Was with OLDWINEBOTTLE who had found this cache- needs maintenance, it's gone. Can it at least be marked as unavailable or replaced please to stop people wasting time looking?
We agree with be104 - last ceocacher(12-4-12 to try to find this cache when he stated "on close inspection of said fence it showed some damage to a potential hiding spot. am I in the right spot?" We found 2 pieces of wood, that looked like they came from the potential hiding place, on the ground below
it. The picture posted by be104 was the same potential hiding place we are referring to as well. There were school boy muggles walking by whilst we were there???

A quick "drive by" on the way home.
The cache obviously had a better start in life, but the camo seems a bit "broken" to me.

Today ended up being a pretty big caching day with 22 finds including 5 multis and The 3rd Leap event but also saw me ending up in the south west side of Bacchus Marsh at 4:00am. It's funny sometimes where you can find yourself when you follow a trail of caches you havent done. The highlight of the afternoon / evening was the event but I was very happy to finally complete the multis which have been on my radar for a long time.
After the event I travelled through Niddrie and onto Diggers Rest before ending up in Melton to grab the new caches in the area. I was able to stop the Pathy right next to GZ and quickly had the cache and was soon signing the log.
Thanks for the hide.

This was rather a clever little hide I spotted quickly.
Not easily visible to the muggle eye.
However a fairly windy day could leave this a little exposed.
I quickly signed and moved on.

Found at 1410 hrs whilst trying to add some smilies around the area!
Nice quick find! It was almost in plain view as part of the hide has come away!
A nice little park area!
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing

Hiding place has well & truly broken! Has to be repaired or maybe moved! This one will surely get muggled if not attended too!
Thanks for the cache!

Found 8.40am
Great day for a walk round a lake .... so we did. On the way back to the car we found the cache which was in plain view with no cammo and we think has been found by the dark side. The log book has had all the signed pages ripped out and there was only one small trinket inside.

Thanks ausdynamix

After an event cache in Ballan, thought we'd wander a bit further up the highway and knock over a few Melton caches. Geokid had this one in hand as soon as we hit GZ and we were off again to find some more. Thanks for the cache.
Found while on holidays from South Australia. Nice hide in spacious park. Thanks ausdynamix for the cache.
On our way to a cache we thought we would have a stickybeak at this one, it was an easy find and care had to be taken because of cars and people in the area, sadly though, the cache is showing some wear and it took time (between the cars and people) to try and hide it in the place it was found, I feel that this one may be soon spotted by passerby's and then lost for good. Still it was a good find for my sister Kerls5097 to have under her belt. Thanks again ausdynamix.

Found today after Intervening Days IV while out with Alansee to clean up the area. Nice quick find.
My thanks to ausdynamix for the cache.

We found a nearby street to park in, and made the short walk to GZ, after mistaking the hide spot, we correctd ourselves and made a quick grab before a couple walking their tiny dog.
Nice sneaky hide, great use of available space.

Found today after Intervening Days IV on a caching run with Rabbitto and The 2 Wanderers. Had to wait for a group of small muggles on bikes to move on, but then found and log signed. TFTC
Oops - nearly muddled up a couple of logs. There was still a little bit of water about after the xmas day storms. The cache was found quite quickly, but hiding again took a little longer. Thanks for the cache.

Following the Intervening Days event, we joined forces with Squalid & Robmc to put a few more smilies around Melton. There were no ducks near GZ today, however there was plenty of evidence to shoow they have spent time in the area.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt ausdynamix.

Feedback to CO: You might want to check out the cameo with this cache as we suspect it might not be as you want it - seems to be missing a section.

Found with Muzza after the event today. I was walking past it when he found the interesting hide, thanks ausdynamix.
We found this cache at 3:40pm as the 9th of 24 on our Intervening Days IV - Melton Cache Day in company of Kinkell1 and The 2 Wanderers. Two pairs of young boys on theier scooters met right next to GZ but luckily, thet parted like the Red Sea just as we arrived at the cache. The hidey bit now split in two made it difficult to replace. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found in the company of coley_babee prior to the Intervening Days event.
Cache was in the second place we looked.
The lake is a very murky colour after the rains from the storms during Christmas Day.
I feel like I've been to this lake before for a GCA cache?
Thanks ausdynamix for this cache.

Like other logs, the camo seems to have slipped a bit. We tried to replace it as best we could, but it does need some TLC.
It looks like the lake was more than a bit full over the last few days.
Thanks, Robmc.

Cache was in plain view. Tried to replace with a bit of camo but it looks like it has recently been broken. Otherwise a lovely spot and especially enjoyed the geese.

TFTC cheers Scott&Nat!

Suscoe arrived here on a cool afternoon.
A quick find, SLTNLN.
The camo is somewhat subject to luck to remain in place. Replaced as carefully as we could, hope it stays in place.
Thanks to ausdynamix for bringing us here, the water fowl were across the lake today.

I can't image that this cache will last long. The method of concealment is a little wonky and likely to fall apart any minute now.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks ausdynamix for this cache and the quick stoll past the many, many geese here today.

1st find of the day, and 3045th total find at 7:50:00 PM.
Finally had the opportunity to grab this cache. We were going to walk but one look at the rain clouds brewing convinced us to be lazy and drive.

Picked up this one without too much fuss, except for the difficulty replacing cache and covering appropriately while trying to look inconspicuous to the many passing cars TFTC ausdymamix
Just passing so I thought why not. Managed to retrieve the cache without anybody around. TFTC ausdynamix
Found by Mary & David at 0915. Enjoyed the short walk from the car park and seeing all the fat ducks and geese (made us think of Christmas dinner). Don't know this area at all. The cache was exposed as the camo had fallen off. Replaced it, but the camo remains precarious. Our thanks to ausdynamix.
Find # 3303 and 5th of the day at 2:36pm Accompanied by Wheelchair Access. it was a beautiful warm sunny day and its been nearly 6 months since I last did some caching so decided to have a day out today.Easy find,We had our lunch here and then took Kathy for a nice walk around the lake in the wheelchair. TNLN, left my mark in the log, thanx Ausdynamix....
I think I might have been 2nd to find on this one a day later.
Anyway I think you might need to work on protecting this hide a bit better if it is to last. It was clearly visiblr on both sides on my approach.
Anyway it is a really nice part of Melton here so it is well worth persevering with.
Thanks ausdynamix.

I received the notification for this about 15 minutes before finishing work for the day. As there was no rush to get home I decided to try for this one. A little out of my way, but worth the drive. Iparked the car and quickly walked to GZ and located the hide. With lots of traffic streaming along the road I tried to be as inconspicuous as possible and signed the log. Another 5 minutes later and it would have been busier still with the kids from the schools further up the road descending on the area.
I had nothing to feed the ducks and geese so took a few minutes watching others doing this.
