Wow! Just a very beautiful island! This will be my first 5 terrain cache! Visiting from Georgia and saw this very fun multi. One of the signs was broken so I got the answers for B wrong. It was very hard on a remote island like this so it wasn't easy! TFTC GREETINHS FROM USA R@9$
Loved doing this geocache. Very tricky with no GPS and had to do old school mapping. Got close to cache but as birds breeding was warned to stay away. I tried to go closer and was charged by an angry buff-banded rail. Wings all fluffed up as he ran towards me. Haha no happy so I had to stay away.
Stunning place! Managed to work out the location while the snorkelling area was closed, and find the cache but unable to sign the log as a bubba bird was protecting it. Thanks for placing this cache
One needs to use their geocaching sleuth skills to complete this multi cache. Also be careful to make connection to the correct sign at one of the stations.
The cache position is nearly placed on an area away from other tourists, but possibly in a bad position because it is being shared with a lot of bird life.
I enjoyed the challenge. Their is room for plenty more caches on the island.
Thanks for putting this one there.

As staying in paradise and I noticed before going it had a cache. Downloaded it as there is no signal on the island. Got 3 of the 4 clues and guessed the final one. Cache was wet but added some dry paper. Alan
Took a day trip to Lady Elliot Island today. A very beautiful island. After snorkelling it was already quite cold. But the corals and fish were worth it.
Finally, we did the multi on the tour. At Stage 2 you have to look for the clue in the bushes. Unfortunately the sign is overgrown.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany.

We really enjoyed exploring LEI and collecting the information for this multi cache. I suspect that maybe one of the signs has changed since cache placement and a bit of Geo logic was required. We enjoyed lots of walking around the island during our brief stay. Several of the tracks were closed due to turtle hatching and bird nesting season. The area around gz was very busy with protective birds and chicks that could be seen hiding in the long grass. It wasn’t a sensible option for us to walk into such a delicate nesting area. I would love to think we could return at a more appropriate time to sign the log but wish instead that the cache was a Virtual to protect the sensitive surroundings. Thanks for the interesting multi cache.
Yay found it!!! Managed to work out the coordinates and with some help from karicka. There were a few angry birds as they are nesting nearby but we managed to get through. Lady Elliot Island is a beautiful place. This is the fifth time we visit and will always come back here. Thank you for putting a cache here for another activity to do.
Area very overgrown but found cache in good condition, signed log and replaced as found TFTC
Spending 3 nights on LEI this Christmas.
Walked around the island about 4 times, collecting the numbers at the same time.
Crossed the runway to GZ. The tree was full of nesting noddies, opted to admire the cache from a distance.
Thank you for hiding this geocache and keeping me entertained giorgix3 DAvo10569

Visiting LEI from Tennessee and decided to grab this cache during our stay. Awesome visit, got to see nesting turtles digging out their nests on Wednesday night and lots of sea creatures in the water, Collected our clues, then went and found the final... but I’ll admit we did not sign the log... there were around 50 white capped noddies screaming at us from GZ that we were too close to their eggs. Could have grabbed it anyway, but figured the right thing to do was to just take the picture and not induce any more panic for them! Thanks for the cache!
Now back on the mainland I'm able to log this cache. We stayed 3 days on the island and recuperated from the long flight from Germany. The tour over the island was very interesting. On the way we also gathered the information for the earth cache.
Many thanks for this little tour. It was a break from all the snorkelling and laziness.
Best regards from Germany,

We came all the way from Germany to pick up our son, who spent the last six month in the Noosa area as an exchange student, and discover this beautiful country. Obviously, a beautiful Country also has some very cool geocaches....
at the end of a wonderful stay on Lady Elliot Island I Managed to finish the Cache, too. What a wonderful experience, and how many creatures we have seen! Sea-Turtles, Sharks, Lots of other fish, and even some whales when flying in.
Thanks for the Cache from Mojolucani

around noon we went for the cache. it was so hot.... we found the answers on the owner's questions and went further to the final. we could see the cache but because of a newly hatched chick and a mother bird sitting on her egg we decided not to disturb the real inhabitans of lady elliot island... so no real written log but an eye cache. we loved to cache even in the great barrier reef! thanks to the owner.
Found on our recent stay on Lady Elliot - far too hot to be geocaching but we managed it anyway! A nice little tour of the island - took a while at the GZ as the GPS was going a bit haywire (as were the nesting noddies!!) but we finally got out hands on it. Thanks for a great cache on probably the most remote place we've ever been!
Yey. This was lots of fun. Even with Hubby who we call Grumpynutcache for a reason. We also got our exercise by walking up and down to he island twice. TFTC
Yesss found it after a fantastic last destination of our 7 weeks trip in Australia. Tftc greats from the Netherlands. We love the island with his turtles...
My Girlfriend and me had a wonderful trip to this beautiful (bird) - island. We snorkeled, eated well, leyied at the beach and saw a turtle laying there eggs....best of all: we did that great multi cache (and i placed a ring in there before....) and she said YES! So, a favo is clear at this stage. Many thanks to the owner;) cheers Petra & Jonas (20.2.18)

