Hey all, my apologies for neglecting this cache.
I'll get a replacement in there in the next week or two (hopefully this weekend)
Thanks,
TeamBumblefoot

I (AGAIN) need to replace the container, I have a feeling it's being muggled now as the new mounting system should have held well... People seem to enjoy this cache so I'll definitely get it move slightly and try again...
Sometimes you fail a test, and then the teacher says 'Well he's a nice guy, and he tried hard, so I'll give him a conceded pass'
That's kind of what this log is. Did the appropriate climbing, but couldn't spot it anywhere. But then I spied the 'new, improved mounting system' but alas the cache has gone missing again ....
Told TeamBumblefoot and he let me log it as a find.

Not a find, not really a dnf. Had a furtive look, but too many muggles about on a beautifully sunny anzac day. Wanted to look more, but GeoWife insisted it was time to go
Hey all the cache is back again, with an even better mounting system, in the same spot as before, for those that know and are helping others... TeamBumblefoot
A rather exposed spot to search, but we gave it a try on this blowy and cool day.
The tide seemed about right, and I found some good spots for a cache, but no container could we locate.
Eventually some fishermen came and we left.
Thanks, Robmc.

We came, we searched, we did not find it. Our 3rd DNF for the day. Oh Dear! Having read previous logs, and the fact that we could get wet at high tide, we had some idea where this sneaky hide might be. Rob did some good monkey business and did find a good hiding spot, but did not find the cache. We did have a chat with a magnificent pelican who was resting on a nearby pole so all was not lost.
third for the day and in 44 degree heat once we found it all we wanted to jump off into the water but since there was a bit of a swell and close to columns of oysters and barnacles we thought better of it, did not want to be shredded me thinks!
thanks for the find

Tide was half in making it harder to search fully, no luck today and a few people around so moved onwards.
Mooie serie, mooie wandeling. TFTC

I could have logged a DNF, but as I called a friend who in the end told me spot omn were it suppose to be, I will log a maintenance. did the monkey thing to get to the spot and made sure I didn't overlook anything to be able to confirm this one is actually missing in action. Unfortunately my second visit to no success.

If at first you don't succeed, come back at low tide.
found it easily this time and signed the log.

Found it but how to get it. I let an old hand do the dirty work. I should have I need the exercise.
Great cache.
Great cache.
What a tricky spot to hide a cache. Very clever.
Left Slick the Snowmobile TB for the next finder.
Thanks for the hunt TeamBumblefoot.

We had a ball here! After the fun of finding the cache, we decided to stay for a few hours and try a bit of fishing, which was super! We caught many fish including a good size bream and a nice salmon (see pic). We also waited until sunset to enjoy that too.
Thanks,

Fun find and a busy day. Meet other catchers when we thought we were relatively sneaky. The hide was sneaky. After the sighting i was considering options to make a discrete claim when my 84year old friend displayed athletic agility far beyond his age to have it in hand. (without getting wet). What a treasure. TFTC
Found this with the Newberys. Lots of Muggles today but they were more interested in launching boats and fishing
Wow, this is a busy boat ramp! Lucky I grabbed the cache quick cause the muggle family came down for a spot of fishing on top of the cache. Great spot, TFTC
I visited this cache a week or so ago and found it seemed to be gone...
So I replaced it with a new tin today...
I will have to secure it better in the next week or so as I don't think there's much iron left in its attachment point for the magnets to hold onto...

I had a quick look and couldnt find the cache in it's original location last week, so I think it's been muggled... I'll make a new container and replace it in the next week...
Found it on our second attempt. Great cache and good fun retrieving for the geokids. TNLN
Managed to spot the cache as i wandered amongst the many muggles at GZ but had to return at a quieter time to retrieve it.....TFTC TeamBumblefoot...met a local who knew what I was up to and came for a chat...
Well it seemed that the tide was right for us and having lots of childhood knowledge gave us the edge.
cheers and thanks for the cache
cheers and thanks for the cache
Finally struck a quiet time, and even though the cache could be seen, it was quite an effort to retrieve it. I was rewarded with a fantastic sunset as well!
TFTC TeamBumbleFoot!
TFTC TeamBumbleFoot!
My 3rd visit to try to retrieve this cache, and again I was out-muggled. People in cars just looking out, photographers, coffee drinkers, but for a change no boaties today. So frustrating,'cause I can see the cache! And I did need a Find today, too
TFTC. Took a while to find this cache, searched the wharf structure where my GPS showed GZ and couldn't locate it.
FTF was with us so they had a look and advised it was not in its original location........was about to give up when we took a walk down the boat ramp and I saw it (about 9 meters away from original location) - I have returned to the orginal location.

Found with and thanks to geo-daughter's keen eyes and climbing skills (those Kindi-Gym lessons came in handy!) Nice one TeamBumblefoot TFTC and the challenge
Yes finally got this one, rolled the trousers up and acrobatics in motion.. Yehaaa... TFTC. I'm exited..
Much easier to search at low tide, and this evening's low tide was very low indeed. Also there is often safety in numbers; with lots of people around I was much less conspicuous than I would otherwise have been. A quick find once the right perspective was achieved. It seems that the cache has been found by a few muggles too, at least they have had the decency to sign the log and replace the cache! Thanks for the cache TeamBumblefoot
Rated: for Overall Experience
Whilst trying to look inconspicuous amongst the muggles noticed lots of crabs. Hadn't even really started the search yet when I spotted the cache, woo hoo.
I looked for to long in the wrong place, but spotted a better possibility, and sure enough - the cache was soon in hand. Luckily I was alone at GZ. It might have looked a bit odd to bystanders as I recovered the goods in my work clothes! Signed log as 'THG' to save space. Thanks Teambumblefoot. Favourite.
There were a few fisher muggles at gz but they took no notice of our geomonkeys that clamered in the appropriate places to claim the prize. TFTC
It was blowing a gale and the tide was not low enough so an approach was made from above. Magnets don't stick to aluminum or stainless steel right?
I couldn't find it.

A quick dash out after checking the tide on a cold & windy afternoon. Had to wait for a little girl & her grandmother to leave as they were standing right on GZ. We did encourage their departure by pointing out the rain coming our way.
Then geohubby used some acrobatics to grab this one. S empty L. Sadly no $1- scratchy though, but a cute Teambumblefoot disc. TFTC.
