We looked and looked, went away came back looked again but still couldn't find the cache
Found a few good hidey holes, but no cache. Either it's gone, or we were looking in the wrong place...
Found with omaster & ozzy the dog on a morning walk along the water. Perfect morning & lovely views. TFTC
A quick find in a spot we would never have visited if not for caching. Lovely waterfront views from the houses around here. TFTC
Out to walk geo-daughter's dog (or was the dog walking us) and picked up a few caches as the sun brightened up the day.
Nice spot and the dog loved it.

A lovely afternoon to be down by the water. Grabbed this quick cache whilst on the way to pick up the cub. TFTC.
Found with bogonghazy on a whirlwind 3 day trip to Hobart. Mixing some social outings with friends from over here and some time for reflection, with some caching in between. Co-ords seemed to be a good bit out here today? But nevertheless, cache was found and logged. Beaut views, thanks for highlighting this spot. And thanks for the cache too.
On a long weekend's assault on Tassie with Sully1, this was found by Sully after the short walk from the car. Thanks for adding to this series Sog n Paulus, love the theme.
Needed a little help on this one as I kept looking to far away. New I wasn't looking hard enough. LOL
I found myself and the 2 geoboys unexpectedly in the area. We headed down to the beach and towards GZ, and made a quick find. The sun was starting to dip, so there were some lovely views of the water, the Mountain and a passing boat. TFTC!

Cold old day today, just 13*. No swimmers, and we thought they were tough down here !!. We were just sitting in the car with doors open when a police woman checked us out to see what we were up to. After we explained what we were doing , we could have a new geocacher on board. tftc
Ran into a fellow cacher while looking for this one so made it rather easy for us
I decided to add a cache to today's local walk (on previous strolls I kept forgetting about this one), and soon found myself on the foreshore. Unfortunately the briskness of my walk saw me overshoot (I should know that this happens by now), but eventually I had the cache in hand. I was just signing the log (having dodged some muggles earlier), when a family group approached. I tried my "friendly but nonchalant" look, but their purpose was soon revealed when they asked if I'd found "Sog's Redemption"! Thus it was that I met DJ&Tibby, and passed over the log, for what must have been one of the easier finds of their fledgling caching careers. Thanks for the cache, Sog n Paulus.
Parked up the car and made the short beach stroll to the hide, enjoyed the water views whilst signing the log, thanks "Sog n Paulus" for this cache. we took nothing and left nothing on this occasion, TFTC
Another one I've been meaning to do and after a very shot walk i soon had the cache in hand.
Quick sign and replace and i'm done
Thanks for the cache

Didn't take long to spot the hide TFTC Sog n Paulus
We went for a walk along the shore area and nearby streets, which included Geilston Bay and Natone Hill.

A quick find after work I remember doing the walk around the bay many times when the geokids were little. Great spot. TNLNSL
Great view from here of the nearby yacht race... and mt Wellington. Thanks for organising the cache. TNLNSL.
Easy find for us on a blustery day!. Both Mr red tag and I were dressed in our suits after being to a funeral, so we were just a tad over dressed for caching.
Thanks for the cache SnP

Why is it that some caches seem to be impossible on any number of previous failed attempts, yet, finally one day the cache is found immediately with no trouble whatsoever? (this has been one of those caches for me, in case you hadn't guessed)
Had to step over what seemed to be a possum that had has his fur washed off by the sea, yuck
Something to watch of you do this at night as he matched the beach rocks quite well in daylight, not something you want to step in.
Cache was an easy find, could actually see it as I walked up to the GZ. TFTC

Nice easy find after watching the Dragon Boat Races in Lindisfarne Bay earlier today. tnln TFTC
Co-ords were a little off by my gps but once i widened the gz i found easily enough TNLN TFTC!
Well I wasn't going to let my weekend caching habit be broken by the fact I had been called into work so this was a pre dawn grab before the dawn light had even showen it self. Lucky for me the tide was on the out (only just). Funny little shrimp things jumping about in the tourch light.
JABs.

Juggling bub and dog makes geocaching a challenge lately despite my copious 'free time', however I figured this one should be doable! Found easily, and even had a short walk along the path before bub got hot in his pouch and had had enough.
Thank you for the cache!

The only one we could find on Australia Day. Weather nice for all the walking and looking.
Happy Australia Day everyone! A short stroll along the waters edge led us to gz. A local launching his boat from his trailer meant we had to take care. Our previous caching trip to this area left me too exhausted to try this one so we came back today. Took bouncy ball left astronaut. TFTC
A nice quick find after the scramble up Natone Hill. Took a camel and left a soldier. TFTC
Found by Matt and Timo in Tas for Wild Dayz Venture. From Black Pearl Venturers (Scouts) SA.
Lovely view and it did not take too long to spot the cache thanks Sog n Paulus
The second find for the day before I head to Mt King William for #3000....
Got to the indicated GZ and started searching - there were a lot of hidey holes there and no cache, so back to the NTrailTB and read some logs before having another go.
Second time around I widened the search area and bingo - something out of place made me look twice. Sure enough, there was the cache hidden away.
Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks Sog.

