Here from outta town for a gig at the Eastbank and out grabbing a few random GCs where I could. Chose this one for my 81 grid and solved the epic maze ..but I get here today finally (I'm from interstate) to have a look after trying to contact CO twice in the last 4 weeks and also due to suggestion in the last two logs that it is gone but have had no reply ..and yeah I won't give anything away except to say that my guess the GC was hidden on an object where the water level at some stage came up so high that it got swept away. I have photographic evidence of where I've been looking which shows the water has come right up so I will email CO and watch this one instead of logging a DNF -hopefully we can get it active again and come back out to log a find. Good spot for a cache.
Muggle partner, Brodie and I had to do a mad dash to find some curtains.......since it appears that 15 year old Brodie doesn't like being home alone and he'd unkindly shredded the curtains where we are staying
So we went to Echuca but ended up in Shepparton and then, after finding almost matching fabric which i'll now have to spend tomorrow sewing up, I decided to try and complete Cybergran V's Cockney alphabet series.
We returned to our acommodation at 11pm after finding 17 caches , sadly also having 2 DNFs but thoroughly enjoying sightseeing around the area while doing so
DNF! How to spoil the ending of a great day out caching...with a DNF
I have wanted to get into here to find this cache for a long time however as Moneydork had previously found it, on our many trips through this area he had no reason to stop here.
Finally on my own trip and able to get in here, we all enjoyed the wander and then started looking... and looking and looking to no avail
I really hope that this cache gets replaced as i'd love to find it after seeing it showing on my GPSr so many times.
We'll be in the area for a couple more days, so if the CO would like some assistance, I can happily replace the cache and log book...although I don't have a puzzle to replace the second puzzle with.

I am logging this cache with permission from the very kind CO after showing evidence that we had looked in the right place.
Thanks so much for this opportunity and for your assistance with local knowledge [^]
I do so like a puzzle that I can actually solve and it was a nice after dark walk in to GZ which we all enjoyed
I'll almost feel like i'm not in Shepparton now that i will no longer see this unfound cache on my GPSr when i next get back here

I was careful enough on the map and checked my coordinates but no joy at the final location.
Great puzzle that I have done twice now as I lost it the first time... but made it to GZ and found no cache. Lots of grass made looking hard. Will watch this one.
I'm not that great at puzzles but I really enjoyed this one. Fun at home finding a solution and fun out and about finding the location. Just a shame the log was more easily accessible than it was obviously designed to be. A little maintenance on this one would make it twice the fun but still worth a favourite point from me anyway.
SL TFTC (another kamikaze cacher conquest)
P.S. Log full. Needs replacing.

Did the great maze at home , took a few days , today in shepparton for footy, took a short detour to grab this , unfortunately the puzzle inside is broken and when I picked it up the ball fell out and could not be found . Great idea , needs a sturdier puzzle in cache. Tftc
Our first visit to Sheppardton, staying for a few days to cache around the area.
It took us a while, but we had a lot of fun doing the puzzle.
Unfortunately, part 2 was damaged, which gave us easy access. CO should check.
Many thanks for placing this cache, kamikaze cacher, for us and others to find.

After Cybergran V helped me with the coordinates, it was a quick find! TFTC and greetings from Germany
#1264 An excellent puzzle solved a little while ago. Today we were able to quickly locate the sizeable cache container full of goodies and SL once at gz - nice work and TFTC kamikaze cacher.
An event in Shepp. A chance to catch up with a good bloke from Wagga and share a few finds. Doesn't get much better...
Another of the puzzles we had solved some time back. We were heading here after the Tat event but ran out of time. Today we managed it.
Thank you for the cache kamikaze cacher. Thanks Roosta for the fun afternoon.

Another great day of caching around Shepparton with WazzaAndWenches after the EC event.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds. We found it still broken and easy to open.
Thanks for the cache kamikaze cacher and Wazza for the experience,

Just realised I haven't logged this! I know this place quite well! Beautiful location for a cache and a really clever puzzle and cache container combo. I brought Lachie with me today and he was rapt by the assortment of swaps but in the end decided to keep the toy car I had just bought him minutes earlier.
Thanks for reviving this location!

Must be honest and Dad and GeoTilly helped me with this one. I like this spot as I came here before for another cache and today we found a munzee as well!
#6082 Well this was an Amazing experience . Starting with the puzzle......certainly not one to do whilst tired or under the weather - quite easy to go cross-eyed! Fortunately the co-ords eventually came together that the checker agreed with which meant that we could seek the cache out today. We had GZ to ourselves and Bulletproof4 soon had the container in hand. Unfortunately an aspect of this cache seems to have had the "brute force" approach applied to it, we all thought it quite sad that this type of thing occurs (although accidents do happen). Still we thought that the effort gone into the creation of this puzzle and container is well done, thought the location of GZ to be in a pretty area as well. Our thanks to kamikaze cacher for your placements around the Shepp area. Cheers [^]
Spending a little time caching in Shepparton on our way home from an event in Tatura. his cache had been solved for quite sometime and just haven't had the chance to grab it until today. My last caching spree in Shepp was in 2011 and there was a LOT more caches back then and even in the vicinity if this one [;P] Gz is a very beautiful area and would love to spend some more time there again in the future. Pity to see that the unique container was inappropriately manhandled to death but glad to see that the cache was still in play Thanks for the fun 'kamikaze cacher'
Sadly the final container had been disrespected by a previous finder. Would love to have seen in working order. Thanks for the hide and the great concept.
Found cache at GZ but only after fellow cachers did the hard puzzle. Thanks and shame about the broken puzzle, obviously someone had mistreated it. TFTC
Found it
however the top of the maze cube has been ripped off and needs to be repaired.

