There I was thinking a 'Lost Oasis' must be on one of the back streets of Kilsyth but I soon found out that it is on a main road with thousands of people passing it every day. I had never realised the area before probably because there is a two meter high real-estate sign in front of it. After finding GZ we quickly had the cache in hand, only to find a wet piece of paper acting as a temporary log, broken rubber and rusted badge. Luckily I had my diary in the car, I ripped one of the old pieces out and signed that instead of a log, in the car I also had small rubbish bag that I could put all the items in. After a quick maintenance fix up the cache should be all ready to go.

Cache found easily because I did a whole day of caching yesterday where majority of caches were like this! so now i know to look for this type of cache. Needs maintenance as there was no log in it to sign, we left piece of paper in it to show we'd found it. Found with Ozwonderdog.
A nice easy find for me on the way back from breakfast.

Ah the old hidden in an abandoned industrial estate waterfall trick eh? So predictable. TFTC
Found at 2:01 PM GAFF3. Easy to miss this little oasis - had a bit of trouble locating the cache as it was nicely buried!
Thanks StaceV.
Thanks StaceV.
We were nearby looking at back chairs and we decided to add to our tally another cache for the day.
The cache was found easily and i remember this site when it was clean and open.
Our thanks to StaceV for the cache

Out and about caching on a rainy day with lil geokids. Last time I looked for this there was a gardener there and I failed - my excuse anyway. Found but log is wet so put a dry paper in. Will contact CO..
This cache had us stumped when we first looked for it so I turned to the geocaching community on Facebook for a cheat. We looked in the right spot last time but being new to geocaching we had no idea this type of cache existed so we looked straight past it.
The old log is wet and pretty much moulded into the little glass vial. Someone has started a new one on a piece of paper, which we signed at popped into a plastic bag for a bit of protection.
Took the awesome Frankenstein mini figure....so happy with that find!! Left a coin and a soft butterfly. Thank you

Day 19 of the 31 day challenge - I had been here once before at night as a geocaching beginner and had no luck finding - today was a quick find and I signed a wet log book. I was also here as a teenager once apon a time when it was a seim-popular night spot tftc

SOME ASSISTANCE! If you're doing this cache it would be really great if you could place a fresh couple of pieces of paper in it as we don't get down there any more

1830 Km from home on day four of our "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" tour, a trip to the Mornington Peninsular (Vic) for an Ex Army Apprentice reunion.
We took nothing but memories, we left nothing but footprints.
The hide is good, the container is wet and the log is full.
Thanks for the cache StaceV

Out on my first night cache run with TurnerFamilyFTG. A lot of rocks and crevices to search here but made the find after a few minutes. A may have been an oasis at one point in time but not as nice now. TFTC.
Spiffy- and I headed out for a night cache. Yep, someone must have put some effort into this rock pool only to have it fail. Nice cache hide. Simple but clever camo that suits the surrounds. TFTC
Out to grab a few caches early on this glorious Saturday morning.
Seemed just like a tropical island. Nice hide. Log is full.

Our focus for the day was the engagement party event, which I barely made the tail end of... still worth the trip to congratulate the happy couple. Now it was time to see how many more caches I could grab while in the outer Eastern Suburbs for the evening.
This must have been quite the entrance back in the day...
Ignored by the traffic, I was able to make a quick find, and be off down the road in no time. Cheers.

Finally found it. Took me a while in the dark but got it eventually!
No room left in log so I signed a bit of paper and left it in the Cache.
Great hide defiantly recommend for night a Cache.

We dropped by here after a scrumptious lunch at a nursery/cafe in Montrose. We parked in the nearby carpark and wandered over to GZ. Being a public holiday weekend (Australia Day), the nearby businesses were closed so there weren't any muggles about, just lots of passing traffic. The GPSr jumped around a bit but thanks to the hint, and that I'd seen several containers of this type recently, I spotted the cache easily, retrieved it and then signed the log at 3:45pm. TNLN.
Thanks StaceV for the bold and well-camo'd hide. I'm glad I came at a quiet time as I imagine it's muggle central most other times.

Ha ha good little hide, I looked at it in its camo a few times before it clicked. TFTC
My second go at this one. As happens so often, after spending a goodly amount of time on the DNF, this time it took less than a minute! And it isn't that hard- you just have to be in the right place.
Bit of a ninja find at night this one. In fact I recommend going for this at night to make it easier to hide. If I saw someone in here (and wasn't a cacher) I'd probebly think they're a bit special lol. Cool little hiding spot though. TFTC - Heno
Know the area pretty well I came back again cause the pen didnt work haha.
Really cool cache! Love it.

This was the second of three StaceV caches tonight.

I thoroughly checked out that righthand pool and can guaranty that the cache is not there! Thanks StaceV.
Found on the way home from a family gathering way out east. Clambered over the rock pools for a while before spotting the hide at 6:35pm.
thanks StaceV

Found @ 17:40 while out caching this area tonight. Took a little while to find but spotted something I'd seen before that just looked a little different. TFTC SL
Parked off the main road but close by the GZ, geo son quickly spotted the container and we promptly, well I did, signed the log. Thanks StaceV for the cache.

Poker tonight is at bergersau's place so CamBendy, PKK... and I decided to cache our way home. This was no. 4 for the trip. CamBendy made the find on this one. I cannot think of a PT history story for this cache ... sadly. TFTC.

Can not believe that this was so difficult on two previous visits - probably because the description implies a larger, different type of container. TFTC.
Not sure what was here in the past, as long as I remember it was just cycling through random clearance places. A fairly quick find by the Moose. Thanks for the cache.
Good little cache
But I don't think the previous finders actually put it back in the right spot as it was a little way from the coordinates, but with a little searching it's easy enough to find. We put it back where we found it
Found with Nen9

Found 14:35, we found the cache lying out in the open, and were planing to leave the cache as we found it, but as we were about to leave spotted the camo devise and returned the cache to what we presume was it's proper location.
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks StaceV.

Found it after a short search. As with Bounty Trackers, I was unable to sign the log.

After finishing my job in Mt Evelyn I decided to grab some more caches on my way home before it started to rain. Log was unsignable so took a photo instead. Thanks StaceV for the cache.
Following on from last weekend, we came back for another of stacevs hides. Under cover of the geo kids playing on the rocks, we made the find. Tftc. and happy birthday
This was our first Geocache... Wife and I went out for a walk and was guided by the GPS to the cache. We took some time to find it... then heard my wife call out "I found it...!!" Very nicely hidden well done.
Think the cache pen will need replacing, but we had taken our own to write.

Found after an extensive search in all the wrong areas. Spotted in a spot I hadn't noticed earlier. great hide. we used to frequent this spot prior to his fiery end. TFTC
This took far too long, as I was literal with the hint.
After expanding the search a fraction, it was seen immediately.
Thanks agin StaceV for the cache, and the story
