Looks like this one was stolen as well. Had a very good look around for it today in case it wasn't put back in the right place but no joy.

06-Jan-13
This hasn't been here for over 2 months. One typically doesn't read the logs until AFTER having failed to locate the cache in order to get some clues or spoilers... Disappointing it's just in limbo!! Sad

09-Dec-12
Checked today and couldn't find. Park staff very disappointed as they enjoyed having this and my multi here and grinning knowingly at each other seeing people walking around with mobiles and GPS's. Will go back and have a more in-depth look possibly tomorrow as ran out of time today.

05-Dec-12
Found what appeared to be an obvious location (photographed earlier in log) but searched did not turn up any cache.

The first of 2 DNF's today and in this park. Sad I looked at everything I thought could possibly be the hide, but without disturbing things that really shouldn't be disturbed, I came up empty handed. Sad
The grass near GZ has been mown recently. I hope the cache is still there.

03-Oct-12
It had us stumped... Other cachers turned up while we were looking so we joined forces. With four adults, one child and two GPS units we still could not find it. Thought maybe it had been muggled but with it being found yesterday seems unlikely. We must all have been having an off day...

Will try again later and make a day of the area...

I have a premium membership now! Hurray for birthdays! Unfortunately there was something wrong with the ute, so we didn't go for as many we had planned. day1976 however was determined I would spend my 13th caching, so I brought along my NEW sonic screwdriver along for some serious finding!

A satisfying cache for a beautiful day - cool logbook case by the way!

So geostepdaughter got a premium membership today for her birthday. Happy 13th geostepdaughter! Unfortunately, mum needed her car today and the ute was in for some urgent maintenance on the transmission, so we were never going to be able to complete a lot of caches on her birthday, but we did manage to get a couple of the local Berwick caches before the ute was ready and a Team Crackers multi on the way home before geostepdaughter placed her first cache in the afternoon. Hopefully it will be published in the next few days.

This was a nice simple cache to find. By the time I had turned the GPS on and it had found the satelites, we had walked past GZ. We over thought the hide for a little bit before spotting the object that is just not quite right! Nice spot for a cache!

Our first cach. Easy to find. Big Grin

This turned out to be a nice little hunt with the kids and an introduction to this type of cache for them. Will have to come back when we have more time, to do the multi in the park proper.

Found @1625 #1828
Out on a sunday arvo cache run as I had a square to fill and to focus on cleaning the map of some caches still remaining in the area.

Well I didn't have much luck with the multi near by, just too many muggles for a proper search so left defeated and decided to try this one. A nice hide and it took me a few minutes to spot the clever hide. TFTC Maggies lens

Find # 1805

After a late night last night, I had a bit of a late start for my planned mini cache run to the Narre Warren and Berwick area. It was quite an overcast day, but no real threat of rain which kept me happy. Very Happy

After a DNF at the nearby Wilsons Multi due to a large amount of volunteer workers all around the park, I headed towards this one. I had seen this type of hide a few times before, bit it always takes me a few minutes to realise. [^]

Thanks to Maggies lens for the cache. TNLN.

Cool

We have not done much caching this year but we knew we had to find one on the 29th Feb and this one was one of our closest unfound caches. After viewing this cache on Google maps we knew where to go and so it was an easy find. We will come back on a nice sunny afternoon to do the multi as well.
It was nice to meet you and the golden dogs in the park the other week as well.
Thanks Maggies lens for our leap year cache.

26-Feb-12
I found this cache today at 2:00pm in company of Pprass as the 6th of 13 on our hot and humid afternoon of geocaching. ...and our 7th cache find in Wilsons Botanic Park just a few minutes later. Thanks from D B-A.

26-Feb-12
Found at 1.55pm GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto. This cache wasn't in my GPSr for some unknown reason so Rabbitto loaned me his spare Garmin 60C which promptly put me 15 metres away from where he started searching - hmmm - is this a set up or what? However as the co-ords for the Wilson's Multi were out by about 7 metres, I conceded that this one could be out as well - however how come Rabbitto went straight over to where the cache was?
Thanks Maggies_lens.

03-Feb-12
We haven't seen one like before. Tftc

25-Nov-11
Out and about on a sunny Friday with a bit of time on our hands which makes a nice change from the last few days where my cache for the day has been snatched in between meetings, functions and interviews. EB99 made this find as although I wasn't at work today, work found me. I was on the phone the whole time! A lovely spot on a sunny morning. TFTC

With the dinner event complete and a full tummy, it was time to grab a couple of nearby caches before the evening 11.11.11.11 event to be held in a nearby park. With Spladen to keep me company we made our way to the park entrance, made our way in and were soon at GZ. A quick hunt around and the cache was found and the log signed.
Thanks Maggies lens.

Found @ 9:55pm. find # 1111
While in the area for the event, I went for a look at this one before hand.
I made my way to GZ and spotted a likely spot for the hide and the cache was quickly found.
Thanks to Maggies lens for this cache.

Only my second time to what really is a delightful park. Cache was found easily, which left me some time to explore the park a little, thanks Maggies_lens. Took the Geocoin to move it along.

Running a bit later than expected to pick up PrincessDiala for the 11.11.11 events, we decided to grab a sneaky find, before heading for the Pre Event Dinner.

Went up and took a U turn at the Wilson's parking area, coming back to find The Walenators, who had just found it, there about to leave.

We dashed over and didn't take too long to find the cache!!

01-11 1st find of the day at 12:17 and 1347th find in total.
After a day of a few Munzee finds and a few areas with too many watchers it was good to finally get a caching find under our belt.
Bit of a strange place for a hide but we'll take it, it should last where it is.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks Maggies_lens for the caching fun!

Our big plans for a long caching run out west were squashed by cold weather and, on occasions, driving rain. Jsmyong55 suggested we head south, which we started to do, but eventually headed out east to clean up a few undiscovered caches out that way as far as Pakenham. There were times during the night when we questioned why we were playing this game in the poor weather, but a bag of about 25 caches was pleasing enough given the conditions. We decided to stop early; well at least I did before I pushed J to the limits of hypothermia (or at least a very bad cold). Thanks Maggies lens for the cache.

Out on our usual Monday night caching run, this time accompanied by rain and cold weather. We headed south today to clear some caches in the area and some which I have not done. Slowly but surely, we moved east instead of going further down till Pakenham when we made a turn and headed back towards the city. Caching in the cold weather isn't much fun but anywho we still needed to do what's necessary.
I had about 30 finds tonight and we had a few DNF's.

This was one of our finds. Trailrunning made the find for this one. TFTC Maggies_lens Smile

26-Sep-11
Continuing on our quest for a cache a day and having a very busy day planned we decided to try and find this closest to home cache. We are very familiar with the park, over the years we have found five caches here. This one certainly had the shortest walk of all to it. It was drizzling with rain so there weren't any muggles around so it was fortunately a quick find. You have to be lucky sometimes
Thanks Maggies_Lens for the cache, we look forward to you placing some more in this great park

I was in the car and on my way here quickly, on arrival I summesd up my options and soon had the crafty hide in hand.. but not before checking a few of said hint items.. I was soon finding a blank log sheet and signing in the *FTF* spot. Thanks Maggie's lens.. can I suggest you add some attributes such as not available 24hours a day.. dipped ftf Travel Bug and GPS Geo coin.