Little disappointing container has been broken, new one ordered and on way, cache can still be logged for time being
Found with dad on out geocaching day out. Nice get for one of the 7 souvenirs of August challenges.
#825 Waited to find this as part of the 7 challenges of August. Nice part of the town this spot. Thanks for the puzzle and cache! Cheers.

At last, a rainy day, so I made the most of the opportunity to work on the puzzle to release the log. And I did it with the help of a small 'attractive' assistant that was not present when I last tried to complete it but was attached this time. Thank you very much for this helping hand. It made it all so much easier....but it still took over an hour to complete. I was so happy to complete today's caches. It's a favourite for me. TFTC. I retrieved both the TB's from the cache 'just in case' as stormy weather was expected.
Find #1409. Found @ 19:15 with LouiseAnn on a caching adventure "ticking the box, a P81 odyssey" to Shepparton.
We'd completed my must do caches, but had also solved some puzzles in preparation for today's adventure. We decided to pick up a few of them before heading home. LouiseAnn had worked hard on the puzzle and so we had to come for this one.
We visited here just as it was getting dark, and unfortunately found a whole lot of nothing. We went elsewhere and LouiseAnn pinged the CO. As we arrived at the other cache we got confirmation of where we were looking and some extra information.
After completing our current cache, we returned and even with the extra information we still couldn't find it. It was now dark, cold and raining and we were getting pretty filthy.
It was only on the billionth check of the same spot, I happened to have my head torch pointed in just the right way to spot the container (it looked like it was way in there).
We retreated to the car to attempt to gain access to the log. We took turns in trying and were getting nowhere until I had a brainwave. Not too long after that and the log was signed.
I was so focused on the task at hand that I failed to notice my sugar levels had dropped a bit too much. After some medicinal lolly bananas and an apple (real), it was decided that dinner was in order.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache and for getting back to us promptly kamikaze cacher.

SirJ-Oz and I headed north for the 'Ticking the box, a P81 odyssey'. There were a few caches on the target list and this was one of them.
It had been a slow day at work, so I set to work on the maze. I printed it out 3 times, assuming I'd make a few errors.... Turned out I didn't need them, I got it in one go! Unfortunately our hunt didn't go as smoothly as that. We had two goes, in the dark and the rain and I think it was the wetness that foiled of hunting, as neither of us search one area well enough the first time, since we didn't want to get that wet.... Got it in the end. Then the next part of the puzzle was on. SirJ-Oz was the one to come up with a most excellent method for solving this final puzzle, and thankfully had the tools on board to implements it (no it wasn't a hammer, although I did mention this) We got it open and signed the log. I also left a couple of trackable (A koala and a clog). Then it was well and truly time to head off for dinner.
We picked this cache up at 7:26pm.

I've discovered the cache but have not been able to open it! My eyes go fuzzy and I can't remember where I've been and I'm all over the place yet I'm always returning to the same spot. What a pest. I'll try again another time when I have hours and hours (or maybe days) to spare. I've given it a good workout today though. Thank you KC for this wonderfully challenging cache.
The maze part was much quicker to do than the logbook! That took us ages, but fortunately there's a lovely park bench and the kiddo walked along the water's edge under the trees and it was serene and awesome. All of us took a shot at the logbook puzzle, even when we worked out where it needed to go the coordination to get it there was lacking *grins*
Thanks for a beautiful afternoon.

What a great maze that was, took a while but we got the co-ords in the end. Found with Cybergran V. A great location TFTC
I loved this one, it took me ages to solve the maze then I'm glad
Wozzle68 was on hand to help retrieve it and return it. My 7th find and the most satisfying one to solve. Thanks for the thought that went into this one

On this the first day of 2014...we were headed from Nathalia via Shepp to Wagga Wagga...and so stopped by to pick up a few caches along the way. One of the few puzzle caches I was able to find on my trip down south from Newcastle...and once I was at GZ...my suspicions of what I might find there were confirmed. Having done a few of these now...it didn't take long to extract the log. I remember the Team Rubik cache that was here very well...and in a touch of irony...bumped into the man himself later in the day! It was great to catch up.
Gratias Team Kamikaze.

