Much unloved. Very surprising. I had never explored this area before. It's absolutely amazing and more than worth a visit, or several. Cache was laying uncovered mid walking track. Rehidden properly. Thanks for bringing is here RebornCyclistFave from me.
Thanks to S_38, who solved the puzzle, I was introduced to an area I would not know about for years to come. How many favourite points can I give? Initially, we planned on just getting to the cache, but the intriguing landscape with massive ferns, caves and rock formations made us explore further! Absolutely loved it! Thanks
The puzzle was dealt with rather swiftly some time ago. When in the area recently i was scoping out ways to access this cache. Today, with a little bit of daylight left i made a quick journey down to see the hide (well it was quite obvious from the direction of my approach). It looks like a few finders weren't geocachers but certainly artists lol.

Today we decided to head to Blackmans Bay - Snug and surrounds to find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
Having previously solved this puzzle we made our way to the parking spot that we found on google earth. Yep down there, so we made our way down and along the track to GZ. A tricky hide, took some time but got there in the end. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I don't really geocache much any more. For a good while I was running a dog twice a week while his owner was away and he was being minded by a non-runner nearby. He's now back with his owner at Blackmans Bay, but you cant keep a good team down, and I've been able to take him out for an explore occasionally in that area! Lovely big circuit today and heading along the track I just spotted a corner of it in its hiding spot by accident. Haha - Reborn Cyclist and his cursed puzzles, one that i would probably never have solved! Ages since I've signed a log - thanks RBC I loved that track.
After a week in Tasmania, and spending a few days on Bruny Island, it was time to make my way back to catch my flight home to Adelaide.
I had targeted a few caches along the way including some solved Mystery caches, Multis, Traditionals, a Letterbox and some Lab caches.
This was another puzzle that had me stumped for years. Eventually I got a small hint, but even then it still took me quite a bit of work to finally sort out. Today I made the short trek to GZ and the cachewas found in the second place I looked. The container and contents are in good condition.
Thanks RebornCyclist for the puzzle and the cache.

out and about the Rafas caching on a beautiful march day, the co ords were worked out by my partner and the cache was found by both of us, a simple find after a small walk, TFTC TNLN log dry.
Hi RebornCyclist, thanks for the puzzle.
I've been geocaching for a while now, and every now and then I'll refer to a previous log of mine, maybe to see if what I wrote triggers a memory to help a fellow geocacher that is seraching for the cache, or maybe just trying to remember when I found a particular cache. Whe I reread these logs, I'll often see other comments that trigger another memory - who I was caching with that day, what I saw (birds, snakes, echidnas, yachts sailing up the river, a dolphin swimming along parallel with the beach), a particular event that happened that made me laugh hysterically, or what my dog did.
In my logs for today, I wanted to note that right now life is pretty scary - for the whole world - due to the virus Covid-19. The current direction from our state government here in Tasmania, is that as of 6pm yesterday, we are not allowed to congregate in public or private places in groups of more than 10 people, and that we must maintain social distancing between people of 1.5m at all times, and only undertake essential travel. We are allowed to still go out and exercise, and walk the dog, and do our groceries, put fuel in our cars, and make any other essential trips to pharmacies, work, seek medical attention etc. So where does geocaching fit in to this? - well, it doesn't, to just go out and go geocaching, falls into the 'not essential travel' category. However, it does fall under the exercise category; so today RLD4963 and I headed out with the GeoGSP for one trip - doing all we needed to do, taking the GeoGSP along for the ride so he could get his daily exercise as well.
I solved this one a while ago, but it took a few attempts. I had to get a little nudge from a previous finder just to get those coords to give me the green light. It was nice to finally turn this one into a smiley. An area I did not know about, and not known about by many people at all, no sign of any muggles today. A quick find at GZ and a favourite from me.

Off track little bushes to GZ, took me looked for 15mins, finally spot, about 5mts off from GZ..
Anyway
Signed in with good dry..

Had no idea what to do with this puzzle but fortunately our geo-buddy Jo loves puzzle solving.

