This would be a reallynice rest stop and possible camping spot if not for the wads of toilet paper everywhere. The creek is really lovely.
Thanks MattyRX for the cache and the chance to stop for a break.

Going to Alstonville, had to have a rest from all those winds! Nice area with interesting plaques on the nearby tree :/ thanks for the cache
Found while returning home after attending Christmas in June Stanthorpe 2013 and also travelling through the Granite Belt Country, Great Cache. TFTC
What a nice place to stop...and to camp...thanks for showing us this place MattyRX
Pulled into this one and found a couple of grey nomads had settled in for the night. Another very pretty spot in this part of the country. Threw some rocks into the creek before grabbing the cache.
The drive from Maclean to Uralla with Bettyboo3747 yielded a few caches, and a lot of fun curves.
We got out of the car to the sound of a chorus of Bell birds - lovely.
Checked out a few spots before we locate the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2518. Robmc and I were heading south to Uralla after leaving Ashby this morning. I have driven past here quite a few times in the last couple of year but did not know there was a cache hiding here. I have always admired the spot as I drove past. We pulled in here and couldn't believe how many bellbirds we could hear in the tree canopy. It would certainly be a great place for motor homes and caravans to spend the night. We looked at a few logs before coming up with the right one. Didn't explore the track through the trees. I have a big phobia about tics and leeches. Took: A laughing cow, Left: Blue Frog TB (which has no blue frog on it but an orange vehicle). TFTC

Found it on the 12th and left and left the laughing cow. Great bower bird display 25 meters east, even more human displays around . Please bury it guys.
Great place to be taken to, there was a bower birds nest right near where we parked. Son was beside himself when he saw the toy James train through the cache.

On the way throw stop in on a very windy day and got to see a tree blow down tftc Matty
This was really a Did Not Look than a DNF. I arrived at GZ to find some grey nomads had setup a serious campsite right around where I wanted to go searching. Considering there no no else around I thought they may not take it well if I went searching around their campsite. Anyway it gives me an excuse to come back now.

Found with Geokids in tow. What lovely spot, the bell birds chimming away, very pleasant break to the journey.
Geokids swapped some SWAG.

Nice hide. Picked up a leach and saw a lovely your carpet snake nearby as I strolled down to the creek.. TFTC SL Jumbucks
Found to the constant cacophany of 'bell birds' before spending the night here in our campervan. Perfect for picnics and peaceful nights.
Quick easy find, but the area was saturated! Nicely hidden in a lovely location within the valley. TFTC
A very pretty spot down below at the waters edge. Some travellers pulled up after we'd found the cache, re-hid it, and had gone down for a check of the river. They thought they might go for a swim. It did look very inviting. A lovely location.
Back to the cache. Found it nicely hidden in it's spot. Noticed a pathway heading off into the bush just there too that was quite disguised from the grass. I wonder where that went to?

With a week in Coffs, we spent 1 day driving around.
Use this spot for a lunch break with 2 motor cycle dudes setup for the day. Quick find though didn't wander to the creek.
Thanks - Geoff Mel Leah Tara

I just had to stop in and find this one, KateRX and I were headed back to our home town for a quick trip.
I haven't been here for quite a while but it is still as beautiful as ever, I remember all the family holidays to the gold coast and yamba we would stop here and have a swim or just stretch our legs.
The cache was in great nick with lots of swaps.
Thanks for bringing me back MattyRX.

I really wanted to find this one, but thought it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack as I had no coverage on my iPhone geocaching app. But thanks to MattyRX's instructions, I was FTF! Not before I ventured down to the river searching in various spots where I thought the cache might be hidden. I swept aside some leaf litter in which was hidden a thorny plant (my hand is still stingy and tingling), hope it wasn't one of those wild raspberries! It was a great little spot which I haven't stopped at since I was a kid. I'd forgotten where it was, thanks MattyRX - took your coin and left the NSW geocoin.
