Too good for me today...
Either my caching eyes weren't working or this one need checking...
Thanks anyway Petensoaf...

No luck for us today. Nite that there have been no finds in over 18 months. Perhaps the C O could check. Thanks anyway
We took the wrong track in but a short bush bash later we were at GZ. Had a couple of ideas as to what this could be, but still an extensive search didn't reveal the hide. Will have to add our dnf to the others. Thanks for the intro to this lovely area though Petensoaf
We looked but couldn't find it. A fire had been through recently. Could it of burnt??
Ok even having a guess as to what it might me I searched for awhile to find this sneaky hide. Log is damp and has seen better days just usable so needs a replacement ASAP dogs enjoyed the walk and determination paid off TFTC
Having a wonderful day in this area while others are watching the GF. Nice walk to GZ with some beautiful wildflowers. Wow what a great camo, worth a fav from me.
Thanks Petensoaf for a well crafted cache.

A stop on the way after finding one of the Log Chop series. Took a while as there were many indeed!
Megawat60 made another find. The log was a mass of papier mache so I replaced it with a brand new one! TFTC Petensoaf!

Cool cache container, like the creativity. Nice spot too, lovely countryside. TFTC
Catching up on my logs . Day 2 of our enjoyable Easter weekend away staying in Serpentine
We went for a nice drive out to Jarrahdale, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the tranquillity. SL TFTC Petensoaf

What a fabulous cache!! Very impressive, fiancé found this one quickly, I don't believe I would have found it so easily alone.
TFTC, sorry I have no favourite points left to give!

A beautiful spring day so had to get out an go caching . Decided to do an easy trip up to Jarrahdale and have a leisurely lunch then walk around the town and grab a few caches before returning home to the weekend chores.
A nice easy stroll down the path and then a relatively easy find of the cleverly cammoed container.
Thanks for the cache Petensoaf [^] - log was damp but OK to write on. Bag has hole in it.

Found this after a short hunt - log a little wet - put it in a bag but may need replacing - TFTH
The first find of a number in the area today, out with the geokids. We stumbled across this one straight away. Great camo. TFTH
We decided to head to this area and do some exploring. We found a great variety of caches and some really neat containers .
We had an idea about this one and luckily for us it didn't take too long to find . A favourite from us.

On a caching run in the Serpentine Jarrahdale area today, in which I found 7 and hid 2, this was the sixth find of the day.
Having noted the cache name and then seeing what was here, I immediately and correctly guessed what type of hide it was - coincidentally, I made a similar cache last week and had hidden it earlier today as a lab cache (the camo didn't quite function as it should, so I decided to treat it as a prototype, and hide as lab cache so it's not wasted).
Signed the log and left a path tag. Thanks for the hide Petensoaf - giving it a fav, because it's a cool idea well executed ... great minds think alike.
Log is damp, but serviceable ... probably should be replaced.

Did a morning trip to Jarrahdale, picked up a few caches around town.
Didn't tackle anything too hard, as it was too hot.
This cache was an easy find, and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache, Petensoaf.

Decided to drop in here after leaving a friends house (local) and before returning home. A quick find with excellent coordinates. SL. A great hide that would pass all but the closest inspection. Thanks for the cache
Nick quick find. I was only saying to subtrekgianttoybush a few hours ago I should make a cache like this and low and behold...you already did. Love your work and a favorite point coming your way!
We came to the area due to the nearby new cache to go for a FTF and after that success we saw this was close and interesting so headed over through the light scrub. We distrubed a few roos and soon got to GZ. A quick check of the surrounds and we saw something and then we soon had cache in hand. We opended it up and completed the signing duties before re hiding TFTC

Out for a day of exploring Jarrahdale & surrounds with my family today... Dad found this cache! Thanks Petensoaf
A pleasant little walk led us to this one, and although we were prepared for a bit of a search, the container and camo were found in three separate pieces on the ground . Sadly also, the log was quite wet ... even though it hard to see how this container can let let moisture in [?]
We dried it out as best we could in the drizzly weather, and returned it as it was meant to be presented. TFTC Petensoaf

Spent a sunny spring Sunday with Happy Jacks 55 doing the bush ranger series on Albany Highway, Jarradale and picking up a few stragglers on SW Highway on the way home.
Took a bit of looking but found it in place and good condition. TFTC Gets another favorite.

Tricky one. Was about to give up and one last attempt at locating it. YEP it was in my hand quite easily. Brilliant! TFTC HJ55
Best camouflage yet. Tricky. Started looking in wrong place and nearly gave up then read more logs and found shortly afterwards.
Found it on the ground hidden. Put it back where it belongs. Needs some maintenance. Easily falls apart. Log book is very wet. Might need replacement.
Found with J+J.au while on a caching holiday to WA. Greetings from N.S.W. SL..TFTC
Beautiful bush, found cache on the ground clear view, moisture effected, mobbed it out and Reid it. TFTC
This took some finding, but we got it. Found and left in its correct spot. TFTC.
A bit of 'immediate temporary repair' and the cache should be all good to go again. . .although the whole container is getting a little delicate.
Might have to completely reconstruct the container before too long I think!

