Searched high and low, couldn't find anything that was even remotely reminiscent of a geocache. Drats.

Hmmm. Found this - it has no log sheet, no swaps, and no thing but a receipt in an otherwise empty container. Will log a needs maintenance.
The cache has no log sheet. It probably isn’t set up the way it was intended either. Needs at least a log sheet.
Found on April 11th this year. Still no new log sheet and a difficult grab if you are not tall.
Found with CARKISSER on mega week away.
Parked near by soon had cache in hand.
Took nothing left only footprints.

Still on our way home from Clearwaters Mega. JSando needed coffee. I needed a cache. We settled in for what we thought would be a long and detailed search, but I spotted the cache very quickly, just by standing in the right spot and glancing in the right direction. TFTC

I DNFd this cache more than 3 years ago, so I was quite keen on avenging that this time round. Despite the Easter holiday crowds GZ was very quiet so we could search. And search. And search.
The clue lyrics narrowed nothing down for us, but obviously when everywhere else had been eliminated the only thing that remained was the cache hiding place .
Thanks grey nomads/Poiter.h.

Find #4180. Found @ 10:48 with The Good Lady Wife and j-bean.
On the way to the Clear Waters Mega event in Queanbeyan and taking the coastal route to collect some country maps. This was an opportunistic find on a leg stretch stop.
It took me a few minutes to get my bearings and to exhaust my initial misconceptions on the hide. It was only after taking a different approach that I spotted something different.
There was only a single post-it page in the container to sign, but sign it I did.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

I think I found it but it has been tampered with. Will leave a makeshift log. Please let me know if I can claim it as a find. Thanks.
I love a good cache and this is one of them. Left a trinket for next catcher. Tftc
We spent way too long here in pouring rain, over, under, around, you name it. Read through some logs and used the hints in there to try and figure it out. One huge hint had us honed in on something in particular which was at odds with the surrounds, but it was empty. Hrmm.. sent the CO a msg asking for a simple yes/no, then wandered over to the Wooden Squirrel for lunch - and omg, highly, highly recommend this place!! Still raining when we finished, but by then a large group of teenagers had made themselves at home. Decided to head off and find some other caches - we did the lengthy but amazing Bairnsdale Bombers cache - received a reply from the CO and headed back to the rotunda, but the teenagers had multiplied significantly, so will have to try again next time we come up this way. Oh well.
In town for the holidays and walked past this cache - only to find it's missing?
Check the logs - find it's been replaced.
Oh - I get to find it again. Had a couple of quick looks (not easy in the middle of the summer school holidays). No joy.
Had to do some shopping and told the Geokids that I'd meet them at the Rotunda. I get there and the youngest one announces he'd found the cache.
Log signed.

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we tried to found a lot of caches. This was unfortuanetly one of those we did not found.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

Found on Melbourne Cup Eve. I have tried for this cache before but in vain. Today I was down in BAIRNSDALE for the day from Dargo. I notice a couple clambering all over the rotunda and guessed what they were up to. I went over, introduced myself, and got stuck into searching with them. First time I’ve encountered another cacher at a GZ (except for events) They were IRVOFAM, lovely folks and Mr IRVOFAM made the find. I doubt I would have got it without them. Thanks for the help guys. I can forget about this cache now. Thanks for cache placement
CO, nice to meet some fellow cachers here. Gets a face from me just for the experience.

This one had a stumped, we tried once, no luck, came back a few hours later and encountered Virbull who spotted what we were doing and came over to help! Eventually spotted after looking under instead of.... TFTC! And thanks Virbull!
Seeing this one pop back up and with some time on my side I decided to go for the hunt.
Arrived at Ground Zero to find a muggler sitting up stairs so I waited patiently for her to muggle off then I had the hide in hand.

I had a pretty good look around here.
A couple of items piqued my interest but I couldn't get them to budge.
I googled the hint and was confident I was searching the correct area.

DNF here (due to dark) with Crank1 on our way home from OZ Geo Muster Event after stayed at Bega and Canberra for a night each. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
Searched everywhere. Must be miss out somewhere. We will

Left home this morning on my way to the Oz Geo Muster for Easter. Decided to do what any other cacher would do, and cache my way there. Today was a trip I have done many times as I travel the first leg of the journey to Eden, NSW. The difference is I am going solo, which means no family muggle members to whinge about how many times I stop.
This was my 2nd DNF for the day. Unfortunately as I went under to start discovering the possibilities, an enormous 8 legged creature appeared under where I was about to put my hand. That was it for me. I took off about 100 miles a second and was back in my car before I knew it and still shaking!
I think I will wait till I have someone with me to try this one again.