TaurusSix and I had earmarked this cache for this afternoon. After the bonus cache earlier this was now our final cache for the day.
Just found this cache by accident! Probably the only mystery cache I'll ever find, I'm not good with puzzles (lol) TFTC!
I’ve removed the socks and hanky, and rebuilt the hide in its original form (minus the camo bag which has gone walkies at some point).
All good to go.
All good to go.
This took a while. We pored over this puzzle for ages and everything we tried didn't appear to work. After talking to a fellow cacher, they gave us the slightest of hints and we went back to basics and there was the answer.
Today was the day that we went for the find. A beautiful day and a track we had never walked before. Easy find but cache was a mess. Lid was open and contents strewn around including a pair of socks and a hankie!? We tidied it all up, signed the log which was dry and placed it where we thought it should be. Nice to find this as it is one of our last few in the wider Kingston region. TFTC

RebornCyclist thank you for the cache.
I had solved this puzzle a very long time ago.
This afternoon I went to have a look for it but the GPS wanted to take me into the middle of a hay paddock. I phoned a friend who gave me a hit to were to find it while he went to find the cords.
I managed to find the cache before he got back with the information.
Once back at the pub before a night out I spotted that I had entered the cords wrong by transposing two digits.

Peter told Barad Bunch that we were going to look for his Smelly Pot cache and he suggested trying to solve Back to Basics as it was not unlike one of his that we had collected. Mind you Peter had to have a lot of hints for the Barad one before finally solving it. This also caused a few head scratchings before running through several options before one that matched the needed S and E was found.

It had been a long time since we drove around the point from Tinderbox to Howden and were surprised by all the houses, some quite high uphill. One cache took longer than anticipated and we didn’t actually find it either, which caused our plan for the day to be curtailed.

Hi RC. Thanks for bringing us to this area; once I sorted out those pesky decimals! Enjoyed the walk; we entered opposite a side street, managed a circuit and exited along our entrance. Cache was a bit exposed, (hope it was in the right spot) so tried to conceal it a little better after signing the log.
Thanks for the puzzle, cache, and the enjoyable walk.

(579) I startled a few marsupials as I headed off to collect this one. They were a little smaller than the ones I often see in the ACT. Anyway, at GZ the cache was exposed, so after signing I put it in the obvious hiding spot.
The solve: As I have previously solved one just like this, I was frustrated that the checker didn't give me a green light. Then I saw that I was inputting one digit incorrectly. n00b error!

Thanks Reborn Cyclist for a fun adventure.

This was to be out puzzle cache for the 'road trip' but we managed one closer to home last week. Still wanting to do this one, we met the bear (of smiley_bear) nearby and made it a team effort. We made a bit of a round trip, me having found a dry but overgrowth path in, the bear then led us out on a well formed but very muddy path. Whilst the bear and I searched high and low, the egg came from behind (treading carefully with her recovering ankle) and found the clever hide almost immediately. It needed a womans touch! A favourite from us for the construction of this puzzle and the hide in a place we had not been before. TFTC
While the Bear was down this way grabbing another cache to get a souvenir he met up with the Goose and Egg family who were down this way on a family excursion. I had solved this one recently knowing I'd be heading to this area. We managed a roundtrip walk with the return journey on a slippery but more defined track. At GZ we all dived in to possible hiding places whilst the Egg sat back and observed the area before making a very good find. A great puzzle and hiding spot. TFTC.
This was another puzzle that I solved ages ago, a couple of years if I remember right and today I felt like a bit of a clean up so headed out this was to doing the mopping up.
Well looking at the map it was just a matter of parking up and walking the short distance to the cache but I found that I couldn't find a away in that is until I spotted one and then two paths that looked to take me the correct way.
So I headed down one of these and after thinking this is going take me too far it worked out ever so nicely, as I grabbed the cache I had a big smile on my ugly mug due to the audacity of the hide.
The cache is in good condition and I soon had it back in its hide. It was a quick walk back to the car introducing me to more of this area.
Thanks for the cache.

Had planned a full day's caching in the area today but the less than pleasant weather rather reduced our aims. Had worked on this puzzle several times but needed a nudge from the CO that we were heading in the right direction (thanks Reborn). Still had to push ourselves further to get an absolute "yes" but love the way the checker has been used to move the solution forward.
Tracked down to the cache today. Once close was worried that a certain type of hide was being used and spent sometime looking in that area. Then stopped and looked around using geo-knowledge and immediately moved to the correct site to locate the cache.
TFTC , the puzzle and the nudge.

