Traveling from California to cache in five states we need. Spent the night in Rapid City and enjoying some more caches on our way on Nebraska Thanks for sharing with us.
This road trip was hatched about a year ago by Tycoon Otto and myself. The original plan was to go back down to the US and hit some power trails, but it morphed into a 13 day, 17,500km geo-odyssey. During this road trip I had several highlights:
1) Got my 7,000th cache and well onto my way to 8,000.
2) Signed 1,026 caches in a single day (HMD power trail California).
3) Visited 18 states in one single 24 hour period.
4) Got 12 different cache types in a single day.
5) Visited "Mingo" the oldest active cache in the world.
6) Signed 1,548 caches during this 13 day period.
7) Cached in 48 states.
More importantly, there were several memories and sites I will never forget. I thoroughly enjoyed the town of St. Charles, Missouri and Cadillac ranch on Route 66.
I will post a picture of our track log in GCZ02V (Seeing Seagulls) and GCMQ1X (Weigh up), the first and last caches in this road trip.
As always caching with Tycoon Otto was a blast. Thanks again for a great caching experience.
To all the cache owners that made this possible, thanks for the cache and happy caching!!!

Traveling from Caper to Chadron to do a quick trip into Nebraska and then heading up to Rapid City, South Dakota Mainly to collect a few more US states but do some caching and exploring along the way.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Came up to Rapid for the Sport Show - very busy city. Doing some caching on the way home through the hills and by Mt. Rushmore - had to celebrate President's Day tomorrow! What a beautiful day! Thanks for the hide and the history, we'll have to do the rest of these someday.
Team Doughboy heading home after a weekend of geocaching in the panhandle of Nebraska with Team G/K stopped to pick this one up as we headed North, this will be our last one for the day, darkness is falling upon us. TFTF, SL
We’re on the downhill side of our vacation and caching on the way home.
We should just call this “James Bridger” day as most of our finds were
hidden by him. We appreciate all his caches along with everyone else’s.
Signed most caches with WB & G. Saw that blank log and thought I had
a FTF but no such luck. Enjoyed anyway.

Replaced the log on this one and replaced it more as I had originally hidden. Thanks for looking. JB
caching with bobstaf...... continuing our trek from virginia to northern rockies....... our geocaching trail will show where our adventure takes us..... oh yeah, this isn't a geocaching vacation (yeah, right!!)....... guess we're officially 'heading home' now but it will take another week or so........headed south from rapid city, SD on through western nebraska to 'carhenge', then along the eastern edge of colorado to I-70 & into kansas....... tomorrow is mingo/GC30!!!!!.....felt like i was at the outer banks with all the sand burrs (guess they don't have a corner on the market)...TCTF
