iPhone said I was at GZ and I thought I had the obvious hide but it was full of rubbish pushed down it. If this is the hide it may well have been removed when council guys tidy up.
Snookered by 'irrigation' workers who had closed off the path and were digging up the ground right on top of GZ! Perhaps another day? TFTC
Did not find! We really had no clue where to search anymore. After half an hour, with assistance of a colleague cacher, we finally gave up on it.
Is the cache still there? Or did we miss out on anything?

Went with millsy031 who had found this one previously. Plenty of muggles, so we couldn't have a decent look. Will try again another day.
4 Maart 2014 15:01 wizard4u TFTC: a bit busy here and not easy to find, thanx from holland
On a business trip to Melbourne I had the chance to look for some geocaches.
After a short search I could find the box.
TFTC and best regards from Andi_26 from Ludwigsburg/Germany

Found quite easily although had to be very careful of the many many muggles on this beautiful day. TFTC
Missed out on searching for this one. Phone went flat whilst searching for it's sibling so I had to just pass on by. I'll be back!
What lovely weather for a caching stroll along the river and what an opportunist hide for this little cache once you have discarded the obvious there could only be one place to look and bingo TFTF Chingola
I had the gps mounted to the front of my bike and while riding home from work tonight this cache popped up. It is so close to work yet i had overlooked it for some reason.
An easy enough find though so many people around. It took a bit of fiddling with my bag and bike to retrieve the cache without anyone noticing.

Found it! Not too long a search, a few hints from previous finds definitely lead us on the right track. Need to look past the obvious location!
A quick find on a lovely evening. Lots of ducks, rowers, and a bit of smoke from the bush fires. My third find in Australia
Found by Ewilund! Thanks for the cache and greetings from France!

TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity.
Nice walk along the Yarra today after the heat wave of the week just gone. Found with Penpolpals from the UK
A quick walkby. I was out early grabbing a few caches along the river before breakfast.

TFTC. Found during a one day business trip to Melbourne. Thankfully the meeting finished early and allowed me some geocaching time before hopping back across the Tasman.
Found this one today. I had been in the city today and wanted to clear a few caches down Bayside and also to see if I could finish off this series which I have been working my way through slowly for a while. This one was in the obvious place but I had to wait for muggles: walking, driving and in the ferry to get this one and to return it to its hide afterwards. Signed log but didn't swap anything.
I also tried the nearby one of these caches but some very inconsiderate muggles were seated at the nearby picnic table (every other one was free!!!) so I left it for another day.
Thanks for the cache Combust4 - almost finished the series now.

Quick find, but had to wait for the biking/powerwalking traffic to settle down before I could log the cache.
Hahaha, first time I encountered this kind of hide. Wondered shortly where on earth could a mint box be hiiden around the GZ my GPS pointed me to, since the seemingly only possible structure did not hold it. Then I realised.... cold it be?..... yes, there it is! Looking around after this find I guess you might have more of these around here in Melbourne. But this - erm - hiding feature simply doesn't exist at my so far usual caching grounds in Singapore
#975: 28-Dec-2013 18:22 QEF at close of play on the third day of the fourth Ashes test. TFTC.
Found while on our way to the Botanical gardens fro the CBD. Glad PF was with me, he's taller and braver when looking for caches where spiders may lurk! TFTC
Quick find today after the cricket. Tried this one about a year ago, more luck today. Tftc
Found today with Mitchelltwo. A few more caches grabbed today and once at gz the cache was soon found. Tftc
Tonight we took our annual trip into the city with the kids to see the christmas lights and decorations around the city centre. Since the weather was nice,we decided to do a bit of caching as well. It was really nice wandering along the river this late at night, with the city lights in view. Geodad found this one after a short time looking.

Found during our trip to Melbourne for the week. Thanks for the cache Combust4!
As others already stated the container is broken. The top is missing. Please replace.
Thanks,

I was having one of my occasional visits to the City today for work and decided to head out for a walk at lunch time and, hopefully, a cache. It was good to get away from the worst of the hustle and bustle of the CBD although it was still rather hectic.
As I approached the indicated GZ, I saw a location that looked a definite possibility. Not being vertically challenged, I was able to peer in and see the cache. With no muggles in the immediate vicinity I was able to make a quick grab for the cache. It was then I discovered I had a problem...no pen. I had left it on my desk. I know that I am meant to sign the log but hopefully the CO will accept photo evidence instead.
Thanks Combust4 for the cache, quite an opportune little hide.

Easy find, in the first place I looked had to be careful of all the muggles.
First find on our Melbourne visit. When logged - our Southernmost find! TFTC!

Found it and added some more paper in for logs. Probably needs replacing as it has no lid.
TFTC. Though it might need to be changed. The tin is broken and the log is full... And a little mouldy.

this is my third find today and also my third in Australia . We like Melbourne very much! It is very international and the Australian people are so friendly and nice!
We could find the container very fast. Unfortunately the cap of the container is missing. We put it back into its hiding place in such a way that the logbook won't get wet if it rains.
Thanks for the cache. Nice greetings from Munich in Germany
OUT: Trackable GC (to Brisbane)

I found this cache with a couple of workmates on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. It took us a bit to find it. The cache is missing a lid. Thanks for the hide.
On a solo adventure from Mt. Waverley to the city today. The last of the Rail Rides I managed to find for today - I shall return and have a goosey for the rest eventually, but for now, this will do. Capped off a good day for me to find this one, and in particular to find it during peak muggle time without arousing any suspicion! Cheers!
Last cache out of five that I could find and log during this morning's jogging round through central Melbourne, TFTC.
Unfortunately the cover lid is missing, and the log stripe is slightly wet, and in general in quite a bad condition. A maintenance visit wouldn't be bad...

There were a lot of people around here today as there was a big bicycle race on, and the cache was hidden next to the Bupa finish line. Luckily it faced away from everything and Mr Squalid was able to discreetly grab it, log it and return it. A beautiful day for caching, and a great spot. Thanks for the cache.
On the way along the yarra i found lot of nice things, among others this cache. Found it mugglefree, thanks for hiding
Quick find but difficult retrieve. Really tight position but finally out. Log still needs replacing. Lid gone from container. TFTC
It was hard on a wet day. Spent a fair bit of time to search for it. Found ti finally.