I was on my way to Melbourne via the Monaro so made a stop to look for this cache on the way down.
Parked the car right near gz and as I headed over towards the obvious, I realised that there were going to be many possible hiding places - and levels. Twisted, turned, and pulled lots of things with no luck. So then I resorted to the hint and found the answer which helped to narrow down the search. That is a very tricky hide! Took a few more moments to soak in this beautiful old rotunda - one of the nicest I've seen.
Then it was back in the car to continue my journey. TFTH

Wasn’t successful with this one even we looked around for quite a while. But at least - always having been a fan of INXS - I learned something new about them
Had a quick look on the way to a cafe for lunch. Spent about 5mins looking with Adam but with the heat and too many nooks and crannies to check we gave up. Will try again when passing through next time
Taking a long drive on a family holiday to Merimbula and managed to convince everyone else to at least make a few stops along the way to settle my caching nerves at all the hides I was driving past without looking for.
I became more and more frustrated as I searched here thinking that I must have looked right at it several times but something just wasn't clicking. After using the hint I received a somewhat confusing clue that didn't really help me zero in on anything. After more searching I rechecked the internet for the clue again and found another possibility that made a bit more sense and finally I found the hide. Very clever and the best sort of hide that just stares straight at you mocking you. Thanks for the challenge and the cache.

Awesome cache. Took us half an hour to find but were eventually rewarded with the find. Nice camo. Favourite point from us.
Grabbed a coffee form the nearby coffee shop and had a look for this one. There were plenty of people wandering around which made it kind of hard, I couldn't spot it. I'll be back another day, thanks anyway.

An event, a trip to see koalas, and then back to the mainland to find this cache and head to the location of a CITO tomorrow.
It's another day in what will be an almost three month journey for me and micaparamedic with new things to see along the way. Today we had breakfast in Lakes Entrance with friends and then headed to this event. Upon recommendation, after the event we headed over to Raymond Island and found koalas. That was an event all on its own. We also saw a Burrunan Dolphin on the return ferry trip. It was one more very good day.
We started our travels when micaparamedic arrived at my place in late July, visiting the Yukon and Northwest Territories in Canada, attending the Mega APE event in Washington, and camping in Oregon to be in the direct path of a total solar eclipse. There were other shorter trips to find special caches and see geologically related spots of interest before we headed to Australia.
Now he is showing me his country, and it's incredible. My bucket list had included walking around Uluru, and now I can cross that off. I also wanted to see some Australian outback, and now that is also crossed off. There are a few more things planned on this journey that will be crossed off as well, one of them this evening. Dreams are coming true on what will be just under 3 months of traveling together.
Thanks for a cache at a beautiful location.

Found on a road trip to Bairnsdale with Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick and Pinkpiggy7. PP7 and I had a bit of a look for this unsuccessfully last night while waiting for a pizza. Returning in the light of day, and with a slight nudge from a previous finder we were onto it quite quickly this time. A clever hide, this one gets a favourite from us. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache
After leaving the event today, this was the first on my list, with so many favourite points I reckoned it would have to be pretty good to survive in the middle of the Main Street. Unsure of whether we should be upstairs, downstairs, or in my lady's chamber, I was delighted that I spotted it so quickly. A little trickier to remove however. Nevertheless it gets a point for my favourite cache of the day. Very ingenious.
Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, at 1400. We had a DNF here last time we were in Bairnsdale. A great old structure from a bygone era. During a close, methodical search today, David finally spotted something that didn't quite make sense, and there it was. Great camo, and a FP. Our thanks to Poiter.h.
We had a quick.look laat night while waiting for pizza with no joy. This morning we were straight into it. Nice camo a fav
Looked for about 15 mins. Unsure what we were looking for and wow. What a great hide. Tftc. Great cache. Favourite from me
Ha! This one had us looking for a little while but our muggle friend spotted it. A bit tricky but got the log signed while trying to look inconspicuous. TFTC
All eyes out looking but still had us stumped will have to wait for back up next time geo family visit
Heading off on a weeks holiday in the High Country and an overnight stop in Bairnsdale planned. What better way to kill a few hours, than to grab some of the local caches.
Jan walked straight up to this one as I looked elsewhere, so a quick easy find to her here. Must give a favourite here for this well hidden cache.
Thanks Poiter.h/Greynomads for this placement.

On a work trip to Bairnsdale and thought I would have another look for this one (minus the second mountain ranger). Found something that looked like it but there was no log. I have sent a message to geocache owner ...
Not being familiar with the band mentioned in the hint, we consulted Mr Google before we got out of the GeoPrado. Wasn't much help to us though. We headed for GZ anyway, and searched high and low for 10 minutes or so, then admitted defeat. Aarrgh! Only one from four so far. Not a very good start for the day. Our thanks anyway to Poiter.h.
I went a Waltzing Matilda around Bairnsdale today
Looking for caches in places of interest [^]
Here I was girt by bandstand,
and couldn't see a cache anywhere
Even waking up the 'dumb phone' and working out what the clue meant didn't help [:o]
So what is going on here ??
It's got me thinking !!
Why does this cache have so many favourite points !!
What am I missing ??
I'll be back !!
This DNF is annoying me

