On a three day tour in Nth Vic and Riverina for work, I took the opportunity to grab a few caches to stretch my legs or late in the day finds in an area I am familiar with pre caching.

After my last appointment and the sun going down I started heading to Deniliquin. I pulled up next to GZ for the quick find. The cache is still in place, I put replacement log in an empty eclipse container that was in the cache.

Thanks for the cache!!!

Ostara74 and I were heading home after a great long weekend with a bunch of awesome friends at the 2014 Deni Ute Muster. This was Ostara74's first ute muster - and bit of an Australian cultural shock experience for her! However, we all had a lot of fun and came away relatively unscathed. We decided to take the more scenic route home and find some caches along the way. We also discovered some fantastic local produce during the trip which was a wonderful bonus. This was cache find number 2 of 7 for the day. Thanks for the cache, Blacklegend.

Found together with Pathfinder24 on a sunny day.
On our way back home from Deni, after a great time at the Ute Muster, we made a few stops for sightseeing and caching. The cache was quickly located and we got the log signed before we were on our way again. The container was broken when we were here, but I am logging very late online, so this might not be the case anymore.
Thanks for the cache Blacklegend!

I was staying at Cobram / Tocumwal on the border to visit family and friends for a few days. I ended up caching through the Toolangi State forest and Invergordon on the way up, around Tocumwal, Cobram and Yarrawonga then Echuca through to Heathcote on the way home.
I love driving around the coutryside doing these rural hides, you get to see so much and most of the time these not a soul about when you arrive at the cache. After spending the night at Blacklegends house I headed out to clean up some caches in the area.
I almost disappeared in the grass while making my way to GZ, it was that high. Being ever cautious of snakes, I got onto the dead tree and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the hide Blacklegend and the tour of Tuppal.

#146 was this going to be a good day or not 17/25 for the day with 4DNF's so a reasonable day was had with 600 or so K's covered.

The GZ at the location was surrounded by long lush green grass today so the search for those moving sticks was a little hampered. Hope there are none at home today. I went to the location and began the extraction of the cache container from the hide. within a matter of moments the log signed at 1655 and returned to its resting place.

Thanks Blacklegend for the interesting drive by location and the lesson in canal history. Yes they have built a rather large canal system for the day it was built hence the need for the snowy system to turn the water around and store it.

Thanks again for a wonderful cache Blacklegend.

Quick find, dang muggles way out here in the mulga, streuth you wouldn't believe it. It's ok they turned the corner just up the road where my car was .. Good to hear the sound of water running water way out here in the sticks. (well if you look around, a lack of them!). It's amazing when you think of it, but a lot of the big channels here in the Riverina were made with manual labour and horses and carts. THTC
