hidden. In no time at all we had spotted the surprisingly well camouflaged hide. Pleasing to finally sign our names in the logbook for this one. TFTC

The closer we got to the heart of town, the more worried I was about finding a car park. It’s one of the key reasons I dodge the Brisbane and Gold Coast CBDs. Now that I’m what our kids consider “old” I value sipping on a cold Chenin Blanc more than fighting over a car spot.
A hundred metres from GZ there were a million spots available. There were people everywhere but no cars. I couldn’t believe my luck until I saw the paid parking sign and meter. The paid parking was in force on a Saturday and I started penning my letter of complaint to the prime minister in my mind. He was going to get both barrels in a non-confrontational way with perfect grammar and articulation.
I was seriously out to buck the system and so Mrs Woodyrothwell stayed with the car while I went on the hunt. If a parking inspector turned up they were going to see our car disappear in a puff of smoke and I would then use the money saved on a fine to get a taxi back home to Redcliffe. Suckers!
Nice puzzle, location and cache camo and deserves a favourite point. tftc

Solved the puzzle this morning with a hot drink at Pacific fair, caught the tram up to get this find. The Camo was so good that we walked past the location many times before the find. TFTC.
The zip didn't want to close after many, many attempts. Hopefully the inner tube will keep the weather out

Our puzzle solving skills were on point after the Escape Hunt room and we solved this on the fly. The final was wickedly evil in the dark, but ADIs keen eye finally spotted it. That camo is amazing at night in torchlight.
Visiting from cold Geelong, Vic for the week. The kids spotted the inflatable park while driving and made us stop, lol. So I solved this cache in the hope that it was a walkable distance from the park. Loved that I could solve this puzzle. Yay, walkable distance. The cache camo was super cool, well done. Giving it a FP for the puzzle, the very appropriate cache container and lovely green location. Tftc.
Finally a puzzle that didn't have me completely bamboozled, and I didn't have to completely rely on Teazr's brain power . Very pretty spot and I loved the hide container. With those in mind. Have a FB .

Heading south after work the plan was to link up with another interstate cacher but illness and priorities before geocaching meant they had to cancel their trip so this was a solo effort. No problem with the puzzle and an interesting double camo at GZ to make the hide blend in. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
After a geocaching event at t he Helensvale Library, our small team of RoddyC, hatzofff, echocage1 and imbunda set off to find a few wherigo caches and a bit more.

After attending an Event at Helensvale's Library a small group of friends went off in search of some caches and this was one of them. I had solved this one ages ago then I noticed it had changed so put in the too hard basket until I had time to sort it out but life got in the way so today was the day/night to leave my signature. First find on a Mobike caching run from the southern end of Surfers. Yesterday we looked in the wrong place based on the previous puzzle co-ords. Today I headed straight to the correct GZ for an instant find. TFTC radnoski.
Two for the price of one with this one. Wasn’t expecting to find two caches here, but signed both just in case (who knows, we may have just saved some time on a multi!) TFTC!
We spend a few nights on the Gold Coast while the geo kids were enjoying themselves on a camp.
Usually, we struggle a bit with those wordy puzzles but this one was quite straight forward.

Up this end of Australia with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Knowing we would be in the area we sat down and solved this interesting cache. The Supa's had a brief lesson on another kind of alphabet. Thanks
Code was broken the other day, the storm last night stopped me from looking but all good here this morning. However the girl near by is very non responsive. Thanks for this one
This was a code that I have good experience in using having used it in previous jobs. As such it was quickly solved.
The gz took me to a lovely area where I had the place to myself, except for a young girl and her teddy bear, but they were too far awayvto bother me.
The cache was quickly found in the obvious place. Even with its great camouflage
Thanks for the cache radnoski

Had this puzzle in "Solved - To Do" pile for quite some time just waiting for the chance to go find it. Dreadful weather but managed to find it amid the downpours. Thanks for bringing me to this stunning location.
Down from the north of Brisbane to attend a spitting event, or was that an event at the Spit. On the way had targeted a few caches to collect including the animal power run.
Have had this one solved awaiting collection for a while and happy to see that this one hasn't disappeared like a few others in the area. All those brain cells went to waste with those puzzles disappearing . . .
Arrived at the car park just before you had to pay for the privilege. It certainly has been a while since I've been this way. Went past a different type of attraction and plenty of exercising muggles. Did one full circuit of the hide before finding an interesting camo'd container. Thanks for maintaining this puzzle radnoski.

Find number 4272.
A quick find after Mrs Booo quickly worked out the code used. Great location and easy find with a very natural looking camo.
Thanks radnoski for placing this cache.
