Logs
After visting the nearby puzzle final, I came to collect a couple of the nearby trads, and a couple waypoints for the Tour De Forrest multi. This one was quickly located in the obvious spot, just wasn't the first option I checked. All good! Paper has been damp but it's drying out ok, and I'd suggest with the upcoming warm weather it should be fine. Thanks for the placement, #4976
I found it but almost not as it was well hidden. A bit wet inside it - Hamish and daddy
This was a first visit to Bottle Lake Forest Park and we very much enjoyed the stroll around. We would certainly have liked to see some more of it but I currently have to keep my walks short. Just a short search was needed to locate this cache. TTFC, looking4thebroc.
Good little find, good to do with kids or nephews no treasure so putting something inside
Good wee spot just off the beaten path. Easy to access. Nothing much inside, but a nice adventure anyway. Monster Ollie, Clueless Kalia, Kobe Kenobi
Quick and easy find. As others have mentioned log has been wet and is now damaged beyond use. TFTC.
It's been a few weeks since my last great Sat morning exped. Weather and work have conspired against me. But no excuses this morning. Want originally on my to do list today, but seeing as I ended up so close to it decided to take the small detour. A bit in the open, but then again far enough of the track, the uninitiated shouldn't stumble upon it .... Cheers!
Nice, easy find. I covered it up a little bit as it was quite exposed when I found it. Thanks!
Good spot!. Tftc. Also bring paper, log book was wrecked. If u see "Amber" on it that was my 6yr old sister
Found it, Tftc bring more paper but was easy to find but be careful for cyclists!
Logging a bit late. Had to return to see what date I'd found this and two others. Checked one because all had been found on the same day. Since I was here I found a few more. Thanks
Tftc good hide not what I was looking for, could do with a new log book.
Quick find whilst out walking the puppy trying to get some shade and cool sea breeze on this 35 degree day. TFTC
Number 9053 Tftc. Last find of the day before heading back to the holiday park for a BBQ. The paper was a little fragile, so popped in a slip of waterproof paper to keep things going.
While I was in Christchurch visiting family my grandaughter Olivia and grandson Sir Belac went out to get a few caches .Thank for this cache looking4thebroc
A nice easy cache for my first hunt! Brought a new zip lock bag with me to combat the comments about a wet log!
Decided to go for a bike ride on Mr10today’s birthday round Bottle Lake. After stopping at the shelter mentioned in the description and trying our hand at mountain boarding, Mr Bee and Mr 10 went for a longer ride leaving me and mr6 to go at a slower pace and look for a few caches. Mr 6 was struggling with the hills on his little bike so this stop was a welcome distraction. A fairly quick find, but as noted the log is very damp. Just as we were leaving 2 others arrived to hunt for the cache. Tftc