A team effort with Jeubaloo. What an amazing cache. I sniffed it out easily but it was up to the humans to unlock the key to the log. I'm not much for signing the log anyway but they got it.

I really liked this cache, right from the start to the final find.
The puzzle took me a good 20 minutes to get through. I was doing it on the computer and kept losing my place within the maze. I probably should have printed it off or opened it in ‘paint’ but I ended up getting it done either way.
I had the day off today so I decided to take the train up to Shepparton and grab a couple of caches while I was in the area. It took me about an hour to walk to GZ. I found the cache pretty quickly once I got there. The puzzle inside was pretty cool. I’ve actually seen that thing once before and I thought about creating a cache of my own using the very same object. It only took me a couple of minutes to get through the whole thing.
Thanks for the fun cache!

I printed out the maze and carefully started to colour in the dead end trails until I was able to get to the end (I didn't need to do it all). I enjoyed that, checked co-ords and they were correct so off this morning to do a shop in Shepp but get this find first. Tricky little dude as I got to the end and the thing shot past and had to start again, but solved it very quickly after that... Signed log and replaced. TFTC
After many hours of sitting and hitting many dead ends... finally the puzzle was solved.
With confirmation from another cacher on the maze, we proceeded to the coords... then more evilness ensued!!
Thankfully this part didn't take as long!!!

In town today with Haveanez to clean up some of the caches we had answers for and never have time to stop as we travel through town.
Only 1 car in the car park here today and the owner was heaps too occupied in his iphone/ipod to take any notice of me dash off to retrieve the container. I thought it was all too easy until I returned to the car with container to open it up and discover what we had to sign the log.
Was time to let the boys out for a run around while we went to work trying to retrieve that little piece of paper encased in its plasticy tomb. First I had a go, then Big Ez had go, then Mrs H had a go before handing it back to me for another go and 10 minutes after, we finally had it open.
Enjoyed the challenging aspect of this one, I suspect there might be another cache around home that might be similar that I haven't got to yet, but at least I'll be prepare if it is

Found out and about with DazRascal on a beaut puzzle day in Shepparton.
This puzzle was definately a "must print" - my eyes are bad already - LOL.
The puzzle was nutted out and popped into the solved pile for a day when we could come to Shep and today was that day.
We had a bit of a laugh when we arrived at GZ and all spent some time on retrieving the log to sign. In the end, Daz had the best patience of all.
We really enjoyed the puzzle and cache at GZ & we'd like to see Rob from Team Rubik come out of his...lets say for now, semi retirement too.
Im sure he'd like this cache, youve done a nice job.
Many Thanks Kamikaze Cacher for the adventure. Cheers.

One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick. Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane the next day to stay five days with the familay, cache with the kids and tackle the monster series in Sandgate when I had the time.
After a great time in Brisbane it was time to head back home with the fam flying and me driving. I had a scattered number of caches to collect on the way home with a couple of hundred kilometres between some of them. Cached Warwick along the way, got a FTF out of Moree then made it almost to Coonabarrabran for the night. Stopped at the scope in Coonabarrabran on the way then onto Tocumwal for the night then home.
Last day of the trip and I wanted to collect some of the puzzle caches I hadn't yet found in the area. I had the puzzle solved a while ago and once at GZ soon had the nice sized cache found. Now to get the log. A challenge to say the least but heaps of fun to do.
Thanks.

worked on the first part a while ago but have not had a chance to finish, today was a family try with nufrat, located cache quickly, but solving the next bit took a while longer and team effort. cool day so sat in the car and eventually had the problem solved. thanks kamikaze for a little brain exercise.
out with nannac, 2 heads better than 1 with some caches, this being one of them, had fun, took GC, tftc
Solved the puzzle at home in Germany.
Now, in Australia i found the box after a walk through Shepparton. Great location and a tricky logbook-container.
Thanks

Grabbed this one on the way back from Melbourne. I am not a huge fan of mazes, maybe because I have not done a lot of them, but surprised myself when I had it solved in a few minutes. Coords sorted and another surprise at GZ.... More mazes.... This took longer than the initial puzzle, and i cursed myself for not expecting it. But after about 10 mins, cache sorted, and all put away for a STF from memory. TFTC and a bit of a challenge.
micheena - Puzzle cache, O how I hate them, but I do usually have one look. Was told this one was a maze, and as I do like mazes, sat down this afternoon and worked it out. Coming up trumps with the solver, rang hubby to say we're going to Shep for tea. Explained that I had solved the puzzle but didn't know what to expect at GZ. With tree coverage playing havick with the GPS, the geohead came into action. Soon had it in hand, but Ha ha ha the next challenge. Must say if it wasn't for a slip of the finger it would have been six minutes, but as I had to start again, it took fifteen. The cache contents reminded me of a draw at home, as the kids received many one christmas. Must say really enjoyed this cache. Amazingly done Kamikaze.
You're being too kind, but thank you for the sentiments. I might have to give this one a closer look when I get some time, it sounds intriguing!