After my second attempt at this one looking from a different angle the cache was finally found. TFTC
We spent ages looking for this one, and then a stranger asked what we were looking for. We told them and they spotted it almost strait away!
Did not find after 1 hr found a grey small barrel nothing in it never mind will find next time
Found with Webbys We R on the 26/4/14 but did not have my own account because I am a geokid
Took a while but noticed something a bit out of place and thought I'd give it a try, very good hide
Geowife found it eventually after i had already spent some time here alone. Fortunately the street was quite busy and hot so we didn't look out of place resting in the shade underneath.
Previous logs were more helpful than the hint which only made sense to us after we found it.
Great camo and a fave point awarded for your imagination. Tftc

It took us a while to find this one. We understood the clue so narrowed it down somewhat. All 8 were looking but after reading a log we had an idea what to look for. Geo daughter culverts said what about this? After some investigation the log was in hand.

I had an hour for myself that I used to walk a bit along the mainstreet of Bairnsdale. I also tried briefly to look for that cache, but quickly realized that I was actually not really in the mood to pay attention to fine details. So I quickly gave up and rather looked for a place, where I could buy some coffee.
Today we headed to Sale using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. After trying last time we made an easy find when we worked out what level the cache was at.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I just have to say that i love my geo-kid!!!! We have been here 4 or 5 times now looking for this one. We have had the tool and read all the previous logs and yet couldnt find it. We even convinced non geocaching hubby to come along in case it was something i couldnt see because of my height..... but it was my amazing daughter who piped up and said "hey mum, this moves..." great hide. Quickly signed the log and put it back into place. Tftgc!!!
Funnily enough was actually playing here with my band tonight and thought I'd give it a look before we started. Unfortunately couldn't find it but I'll definitely be back!
Our second attempt here. We forgot to log the DNF but this one sent geowife into a thinking frenzy and she was keen to come back as she thought she knew where the pot of gold was. Sure enough after a few moments the cache was located and in hand. Definitely need an extraction tool for this one - and some patience. Thanks for the terrific cache. Glad we returned here before heading back home to Melbourne. Great last one. Oh...and yes, my wife was right.
After too many minutes looking for the cache and looking like 4 lunatics we eventually found it with some assistance from a local muggles. Thanks again to the young boy calling out to us from across the road. TFTC SL
On a trip to Paynesville to see a patient, we decided to make an overnight-trip of it, kid-free, and have a bit of fun. We made it to Bairnsdale much much sooner than we anticipated so we squeezed in a quick look here before shovelling in lunch and heading onward to Paynesville. Our first look was fruitless, but we were determined and, after being mosquito-ed out trying to cache in P-ville, we returned for the take-down. We did a little research on the hint (I had a dog named after the first track on that album, would you believe? That title was part of her official breeder's name, though she was more affectionately known as Blondie) but in the end, it didn't help and I still don't get it. Looking for anomalies did - we found a few. I unscrewed a few things that weren't supposed to be unscrewable, we had a good attack on another thing but it thankfully didn't give way because that would have done lots of damage, and we scratched our heads. Locals must think this is some sort of weirdo hangout. In the end, my size was an advantage and I spotted something odd. I asked Daddy Long legs what he thought, he had a go, and ta da! Tweezers were employed and we were so relieved to leave with a find. This would have driven us nuts if we'd not been able to sign the log. TFTC Poiter.h; very well done on a beautiful landmark. Oh alright, you can have another favourite point. Best of the 14 we found on our trip. Don't get a big head.
Passing through Bairnsdale and while we were waiting for our pizzas to cook, I went searching for this cache. Certainly took me awhile to find something that didn't quite look right, I was beginning to think this one was going to get the better of me but I knew it wasn't going to be straight forward. TFTC a fav from me as well
Well that was fun. Spent more time reading the activity comments than looking ... hubby looking for ages then I walked straight to it haha Camo comments had me looking with the right idea Will need to return to sign Thanks for the great hide
Was sitting upstairs talking to geofriend on phone begging for hints after 4 visits and saw muggles underneath only to discover geosister and geoneices looking as well. Finally found. Ingenious Poiter. Tyftf
Found after a bit of looking around, easy enough to spot when you have seen a few like this before. Nicely made
Did not find - ran out of time. Very intrigued by comments of other geocachers so will have to come back and try again.
We headed out today to find some nearby caches and this was one we found. Now this was a tricky one. We spent quite a while here searching for this cache. Luckily we found it and signed the log. Deserves a favourite. A clever and well cammoed cache.TFTC
Far out! That's an amazing cache! We stood scratching our heads next to it for a good 20min. It was only a realization that something was in different spot compared with others of its kind that made us check. Well done very sneaky
What a clever hide tricky. found between muggles.