Dont know whether albydangles or geodog and I got there first. Great first cache for the new year. A word of warning - dont take geokids to this one as the foreshore is very littered and heaps of nasty oyster shells to cut their feet. also broken glass. Take care. Great hide. Coords on my etrex 10 were not very close. A bit of luck with my muggle friends found this one. TFTC TNLN
With several possibilities it wasn't hard to spot the correct hiding place. A lovely, calm morning to take in the panorama ofc the river. Thanks for the cache.
on holidays down here with nothing to do so i decided to go geocaching and what a wonderful view this location has. was reasonably easy to find since there werent to many places to hide
Did a few caches down Acton way and this one was sort of on our way home we we made a little detour and took a quick walk along the foreshore and a quick find was made. Lots of shells in this area. TFTC.
Mum found this cache (I was also looking for it at GZ), thanks for the hide, at the time, did not know what COTFTF meant, but now I do. (Mum & I have not got into being FTF caches yet!!)
Quick easy find. Good thing the tide was out as it looks like it comes up the beach quite high. Nice view of the yachts out sailing tonight but not of self's point! Left Bookalele TB. TFTC.
Very quiet down here this morning - perfect for open seraching. Thankfully a quick find. TFTC Sog n Paulus
After a reasonable walk in the heat, we came here so that Maddie could have a nice cool-down, which she enjoyed while I was hunting for and logging the cache. A very nice spot, Sog, and the track leading the other way beckoned for a walk along it. Thanks for the cache - it's a goodun'!
It was a bit fresh here this morning. Luckily the rain stopped as we headed to GZ. TFTC!
In the famous words of Blondie "The tide was high" but just enough room to walk to GZ. A quick find and log. tftc
Nice findl bit windy and scuds of rain coming across the river. Trash out - spent some time picking up bits of worn glass on the foreshore. Left "football" eraser - took plastic ring.

Hi Sog n Paulus
Good to see you back on the caching trail; really good.
After a long morning at work and getting the cache mobile shod; it was time to relax and head for some caches.
This was my third find for the day and at all caches the weather gods were kind to me. The water works were turned off each time for the search and started again as soon as, or shortly thereafter, the search was over.
The TomTom did it again to me on this cache. It took me to the closest access point to the cache rather than the nearest available spot to the cache so I had about a 700 meters walk to the find. Pleasant though, albeit a little windy.
Watched some anglers setting up for the night in hope of catching some sea run trout. The smell of burning gum in the nostrils was one I've missed over the past years.
The search was quick and the log was signed at 1511hrs. Great views here and congrats to Budgietas on his being cursed.
The walk back to the car was a little faster than that to the cache as there was another down pour on its way over the mountain.
TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.

Well, I'm impressed! This might seem like a bit of an odd thing to say, but I was more than a little surprised (very pleasantly surprised, that is) about how quickly this cache came into existence and last Friday's caching event.
I was also very pleased to discover that it was very nearby, providing the perfect opportunity to find my first cache using a LEGO-based GPSr!! Even though I managed without my trusty Garmin this time, I don't think it's going to become my primary GPSr just yet.... after leading me to just the right spot to start searching, and while I did indeed find the cache and sign the log, the distance to the cache drifted out to about 60m! I'm wondering if there might be a datum issue - something to investigate no doubt...
Anyway, thanks for the cache SnP - Even though the curse was of course in no way binding, consider yourself well and truly redeemed!! I wish you many happy FTFs!!

I always enjoy fidning caches in this series but fell a sense of relief when I see other names in the logbook!
I think I came in on the bronze position at around midday on a fine Monday morning.
I took a picture or two from this scenic spot.
Thanks Sog n Paulus

Well, I don't know if I want to report this find.
I saw a new cache come up and thought a quick find on my way to port arthur to find a few caches on my day off.
Anyway arrived at the GZ about 6.45 - 7.00 and quickly found the cache and the log book was blank...... Then realised I was cursed. I felt the "black" feeling desending over me. Bugger.
So know how do I get rid of this thing - Make a suitably difficult cache.... Hmmm I have some ideas, and maybe it will be more to the centre of the state so our northern "cousins" have a chance to be cursed.
Thank you Sog and Paulus - I think

I only had time for a quick diversion on the way to work, but couldn't find this one. Safe from the curse for now
After walking past a very smelly spot at the end of the road, my first guess at a hiding place had me reenacting a scene out of Karate Kid...
Then the GPSr settled a bit and the cache was quickly found - but budgieTas found it first.
That's one FTF it's probably better not to have got (although I did have an idea of what to do if I was cursed).
Nice views, including of a large cruise ship in port.
Thanks, SnP!
