Logs
We found it - but it had fallen down into the spot we think its meant to be hidden. The log wasn't in the camo bison & was drenched. We retrieved the wet log & bison. Have taken it to dry out & ask what the CO would like us to do with it. May have been muggled to be in this condition. TNLNSL / TFTC
We found it but its been damaged. The log was out & separate to bison. Both were down hole & wet. Retrieved both with extra-long tweezers. Have taken home to dry out & contact CO to find out what needs to happen to repair. We've left it we our friends who Geocache & live next to the cricket field. Please make contact to inform us what you'd like us to do next
Came over from our 1st. Great to find it but as with crazyfour we found it but damaged.
After having lunch at one of the nearby picnic tables, we walked over to this cache.
We looked for a little bit but could not find it.
We returned to the picnic table, had some fruit and CHOCOLATE and then went back to the search.
Soon enough I came up with the goods - I swear I had already looked there.
Looking back at past logs we had a chuckle reading our friends The Vikings' log: Hopefully the structural integrity of the bridge has not been compromised

Ahh, finally!
After a string of DNFs and with the evening almost over, rushed to this one to keep the streak going.
Found Ground Zero quickly and started poking around, probably putting my hands in spots that they shouldn't be because of spiders.
Was getting a little concerned that I might have to walk to another one to find tonight's cache, but sure enough, tried the other side, and... what's this... bingo!
Great cache, very clever setup, impressive camo.
Thanks for the cache!

Wandered across from poles to have a look . Was the second thing I out my hand on. Was good to sign a fresh log almost like a FTF . Nicely done TFTC

This cache was probably my most trying ever! Finally got it, and only after two visits and many a hint TFTC.
Rocked up to GZ and there was barely a muggle in sight. Sat down and the first thing I put my hand on....I thought what's this? TA DAA CIH. Now whilst log was a lil damp, more effort was in getting the log out than making the find...managed to scribe my name and place it back to its home. TFTC
Came through this way on the way home, and was able to ink (well, pencil, in the pouring rain) this log, as the other day the camo has disconnected from the container. A LOT more water flowing under the bridge than a few days ago!
#550
Thanks TS.

Thanks TS.
Back on line don't disconnect the bison like a previous cacher has done ( not you BB),cheers.
OK Team Sunderland. We love your other caches but this one is driving me crazy! 2nd day there today with our team of 4 and still nothing!!! Under, over, around, under, over, around.... Have read all previous logs and still came up blank! Someone today thought we were panning for gold lol. U too good for us this time but we will be back soon with fresh eyes. Thanks for the effort you go to with your hides...well done
Log sheet is full. So while I was staring longingly at my floating pen, a man and his wife wondered what was so interesting in the creek and he sees my pen and offers to rescue it for me. Oh sweet happiness I have my pen back.
The hint said I didn't have to get wet but nothing about my pen good thing I always carry a couple but that was a fav of mine. After help from CO and also SIH, I managed to find this tricky hide and my cache streak remains alive. I really want my pen back it's just floating but it's yucky down there oh well I SL #483 on day #84 my poor pen I'm sorry please forgive me, if I wasn't such a girl I would jump in and save you. Where is Sparky when I need her??? TFTC I think did I mention I dropped my pen in the creek?

Too many Muggles and even with a hint from SIH I was still unable to locate the cache, not to worry I found Our 1st to keep the streak alive today.
Found it on a sunny Sunday out with evangt. I think we were very lucky here as evangt found it almost straight away, we could have been here for quite awhile. Very clever camo. Another Team Sunderland special. TFTC
Out on yet another glorious Sunday morning with Footyfanatics. The days just keep getting better. You
wouldn't read about it. Found cache immediately upon arrival. First thing I put my hand on. What a find. So chuffed with myself. Signed log and replaced. TFTC

Cool hide. I checked here and overlooked it at first, then JYGE came up with the goods.
TFTC.
TFTC.
This was a clever hide, a great start to a day of caching on a sunny rostered day off work.
Found on a fun day of caching in the hills- and cycling 20kms!
Nice hide, I went over it, under it, one side and then BOOM! There it was. A nice hide.
One log gave a substantial hint and my suspicions were confirmed once arriving at GZ!
Thanks