Another lesson was gained with this one but a worthy one at that. Trekked in to GZ today, and made a quick find. Thanks for the lesson, and the cache.
Slowly learning some more about puzzle solving. Nice little walk in to an area I hadn't been before. Great camo! TFTC
The cache is fine and in place.
A warning to puzzle solvers - if you're going to ask another finder for the coords, make sure the cache hasn't moved since they found it!

Now this is a very sorry log ! When this one came out, Mr red tag went nuts overcomplicating things trying to solve it, until in a moment of clarity, that elegant solution was discovered - success !
That was an embarrassingly long time ago, and then recently the red tag boys went and found the cache (lovely walk, perfect coordinates) but forgot to log, so this is a belated log as well !
All of that does not take away from the great puzzle, and wonderful cache !
Thanks so much for the cache and puzzle, RebornCyclist !

A dark and overcast day did not help with the GPS down here so we may have to come back and have another go at locating this one.
After solving this puzzle quite some time ago (like just after it was published maybe), I've had the corrected coords in GSAK just waiting for the day when I was in the area. That didn't happen so I made a concerted effort to find the access and hence the cache.
I'm so glad that the Swampy caching habit didn't kick in when I got to the end of the fence, otherwise I'd still be fighting my way through!
Spotted the hide about 4m away from it. TNLN, thanks Reborn (you crazy biker madman!)

I rode round most of the way to GZ.
The area is much much drier than when I placed the cache, but still pretty.
All good with the cache.

This puzzle really had me stumped, so I eventually resorted to asking the CO for a nudge in the right direction. This was promptly provided, and then it became obvious that what I needed was staring me right in the face all along, only I had neglected to pay attention. From here it didn't take very long to convert the coordinates into a format that made more sense. I headed out to find the cache this afternoon and enjoyed the walk along the trail. Cache located, log signed, and I was on my way. Thanks for the help Reborn
Puzzle solved a few nights ago. Set off armed with a tip from a local regarding the possible route. I followed her instructions and realised I could have done better. I had never been here before - not very familiar with area in general. No problem with the find. TNLN Thanks for the cache!
Had a learning curve since first puzzle tackled but cracked it. Next time I will use more than pen and paper. Picked up my first Geocoin.
Finally got there. I Have been staring at this puzzle for months and despite a clue from the reborn cyclists I still came up blank. Last night I finally had the epiphany I needed and after a few wrong attempts on the geochecker I got the correct answer. First chance had i went searching. After a i pleasant walk in twilight conditions I managed to find the cache with ease. I took travel jeep. Hopefully I can solve more puzzles.
Another RebornCyclist Puzzle completed today. 2 in one day, we are going well. This was also in a place we have never been before. Left Morlee Jeep TB and geocoin. TFTC.
The RC (southern) puzzles were solved a while ago and today was the day to do the field work and locate them. (It was useful to be able to check the coordinates.)
This one was second. The location was excellent - an oasis of tranquility. Although the vegetation was wet from recent rains, various birds were chirping away. We managed to successfully bypass the slippery bit (near the old site) and find the cache quickly enough. We then succumbed to the attractions of the site and explored it more fully before returning to the car. Thanks for the enjoyable puzzle RebornCyclist and thanks also to the people (Landcare?) who obviously maintain the area. TNLN.