Last day on LEI as part of the MIT Bootcamp Trek. This is the most wonderful place I have ever been.
We had a wonderful time coming to LEI and we learned a lot and walked a lot and snorkeled a lot and enjoyed life. Even more joyful I became when I found reasonable coordinates for this multicache and found the cache spot on where I thought it would be. Thank you for placing the cache here on this wonderful island.
We've been having such a fantastic time on Lady Elliot Island we were wondering if we'd find time to locate that cache. But never fear a quick reconnoiter of the snorkelling sites also garnered the necessary info and we made a straightforward find, although as we found it right at dusk we did feel the need to watch out for Susannah's ghost. But she left us unmolested while we signed the log and then we scampered back for tea. The cache is in good nick with the new container keeping out the rain we've had over the last day or so. TFTC.
We just loved our five day stay on LEI. We saw everything - whales, manta rays, other rays, sharks, fish, fish and more fish. And we did lots of walks all over the place including this fun geocache. We took the hard way in on a newly-mown path and found multiple trees of the sort the hint suggested. The most obvious one was not the hiding place! But that was probably because we came in on the wrong track! Eventually found the lidless container and replaced it. Then we found the easy way out which makes finding the container much easier! Thanks so much for putting this out here. All is safe and dry now. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We're headed to LEI next weekend and will bring a replacement container. Cheers... Gaztek
This was our 3rd holiday on this beautiful little island. The previous visits were BG (before geocaching became our hobby). We found all the waypoints without too much trouble. Did the calcs and got a set of coords that placed us on the island, as opposed to out on the sea. A good chance that we got it correct. Found a track that took us very close to GZ. The original, lidless container has a smaller container within it, thanks to the previous finder, which protects the logbook. A new one litre sized container is really needed to hold all the swaps and keep out the weather. Perhaps the next geocacher to visit could bring a suitable container. We placed a flat rock over the top to try to keep the rain out of it. Found a really small treefrog in the container and we took aTB. TFTC

Found this one after the ANSAC-celebration on the island. It is a perfect spot for a multi-cache. The spots were easily founded as the container.
I brought a new container and placed in with a new logbook in the old one.
Thanks to giorgix3 for hiding and maintaining this geocaches.

My GPS placed the initial waypoint about 15m north of the nearest sign, but with a little deduction I was able to get the right coordinates (the others were bang on). The host is now without a lid and the zip lock bag inside has a tear. I repositioned it to hopefully prevent rain entry but I'm not optimistic. During the remainder of my stay on the island I kept looking for an alternate host container but didn't come across anything. Maintenance is required. TFTC. SL.
Hi!
As I mentioned in my logged visit, the container really needs to be replaced, the lid is gone. I hope you can find someone at the island that can help you with this, it would be a shame for the log sheet to get destroyed by rain, and I really love that there is a geocache at this rather remote location.
Again, Tftc!

Found on a visit to this amazing place! Good coordonates. The lid of the canister is gone, I hope someone can fix a new one so that this nice cache can be kept going! ( I could not find the time myself) Tftc!
After working on the island for 9 months I finally took the time to track this one down. What a wild spot to sit amongst the terns and gulls. I'm sorry I didn't get around to replacing the container before I left - good work to Luis959 for being so prepared!!
We forgot our gps in hervey bay. We tried it, but wie can't find the Cache.
But the Vacation on the Island was great.

What a magical few days. I'm pleased that I could leave a smiley face. Container lid is fulling to prices. Will need replacing before a rain storm.
With GZ coords in hand I set off early morning to find the cache. After looking in around and under the wrong spot for about 15 minutes I finally found the correct area and found the cache easily then. TFTC on this beautiful island. Don't want to leave but alas it is back to the real world tomorrow.
Such an amazing place! Bird life and sea life are some of the best you could probably find anywhere in the world.
Found after searching the final area for a few minutes.

We have visited Lady Elliot Island mainly to go scuba diving and found this geocache during our surface breaks....
The final spot is in a remote location well away from the other visitors, but it is quite hard to retrieve the container because of overgrown bushes and grasses (but hey, this is a terrain lvl 5 cache - and not only because of the remote location of the island
Thanks a lot for the effort to place a multi-cache on LEI!