In all this was my 5th visit here and can now get back to my life. OMG, After logging 2 DNF's here before you don't log another until you find it otherwise you can have maybe 10 DNF logs. With a hint it might there, and you know what I checked all on one of my other visits. SL TFTC
Haha! Knew I could get to it from there. In the dark I found something that could be it? Lucky! Well done again. Half a log sheet remains
Muggles.
I managed to get a good break in between them and their dogs... so off I went looking at every bit of that bridge (without getting my feet wet!)
More and more muggles approached.. so... I reverted to PAF option, with a little encouragement form Steveishere (thanks mate) I was on track... so with no muggles, I made a bolt, and had the cache in hand, SL and replaced.
Another quality one TS!

sidoney took me along to this cache to get a feel for a skilfully placed cache, and I was frankly stumped! I didn't have as much trouble as others seem to have had with muggles, but I couldn't find the cache nonetheless. I looked under the bridge, in the stream, in the trees nearby, nothing! I'll come back to this one one day, it *must* be found.
Sneaky hide! Took a while but found the spot. Much easier with fewer muggles about!
Took Geofamily on an afternoon of caching. We couldn't find this one, because we didn't actually have the cache notes with us. So we will definitely come better prepared next time and ensure we have all notes for this one. Thanks for bringing us to Sparky's special place. Next time it will be special for us as well when we find the cache.
1105, GAFF3, Geoson and I arrived at GZ and spent the next 15 minutes searching high and low, we widened our area of search and came up empty handed.
After a few minutes to clear our heads and start over, we went back to GZ and the first thing we put our hands on moved, aha, a clever hide
Another well thought out and clever cache by Team Sunderland, makes micros much more enjoyable
SL, log slightly damp, dried in the sun for a few minutes.
TFTC for another challenging cache Team Sunderland

Had to check poles apart across the road so popped in to check this on its still there good to go, thanks to all the cachers that have found this and replaced it exactly .cheers.
After spending some time at GZ I had spotted a few possibilities but none of them proved succesful. In the end I tried the PAF option which indicated I was looking at the right things, but despite the encouragement none of them yielded me a cache. Not sure what I was doing wrong in the end. Oh well, one to revisit another time. Thanks Team Sunderland.
Did cache check this Arvo the cache is still nicely tucked away, coords to 2mtrs,cache on!
What can I say, I read nice easy hide in some earlier logs but I was walking in circles from all 4 corners of the bridge. Try again soon
TFTC Found with happypaintball. Kids had a great time with their canal leaf race.
Another great hide team Sunderland.
First cloudy day In ages and GPS would not settle. I tried all avenues and all corners of the area and ended up finding it in the first place I looked but only after much searching in the wrong spots.
I ended up sitting down to look at google maps and what do you know a short time later Found it!
So simple but so effective..

Quick detour to real life. Nice hide. I always think people who do caches like this are so clever. TFTC
This was my third attempt at this cache, and today it took two visits, one solo and one with two former finders to finally put this one to rest. The problem was that a paf insisted it was on the other side of the bridge from where it was....
Very clever TS, very clever indeed.
Very clever TS, very clever indeed.
Mr S headed out with Sensible Sis and the boys for a quick caching trip. Sensible Sis had already found this one, so was able to provide a hint. Very clever hide, and we'll certainly enjoy finding other Team Sunderland caches. TNLNSL TFTC
I had fun throwing leaves into the creek and watching them float away. The nearby playground was fun too.
A nice park and playground. One day I'll be able to ride my scooter here like my big brother.
Easy Find but again the quality is right up there, Thanks for showing it to me, great spot too, I had to wait out a family of muggles before I could make my assault, what is it about this bridge that makes people hang around?? Oh it's Sparky's special place...
Out on a glorious afternoon, with very few muggles about. Took a little while to find this one, it is so well camoed. A great hide, thanks Team Sunderland.
After failing to get Our 1st due to the cricket game in progress we needed this. Couldn't believe how easy this was. Sometimes you can just fluke them and then othertimes you can search and search.
Great bit of design work. I was worried the construction activity might have interferred with it but it is ready to find.

