Out with wilbywarrior today. He suggested we stop to have a look for this archived one. Quickly found as it started hailing again. Tftc
Was interested to know if this was still here so stopped by for a look on the way back from the Albatross centre with indiboo. Wasn't too many spots to hide and soon found it partially buried. Cache in excellent condition after nearly 3 years since the last find. Started hailing again as we were signing the log so didn't linger much longer! Tftc.
Getting a little too chilly to search for too long. Had a decent look but no luck today
Is it always this windy up in the Peninsula? Anyway, the place is well worth a stop as it was where we got our first glance of the southern side of the Peninsula. I dashed up to the cache site, and promptly searched the obvious places, only to find it in the less obvious spot. Lovely views from here too. TFTC!

A quick find as we strolled towards the start of the Paradise/Buskin tracks. Plenty of photo ops with the friendly neighbours in the nearby paddocks! TFTC.
One of eight in the Dunedin/Otago Peninsula area today. After enjoying a visit to Lanarch Castle, found this cache on our way ‘home’. Made rather hard work of this one, thinking the barrier played a part in it somehow. Took considerably longer than it should have! #1479. TFTC.
Off the Golden Princess and we hired a car to get around to do as many caches as possible before we need to be back onboard. Find #16 for the day. An easy find and a great view.
Thanks for the fun
Thanks for the fun
Number 16 of 34 found around the area today whilst on a day caching off the beautiful Golden Princess and number 16 of 76 found in our 6 days caching around NZ.
We had hired a car for the day today and travelled from Port Chalmers, to Dunedin and out to Larnach Castle, caching our way there and back.
This was a nice easy find and another great view!
Thanks for the cache.
G'day from Australia!

Yippee!! After a couple of dnfs today found this one in a few minutes after short walk from parking spot. Tftc!
Found just before our thrilling descent (bike) back to Otago. Visiting from USA. Going back in two days, so this was one of our last outings, a really good one. Took about 2-3 minutes, because, at first I thought it was one kind of setting, but it turned out different. Thanks!
There was no snow today, which I would have thought beautiful. However, the whole area was beautiful. Thank s for the cache that made me stop at this location. - Zeke & George of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA
Mr b went and grabbed this one. sure is windy. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc Hinemoana. Find # 3767
Found with Hevic just as the snow started to arrive. Hevic frolicked in and photographed the snow while I grabbed the container - seems I don't find snow nearly as fun or romantic as most folks do. Cache is in good nick and I did my best to keep the snow away. Cheers!
I went to pick this up and it was covered with about three dozen woodlice!!!!
Cache in good condition though - no worries! TFTC!

I can understand why this one doesn't have too many visitors. We parked further down and walked up for a quick find...and a nice view-thanks.
After walking the Paradiese track we walked along the street back to the car and found the Cache. Thanks
Our first one today on our way to see the Penguins. It was a beautiful spot and of course worth a lot of pictures. Thank you for stopping us there!
First day in New Zealand! Visiting from BC, Canada. Decided to drive down the peninsula this evening and the views were stunning. Thanks for the hide! Dropped off a trackable that likes to hide in rural caches.
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
Greetings from Carinthia/Austria.

It is a nice spot for a foto. We found the box with the hint. Thanks for the cache
It certainly lived up to its name today. Still some snow lying around from the weekend storm.
Wasn't too bad up here for this time of year and after a brief search the cache was located. The Garmin makes a good impromptu 'camera' for allaying the suspicions of passing muggles - probably should have brought the real camera for this one... TFTC Hinemoana.
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our trip to the Otago Peninsula and Taiaroa Head. We had a lot of nice views from several places and ... good caches! A 'fave' added.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

Down in DUNEDIN with my lovely muggle wife Stella, celebrating 20 years together. Forcibly dragging her around to pick up caches.
15 degrees but blowing a chilly gale. Sometimes the GPS can be a hindrance. Clue helped.
Find #1153. Thank you very much for the cache. 8/03/2015 14:46

You're not kidding about a windy photo stop, but I got some great photos. Great spot. TFTC
Found this with swollibman on a geocaching day out on the peninsula, with a lot of finds. This was a nice conclusion of this nice day. Thanks for the cache
The last cache on our day walk around the peninsula. I think we found 20 caches in eight hours or so. The weather was perfect by the time we ambled to this one and thankfully didn't take too long to find as we were getting a bit tired and starting to lose our Geocaching enthusiasm by this point. Thanks a lot for placing it hinemoana
Not a great day to be cruising around the peninsula with it being cold, windy and with occasional showers. Had to walk back from the parked car and a short search later found the cache not where I first expected but a good spot never the less. TFTC
I will replace and re-enable the cache as soon as the roadworks are finished, thank you for your patience.
Looks like there are some road works in the area - thanks CC for the heads up! Disabling until work finished and cache back in place.
Wasn't too much of a view, only clouds visible and it was really cold today. Quite a few log books.
TFTC!

Found this one during our month long campervan/"Road trip" vacation in New Zealand. It was a wonderful experience driving around this beaurtiful country.
This one was found on a day driving from Te Anau to Portobello (Otago Peninsula)
Thanks to Hinemoana.

Sure was today, particularly I stated on the wrong side of the road (easier walking there). Easy find once my Garmin had decided that it really was on the other side of the road.

Quick find with GPYess on a visit to Dunedin from Christchurch. GPYess founds this one first. TFTC!
Yes, very windy today. We just had to hike a little bit down the road to get back to the car, and almost got blown away! Thanks for the cache along this stretch.