Found it with Kutscher33 and Kutscherin! After two days of searcing and with a little help! Thanks for hidding!
We had a 3 day's week-end on the Island, and decided to do this one while waiting for our flight back. But time got us and after gathering all the info and having the final coordinates in the GPS we couldn't find the cache, and had to take off...
Next time, whenever that will be

Wonderful holiday location.
Between snorkeling, reef walking and turtle watching we explored for this cache.
A Great place to find a cache.
Thanks to Emma for maintaining this cache.
Planning a return (3rd) visit to the island.

I did the points of this between dives and then put the co-ords together and went to find the container before lunch today. Got to the spot and checked a couple of places before finding the right one. Took the TB out and will place it in another cache shortly.
Container is in good condition and well hidden still.
Thanks for placing this cache giorgix3... I was checking out the map at the arrivals point today and one of the staff who was doing the welcome talk with a new group asked me if I was doing the geo thing. I said yes and then asked if I could chat to her about some questions for the earth cache.
Cheers

We spent our last few days of our holiday in Australia on the Lady Elliot Island. This island is so lovely!! First we went for a snorkeling-adventure in the lagoon and explored the underwater world. After that we tried to solve the multi-cache. We were disturbed by rain and storm, so that we finished the search on the next day. It was a little bit difficult, but very interesting. We signed our visit in the logbook at 13:00 o'clock. After that we flew home...

My wife and I have brought our children here for a once in a life time experience, although this is my 3rd visit and the wife’s 2nd. It’s a fantastic place to experience a marine adventure and learn how we are directly affecting our world and a place to reflect. Mostly it good for scuba diving, snorkelling, reef walking, whale watching swimming with turtles, local entertainment, drinking while watching fantastic undisturbed sunset. Getting the picture it’s a place you must visit at least once in your life.
TFTC
Emma (blond) will be keeping an eye on it from now on.
Thanks for your help Emma (new container, log + goodies) so come and find this cache.

Found this on a beautiful day, the jar and everything in it was soaking wet so we took the log with us to dry and put it back when it was dry again. Thank you so much for the tour around the island:)
What else to do on Lady Elliot than geocaching?
Ok, we did a bit of scuba diving, snorkeling, reef walking, drinking wine in the sunset near the light house and so on, but this cache was of course the main reason for going there.
The whole cache was really wet, so we dried up the log sheets and everything else as much as possible. Tried to replace it in a way so water should not get in, but maybe the container should be replaced with a more waterproof kind.

Third to find. A big thank you to giorgix3 for placing this cache and for your help. Thanks to this find, I was able to fix a dot day while on the island without having to wait a whole year.
I enjoyed the walk around the island collecting clues. It was one of my several walks around during my stay. The final was a bit difficult since the birds are currently nesting and the placement was way too close to a number of nests. However, I was able to get in and out without too much commotion or having presents rained down on me as I did earlier in the day when I passed by some nests.
Definitely a favorite point.

Second to find! We took our time over our three days on the island to check the waypoints, all of which were easy and enjoyable finds. The cache itself likewise. If you rush, it can probably all be done within an hour. Bring your own pen. Now off to sunset and turtle nesting watching with a bottle of wine. Life's rough

After emailing Giorgix3 and getting the correct coordinates, we were able to find this Geocache. I'm happy to report that the cache is still intact and available for others to find. The correct equation should be posted soon but until then:

E 152 C-17.D+747
This will make finding the cache MUCH easier! Thanks to Giorgix3 for placing the cache and I hope others out there get to experience the Beauty of Lady Elliot Island!

I am sorry with all the geocachers that looked for the cache up to now. I did a mistake and it was impossible to calculate the right coordinates. Now this has been corrected and you should be able to find the cache.

Spent a few hours looking for this one. After working out the clues? I ended up with: S24.06.665 E152.42.927. However, things change around the Island and this could be wrong? Birds were nesting all over the Island. It would be easy to tread on an egg. Any future person looking for this cache should be very careful. Hope someone finds the cache some day!
My Wife and I were on the Island for a Day trip only ,I did all the touristy things all day and at the end I had an Hour and a Half to spare before the plane comes to pick us up .So of I go finding all the clues finally finding the last clue and working out were the cache is, by this stage I had about 10 minutes to find it ! I was racing up and down the breeze way frantically to find it but plane had arrived and the pilot was calling to come aboard if only I had another 15 minutes it could have been mine !
It was a great day an I enjoyed the chase of the cache Thanks giorix3

After three hours of searching all over beautiful Lady Elloit Island together with my friends Vroni and Daniel during our recent visit to this fantastic place we still didn't find the cache. We are pretty sure about the final coordinates and think we found the right spot, but there was noting to find there. Maybe the owner/keeper of the cache could check if it actually is still there or if some of the many birds may have removed it.
Nevertheless a nice hike around and through the island and a great loaction to hide a geocache. Maybe whoever tries next does have more luck than we do.
