I was cruising around the back roads today and finding some delightful caches and views
And after the overgrown drive along the laneway found some more delightful views [^]
No caches found after 20 minutes of looking
Ah well !!

Took a bit drive our camper to this one great view but looks like it has gone, we had the GPS lead us to a Stump that should have been the spot but after an extensive search no Luck TFTH
I can't make it "didn't find" as I did not look.
This is my type of cache, the older, substantial, at a great locations and a bit of effort and adventure to achieve.
Spending 4 days checking out old favourite 4wd areas and catching up with some long time property owners decided to do this one after spending the night at one of my all time favourite camp sites, Iron Pot Creek. Unfortunately my planned stop on the way to Woodenbong via Cox's road was halted by the dreaded locked gate at the bottom of the hill, maybe a long weekend with the threat of rain had NP's a bit worried.
As I had to back track a fair way to go around, left this for another time.

Needed a cache for today to keep try to complete my goal of caching on each day of the calendar year.
This wasn't my original target for the day, another cache popped up last night at Whiporie which I promptly DNF'ed along with Bessie's Mob.
So I set off from Whiporie to this cache (for the 2nd time) I drove here on Tuesday but missed the turn to the lane that runs to the cache. My gps was about 500m out. No excuse.
The grass is getting longer along the lane, but the work van had no problems.
Arrived at GZ and soon found the cache. The cicadas are deafening but the view is worth it.
Dipped in a few TB's for a visit.
Thanks for the cache wolfweb. Most enjoyable experience at a great spot.

Checked cache all ok. since this (public) lane is not used much the grass in the middle of it is getting a bit high now in summer but my subaru forester has no problems.
We were on our way to Casino today, so decided to detour from the main track to have a look for this cache. I have never been down this little lane before, so it was nice to explore a new bit of the area. There are some fantastic views of Mount Warning and the Border Ranges heading toward GZ. Once we arrived at the cache site, it didn’t take too long to find the prize. We took a pig and a sticker and left a bag of crystal mud and a yoyo. Nice to see some more local caches popping up! Thanks Wolfweb and Beadzoo!
Rushed to this the other day when there was a bit of confusion, then made an attempt for some sneeky clues so as to possibly beat Bessies mob, which is hard to do,but that was to no avail. Anyhow, when the cache finaly came up,we were away caching around coffs and dorrigo, which is lucky for Bessies Mob[congratulations]although we would have liked that FTF flag. The cache site is a great drive in the country with a fantastic view,so we left a geocoin for the next visitor. Thanks Wolfweb and Beadzoo.
Well we were kinda out this way so after a discussion with the other we decided to go for a drive and get this one. We saw a few kangaroo's as we approached GZ.
Made a few swaps. grabbed geocoin.

Found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coords pretty good this time. Got our FTF flag on our Caching Wall Our 27th FTF (found jointly with BrightEyes! ) Had been watching this since the mixup a couple of days ago and discovered the advantages of being a Premium Member today when we got a notification email before Cache was enabled again. Took off like a Bat out of Hell to make sure we beat the competition ( you know who you are) Thankyou Wolfweb
Finally found it today.
Had it in hand quite quickly after gps setlled down.

? The coords. Car gps, etrex and iPhone had us 50m onto a disused metgasco site with no views to Richmond range or mount warning. We looked for about half an hour with no success