Well it will teach me a lesson to read the details more carefully. After mixing up the D & T, so if this is a T-3 where would it be, must be under there so was disappointed when covered in dirt, dust and webs I didn’t find it. So upon extracting myself from under - there it was! So while dusting myself off geo-wife said it’s not a T-3 but a T-1.5 which made perfect sense for its location, thanks. I did enjoy the T-3 challenge, and congratulations on the very cleverly designed cache.
A few less people around tonight made it much easier to find this sneaky one.
Cheers

G'day again found this morning b4 going to work. Again gotta whinge. worry about these BRILLIANT beautiful hides, the genius that created them WITHOUT actually damaging property being archived like thewellishere.
Gotta stop this griping.
Thanks for clever cache.

Unlike "Poles Apart" I can't claim to have found this cache and had an issue. I simply didn't find it. Thanks
Very sneaky, it took us 2 trips but we found it in the end, after I noticed something was ever so slightly amiss.
Lot's of effort went into constructing this one - TFTC!

Found it with Trillian (actually, she did all the work, I just drove her there)
Brilliant little hide from Team sunderland, got in early enough in the day that there was few muggles around. TFTC

Even with a direct hint from a paf we couldn't find this one. Perhaps with all the work that has gone on around here it is MIA?
Spent a good 20mins searching for this one but to no avail. Must be a good hide!
Like the previous geocacher, I searched for about 10 minutes but a group of youth set up nearby so I decided to leave for another day. Well concealed.
Had a cursory scan, but will have to wait for another day before investigating a few possibilities in depth. Too many muggles
Couldn't do a real search, as the $3m was employing some workers who were just a few metres away from GZ.
Second cache after the DNF at Bifrost, walked over from Our 1st. A lot of remedial work going on along the creek with workers everywhere and fences up. Luckily you can still access GZ and we had a good look before making the find of another well-thought out and constructed cache. How do you come up with these? Signed and replaced with the muggle workers none the wiser.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Wandered across from "our first" with Yurt and found several landscapers working nearby. After briefly surveying the possibilities in a most nonchalant manner, we pounced on one but it wouldn't budge. But, very close by was the quite impressively hidden little cache. Nicely done.

Cache #898; GAFF3; Weather, Raining; Helpers, None; Condition, Good; Finds2Day, 2nd; STATUS, Found; GPSr @ GZ, 2m
I saw that this was a mere few hundred metres away from Poles Apart and what's this another Team Sunderland cache...Oh My...Why not. I drove over and then walked to GZ. Read the descritpion and started my search. After a short while I checked the hint and wondered if I needed to be somewhere else. The rain wasn't giving up and neither was I, so I continued my search. I went for a TAF (Txt A Friend), and as usual, once it was sent, I saw something amiss. Had a closer look and BAM, found the beaut camo and cache. CLEVER !!! SL and replaced, keeping everything as dry as I could. Well done TS...**FAV** from me, and TFTC.

A great hide! We spent ages dodging muggles and dogs so we resorted to a Phone-A-Friend.

Quick find. Luckily we had the right idea otherwise it could have easily been a long search.
Once I got to GZ I thought I knew the kind of thing I would be looking for, just had to work out which one. I think I actually had my hand on it before returning later for another look. Great hide.

A special place indeed! I had quite a search here before I was finally successful.
The cache was finally given away by accurate published coordinates and an accurate terrain rating . . .
Full marks to Team Sunderland for another interesting hide, well placed and well camouflaged. I confess I was nearly ready to give up when I returned to 'the spot' for the third time!
It's always a pleasure to look for those caches that show extra work and imagination.
All was in very good order, nice and dry. TNLNSL.

Did this cache early on a Sunday morning when most of us would normally be asleep in bed. So with no muggles out and about, I went in search of this 3 and a half star cache and thought that if the terrain is only 1 and a half star it shouldn't be to far. Well! What a great and well constructed cache. Signed log and I was off to do some more.

I was not going to be denied the continuation of my October caching streak, even in the rain! Headed over to KL to go after the second Team Sunderlands caches as I knew it would be worthwhile after theie first attempt.
Took about 15mins to find and required a little bit of curiousity.
Very nicely done indeed!