Nice camo but we found it laying on the ground, have put it back where it's meant to be, tftc
Cache was found on the floor, placed back where it should be but it's very unstable and will come off again, tftc
We expected something special with the cache and we did not go away disappointed.
After some elimination caching moves we spied the culprit, my hats off to you sir I have seen several like t but this one is a cracker. nice placement as well.
A Fav point from us.
Thanks

found my the middle geokid from the Brycies very sneaky we like (hint peeps its not on the ground) TFTC
our second time back to this cache...we didn't find it the first time..took jordan5 with us for some fresh eyes but it was my geo kid that found it!!! awesome, awesome , awesome!!!!
We took Wileyclans approach to this one after completing the nearby cache we headed straight over the road and down the trail. With Geohubby taking the lead we ended up heading bush . Arrived a GZ and took a short while to locate container ( have seen a few of these now but they are still not the first thing you look at)
After signing the log we noticed a rather wide path just a few yards away and decided to take that way out
Back to Geomobile and on our way TFTC Petensoaf

Excellent camo. GPSr was struggling to get a good reading. Stared at the cache for a while, but before we went for it another geofamily arrived. They duly found the cache, revealing it's sneaky location. TFTH
Found it. Making the most of the winter sun and last day of school holidays, we decided to pack the car for a day of cache hunting. This was the general area we were heading and with a few other caches ticked off we headed to the pub for lunch. We soon arrived at GZ to find Razorej searching as well. They were rather stumped so we searched together. We soon had prize in hand. Both parties signed the log and returned to its home. Great camo job. Cheers Petensoaf
Love the camouflage. Despite making a pretty good guess what it would look like, still took us a while. TFTC
So after returning to football for geoson today, we decided to enjoy a wonderful day and grab some caches in the Serpentine area.
OK, so there are easy ways of getting to this cache and there are hard ways. I did not read the listing so after grabbing the nearby multi cache, we headed along the paths opposite the cemetery. When they turned in the wrong direction, we decided to bush bash across to ground zero. That was fun!!
Arrival at ground zero saw the three of us spread out and a short time later geowife said to check a particular place. Geoson did and he is still telling us that it is his find as he grabbed it!
Nice work on the cache container Petensoaf, one of the better ones I have seen
Thanks for the cache
Cheers

Clever, clever clever, and it was the non-cacher in our crowd that found it. He might be hooked after that clever hide. Many thanks.
Well named cache, and clever hide too. "One of many" around here, and one of the lucky ones to have survived the fire. Thanks Petensoaf
Bit of searching with the cache eyes on and after about 5 minutes we had it. Signed the log. TFTH
This cache is certainly the best camouflaged cache I have ever seen and am giving this a favourite point for this reason. Took a little time to spot and was only because I observed it from all directions that the mystery was solved. TFTC
Out and about around Jarrahdale with trevkevred today.
Very nicely done, this was the favourite of the day

Out with Me&B in Jarradale, she spotted it before me, clever hide and it gets a favourite from me. Out of 17 finds today this was the only memorable one. TFTH Petensoaf
A quick find by mrs allys angels once we entered using the correct path. Love a camo especially the ones I find:)
Not much ground cover here after a fire has been thru.
A very easy hide as I have a cache much the same.

Scouting about with AmstradKid, while looking for some possible cache hides, he decided to pick up this cache. Wow this has become a 1.5 difficulty since I was last here, a scrub fire has changed the GZ and surrounded areas... AK found this one to easily...
Heading south to the Manjedal Event with Richlink and iluvtrekking for a 'big day out' caching. We all are enjoyed search and signed the log. Thanks Petensoaf. [^] [^] [^]
I had a fair idea what to look for....
Still took a few minutes longer than i thought to find it.
Well done

Out on a full days caching today, Mrs Felix, The Machman and MickeyDV.
Parked at the road block and made for a short walk. Was reading the description and The Machman already had the cache in hand, but never said a word!
Great job on the cache, but we have found many similar previously.
Glad it survived the fire, hope things green up again soon.
TFTC Petensoaf, a favourite point here for a great job on the camo.

Quality Cache with quality camo...
A good job you had the foresight to make it fire retardant as well.
Many thanks.

Yes, we were looking for a burnt plastic mound amongst the blackened ground but found it safe and sound.....Great hide!! One of my favorites!
A very creative geocache! It blends in with the environment really well, and thankfully survived the recent burning off in the area. Good job Petensoaf!
The fire has certainly reduced the areas that may have been in the search pattern previously. Geo-hubby spotted this great camo - not sure how as I was looking elsewhere. The log was signed and camo reinstated within minutes of our arrival. Well done Petensoaf.
You are kidding!..LOL..We spent about 15 mins looking around for any charred remains because of the burn off. We really didnt expect to find anything and perhaps the search was half hearted because of that. I cant believe its still there!..Glad it is though.
It's still there
It was slightly blackened by the fire - and it probably all the more difficult to find for it - but it is still there and intact. . .

Once the GPS got me to the right GZ I had a quick find. A bit different from the others of this type of cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
On a little caching run this afternoon to get so exercise in the Jarrahdale area. Armed with the description and cache name we had an idea what we were looking for.. It took the GPS'r a while to settle. When it did Keego's keen eyes spotted the cache. He had seen a few recently in the Southern suburbs.

After a week of working in the garden to prepare for the summer, the wife allowed me a day of caching, not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I decided to grab a few caches around Armadale. A great day for a drive and as it turned out few Muggles .
Thanks Petensoaf for providing the reason to wander through the forest here. I was flanked on either side by a small kangaroo mob. Arrived at the indicated spot and had the cache quickly to hand. I love the camo, and would like to think I was very clever, but the truth is that I have used this idenitical camo for one of my own caches. Loved the walk, looking forward to more of your hides.
