Looked for a while but felt like a weirdo being so close to traffic, people staring. Gave up for the time being.
Had coffee nearby then a quick look here before leaving. Muggle hanging around nearby made a good search difficult so will call a dnf this time.
Nearby and decided to see if I could find, luckily only a short search, beautiful hot day!
I noticed this one yesterday when having an icecream at the macdonalds. So when arriving at the traffic lights from a different angle, noticed the great parking area. I made a short run to GZ and after first looking in the wrong spot find the clever hide
Terrific cache thanks Glyn ! A great camo as usual , but not toooo hard this time thank goodness as it's getting dark ! On our way home after catching up with family camping out at Shakespears ....
Quick find on a walk up to the shops months ago !!! Just realised that we hadn't logged it properly tftc
I'm out today with Vistra today around Whangaparoa.. We aim to get around 50 caches today. Please excuse the generic log.
Find #1014. Thank you very much for the cache. 28/09/2014 13:28

We camped for a couple of nights on the Whangaporara Peninsular, while we were there we saw killer whales come right into the harbour. A truely memorable moment.
All the caches we did were in amazing locations with fantastic views of the coastline & some withe viewscross to the Auckland skyline. All are worth a favourote point, I have only selected a few but if your cache does not receive one its not that its not as good as the rest.
A nice quick cache, worth a favourite point
Thanks for placing this cache glyn(the only one)
Good cach there!! Took it while I was waiting for the bus, nice and easy. TFTC! Cheers from Sweden!
While waiting for the bus today at the plaza I checked to see if any caches were around - this was directly across the road, clever little hide Didn't have pen to log it on the small peice of paper. cache is in good order. TFTC
Stealth is required as there is often muggles hanging around. Miss 8 found the cache without to much trouble.
Not the best of days for caching, the minute we walked out the door it started to pour down with rain. The GPS seemed to be all over the place also, so our search area was wide. Had a good look around but beaten on this occasion.
Well done Michelle a good first time find. Very tricky little hide. Hope someone doesn't pick it up and start playing fetch with their dog
Found with Emeralde. Clever little catch! Log book is full though so couldn't sign. TFTC
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 15, In Auckland Region, Northshore and Shakesphere Park. After a great weather day so far the rain started here and I was almost blown over the road to it. Quite a neat hide but not too hard to spot when you are looking for it. I wonder if a muggle would even register something. Thanks.

Over in NZ for a family furneral next Tuesday, had to get out of the house, and this one had been on my radar for a couple of years. Every time in the past I'd tried, it rained on me. The sun was shining today, for how long????? Pam said go for it.
After finding some caches in and around Shakespears Park, it was off to find some more on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula that had eluded me on past visits.
This one is the epic story, for the 3rd attempt .
The past attempts, were rained out, muggled out or timed out.
All good with the cache.

On my way home from a job locally, and parked in the plaza to scout out some caches. This one had me a bit worried at first, because it looked like that the local council had been doing a bit of tiding up, tree branches trimmed etc. I needn't have worried, it was still there alright cleverly hidden. Once the muggles had left on the bus, the rest was easy.
Found this one with my mate, wouldnt of found it without him. pretty tricky cache bur found it really cool. TFTC!!
A nice bench overlooking the peninsula between two trees offered the perfect place for a wodnerful cache. TFTC
A really lovely little park with great views alongside a busy road. it took a bit of a search to find this cleverly hidden cache.
Still early in the morning and after a long drive up here a Coffee was just what was required, took a moment to locate the right break but got there

Searched for at least 10 minutes to no avail. Put us down for a DNF on this one.

Having spent a weekend burning up fuel on the roads the sign off puzzles, which have ended up being a frustrating and futile exercise. We looked for the next closest today and it was this one. Approached GZ with trepidation, as our skills seem to be lacking these last few days in finding caches and particularly the "master of camo" type ones. However after a bit of fossicking around we were pleasantly surprised to have located this one. A bit wet but the waterproof log surviving good. Enjoyed the view. And have a smile back on our dials. SL. TFTC.
After a fantastic drive coming from Auckland visiting Shakespeare Park and Kotanui Island we found this cache really quickly on our ride home. A nice place but a bit prominent, too. Thanks for the joy.
Nice find thanks busy and windy, log full
And yes we had been out with the Kiwiz@gz today and thought while here we should have a coffee however time was running out due to a birthday party in west Auckland to attend!
It was rather wet under foot traffic going by and yes retrieval of the cache was easy to get due to being hidden from others
Was glad though the rain was holding off today but the wind certainly wasn't

Excellent cache...waited a while for some muggles to leave but then soon had cache in hand!!TFTC
Had to get a battery at the shops with Mum today, so a nice jaunt across the road to the park to find this one. Very nice hide, but the next person can thank me for removing the huge slug from the cache. Mum created a diversion chatting to a friend who got off the bus......had to wait for teenage muggles to move on. TFTC.
A quick search after getting off the bus a stones throw away.
Had to look casual when searching due to a few people nearby.

Fairly easy find. A nice grassy area to visit after having some lunch at the shopping plaza. TFTC.
Though I might grab this one before catching the bus. Tricky find and actually overlooked it once, other than that TFTC.
On our first pass there were some emo kids hanging around, so we didn't stop, but a short while later we were going past again and the area was empty so a sneaky short stop in the bus stop and we had the cache found, signed and rehidden. It was wet inside - although not a problem for the logsheet itself, names are fading off it, and I had to dry it a bit to write on it. Great camo, as usual. TFTC!!!
Out for an afternoon geocaching with FMZ.....A quick stop in the bus stop after the kids had moved on before any bus came along ...TFTC
Great views today at GZ, the water was glistening in the sunshine. Great hide but didnt take long to find TFTC.
Last for the night, found around 9.20pm. Walked up to the GZ, thought that looked like a good spot, hand out and cache in hand. Neat! Took longer to roll the log back up small enough to get it back in the cache than in finding it. TFTC
No cafes were open when I was here this morning. The cache was out in the open so hid it a tad better.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Creepy elderly lady was staring me down while I attemped to locate this cache. Be careful of people waiting for the bus; they watch your every move.
Not good weather for geocaching today with heavy rain and strong winds but on holdiay so have to get some caches found. Soon located the cache. SL TFTC

Manged a nearby park as the traffic was pretty light and made a grab for the cache. Nice to see some familiar camo so it made for an easy drive-by (sort of). Thanks.
Have been saving this cache to fill the gap in the calendar. A place we visit many times so nice to have a cache so close to home. Thanks
Could have done with a Coffee Break, but not enough Time. But we did have Time 4 A Cache. Nice hide, thanks.

High muggle zone for us with school lunch break time - found easily and concealed without difficulty - TFTC
I am not much of a ftf fiend but this one had been left all morning. In the end I was passing by but beaten to the punch by half an hour. TFTC
As i had the day off today, what better way than to spend the morning on a FTF hunt. Arrived at GZ with alot of people around catching buses, relaxing on the seats and taking in the view. Managed to locate and retrieve the cache with out to much trouble. FTF for me number ??? really should add them up! TFTC glyn great hide