Ah man. Looks like I have completely lost my caching mojo (that's if I ever had any in the first place). I had solved a slew of puzzles some time back, and being remarkably dense, sallied forth to find this cache today, along with a heap of others I had solved without first checking if any had been a) archived or b) updated.
Driving to within 180m of the cache, I found a lovely looking track between houses, so I headed down and photographed the flowers on my way. Watched the birds, startled a wallaby, enjoyed the sun and serenity and fresh air. What a great start to my caching day! Got to GZ, saw where I would hide if I was a cache, took one step, and managed to slide, wrench my already tender knee, then roll the rest of the way down until I landed with a thump at the base of a stump.
I discovered to my horror that the stump was empty, and there were scars of slippings past etched into the mossy bank. So I phoned the Pig, and was told that everyone slipped there, and I should have read the cache logs before i'd set off because the hide had been moved to protect the flora. Sorry flora [B)]
So I asked nicely if the Pig would decode the new GZ for me, which he did, but I think if I had just limped along a bit further I would have found it without coordinates. Perfect little hidey spot! No chance of flora being wrecked here! Unfortunately, no one had warned the fauna of my approach, and upon reaching for the cache, managed to spear a huge slug onto the end of my fingernail.
After signing the log and rehiding the cache and apologising to the slug, I made my way slowly back to the car where I decided that since I was covered in mud, scratches, slug slime and had a hurty knee, I might as well just go home. So I did. So much for my day of caching. Luckily I loved this cache, so it gets a favourite point (lovely walk in lovely bush, just corrupted by a seriously inept cacher). Thanks Reborn! Glad you un-archived it

We were pleased that we quickly identified a successful approach to this puzzle. We appreciated being able to check the coordinates before coming south. When we went to look for the cache the hardest part was looking for the best way to gain access without going onto private land. The sign at the entrance to the public land was obscured by foliage. Once we got on the right path, it was straightforward to get to GZ where a quick find was made. Thanks for another interesting and enjoyable puzzle and for the cache RebornCyclist.

Hi Reborn
After cooking breakfast for 40 to 50 people at the Fox and Hounds, we decided to attend a Grand Final Party at Kingston run by red tag. Wanted to watch the Cats do over that other side and as it turned out they did!!
Arrived at Kingston and before the party this cache beckoned and had to be found before attending said function.
Dressed in fairly good clobber, I was determined to not get dirty in the effort of logging this cache.
Arrived in the appropriate street and found the access to the strike zone and proceeded down the path to GZ.
The GPS was a bit fuzzy in this area so a small search soon had me realising the hide position. Walking down to it, still clean and wearing the wrong type of footwear, OldSaint slips on some moss and arse over tit he goes and lands in a patch of mud. Backside covered in mud!!!
Anyway, the extraction, signing of log and replacement took place at 1328hrs.
Back up the track to the cache mobile where Annie laughed her head off when she saw my rear end!!
Thanks for the cache, the fun of the search and to all who helped me have a great day today, especially the Geelong football side, I say thank you.
Cheers OldSaint.

Since 4 out of the 5 finders have fallen over, I need to relocate this so the area doesn't get too damaged. The puzzle will change slightly, so if you've got the current listing, make sure you get the latest before heading out.
After inspecting the damage at GZ, I've decided to move the cache to a less sensitive spot.
The cache has now been replaced, and the listing and checker updated.
Go for it!

Solved this one not long after it came out but haven't been down this way to retrieve it until today. Came down to the area to nab the Chess cache and headed on a little further to this one. Nice puzzle and nice walk in an area we haven't been before. Went for a little slip and slide and ended up looking like a turtle laying on my backpack (the girl half that is) but found the cache. Thanks RebornCyclist, TFTC.
Thanks reborncyclist for the hint to set me in the right direction. After reading the previous logs I made sure I followed the track and was very careful not to slip as it had just rained(thanks budgietas). Got to within 8metres on the track and stopped, looked around an spotted the cache thanks to the photo attached to the geochecker. Another spot you would never known existed until you go hunting a cache. Great spot to walk a dog. TFTC.
Well this cache puzzle had me stumped for a while. The solution that immediately hit me was the wrong number. Anyway a small hint from Chessy to simply search on what was a point I had already picked up led me immediately to a solution. Thank you reborn for the hint in the checker when slight mistake was made. Anyway a quick excel spreadsheet and sorted the coordinates. Finding the cache was more difficult. The slope made a difficult walk and as normal I walked across country and followed the track out. Found where cheesy had slipped in getting the cache and managed still to slip on the same spot. Found the cache and signed the log. Thank you for the cache reborn cyclist. Very good
Ftf to the cheesy pigs yay!!! After banging my head against a wall looking at chess I got notification of this new cache. Solved it raced out, searched the area got yelled at by a home owner came back home and saw the geochecker. Close but no cigar. I sent an email to the owner asking about one point of the puzzle but before he replied I happened on the solution. Raced back out and now am proudly holding an ftf pin. Thanks for the cache reborn
