Took a wee bit of looking especially as we tried to get it from the wrong side of the creek!. Cheers
A quick visit up to Auckland to see my mum. She said lets go caching so we did! At least for a wee while..
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Nice little stroll along the path to GZ. Kiwi came to the rescue for this one. His long arms were able to reach places scotties arms were not able to stretch to. There has obviously been a lot of water passing through here and the cache is damp but other wise in signable condition. TFTC
Out caching on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon, and came past here. Good hint, and easy find, cheers
Very nice cache! Inch of water in the container and the log is pretty wet. Was still able to sign but needs a bit of attention. Hint helped, TFTC! LLC, Ben and Zoey.
this one was getting to me! been several times to serach here. and needed eaxtra help. here.
I was hiking the trail, but still had enough time and energy to make the detour over here. The ground was still a bit moist, so I couldn't avoid getting a bit dirty. TFTC.
Found yesterday with PhilBirdBoys prior to a game of frisbee golf and then a ride into the city that it was far too hot for! TFTC
6 of us searching before a game of frisbee golf. C of CODEHill was triumphant! SL TFTC
Was in the area this morning to grab that new Gorby cache so came for a nice wee walk down here to grab this one as ell. Nice quick find but the TB is missing. TFTC
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 decided we should go for walk out West & had done a bit of research into the Opanuku Walkway ... while I researched a few caches along the way ... and so it was ... this cache was easily found, logbook completed & promptly replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,555 for us.
Scouted around the different places it could be, getting a bit muddy and covered in spiderwebs. No luck, so used my phone to look a bit further into each spot. Found it Grabbed lots of munzees around here too.
Retrieved a TB (penguin one not there). TFTC

Miss Three and I are picking up a Trademe purchase in Henderson, so I searched for nearby caches with at least one favourite point. This came up, and deservedly so - thanks! Left a TB.
Took a little while but finally found. No trolls around today think they were at the beach
I had tried for a couple of the Blues Clues but had no luck so rather than keep going and get my myself cranky so close to Christmas, decided on a change of tack and came over here to get this one. Nice quick find here right where I thought it would be be. Quite a good sized cache, realised I had left the TBs in the car which is a shame. Did have my swag so dropped a celtic horseman and a car, took nothing. Log damp as can be expected in this spot but no problems at all in signing. Thanks for placing this well maintained cache.
#490. My mission today was to go to Henderson Westfield and do all my Christmas shopping. I wasn't allowed to leave until I'd done at least half of it.
Turns out I had absolutely no inspiration, or I'm not in a shopping mood, or something. After walking around the mall once (and then once more because I couldn't remember where I parked my car) I walked out empty handed. I really struggle to choose gifts for people. Its such a chore. Wow I sound antisocial.
Okay I'm getting off topic. While waiting for my sister arriving for lunch, I thought I'd duck in and look for the closest geocache. This just happened to be it!
An almost instantaneous find. Found it in the second place I looked. Thanks for the cache!

using a couple of caches to decide where we walked today..this was one of only a few along the way.. luckly we had some long arms amongst use cause these trolls are clearly to long for bending down that far.. while we were filling out the log.. we noticed a heck of a lot of people running away from something? they all look stressed and sweaty.. didnt want to stop and chat either? nice and dry.
Had to wait out a few muggles, and overlooked it the first time, but found it in the end. Picked up key and left explorer TB
Out last weekend with Supernanny and shared a Two Factor trackable which has now been placed here.
Very good find today while geocaching around the area.
Thanks for the fun cache!

Thought I try to find this one after doing some Blues clues over the stream... This took me hook line and sinker! Jogged down to GZ (or so I thought) performed a thorough search only to come up empty handed. Feeling disappointed I started reading logs and spotted the hide! Thanks for the placement
Nice little walk on a Sunday afternoon. Arrived just as it started to rain. As I neared GZ, thunder started rumbling in the sky. Then while letting the GPS settle, a Muggle couple with small dogs came by. OK Now coast is clear. Ah ha, What's this I put my hand on? Found Melissa inside wanting to move about. I may be able to help. TFTC
This is a much quieter track than the one on the other side of the stream. Lovely bush walk. Found the cache after a short search. TFTC!

The troll got me and asked for a ransom. Luckily I had a TB with me and offered that to him. Actually, the TB also looks like a troll!

Thanks for the cache!

Quick find while on a wall with mum. A little damp, bit logbook still ok tftc, theGLS
I was searching for some magic mushrooms then I found it when some randoms came along asking if I was caching...I was like yea and found this neat game
Thankfully no scary troll, but it would have been best to not attempt the cache in the evening with a dieing phone as a torch. Pleasant area to explore. TFTC
Scary troll! I only just recently found this little track when I came back from Outward Bound. A great running spot in summer and winter alike.
I was picking up a few of the nearby Blue's Clues and made a small detour to get this one. Of course it was in the last obvious place I looked, but it still didn't take long to find. No Billy Goat Muggles around today to disturb me while I signed the log
Thought it was a bag filled with dog poo - but that was just trash - finally found it! b
No trolls here today, weather too nice for them. Quick find while in the area. Thanks for the TB and cache
An easy find, on a good track, with Pazzabella and our geodogs. Nice spot, Thanx
An easy find with Bertie Blowfish and our 4 geodogs. Left the fifth dog (travel bug 'woof') with the greedy troll tftc
What a neat walkway. Came through with my son on our bikes. Managed to recover the cache without waking the troll....
Approached bridge with caution and stealth so as not to wake the troll. Lovely little path through the undergrowth not too slippery despite the recent rain. Left some swag, signed the log. All in good condition, TFTC
Yay!! No trolls out today an easy find with the kids TFTC

As much as we wanted to reach this one, phone went flat, noooooooo, lol. Will try again
Found at last. Thanks to Cheer Girl for scareing the Troll away, you are a 'Pink Geocaching Princess'...cheers V.
Did this at night with my non-caching brother, who got quite a fright when I pointed out the jumping spider next to him, those things can jump, this one sprung nearly a meter of the bridge at GZ into the night.
I had found myself on the wrong side of the stream while walking the 'blues clues' trail today. After getting as far as I could go in one direction on that, I headed back the way I had come with a diversion off to find this cache. On the way I encountered Voshed who was also on the trail today. Nice to meet him and sorry I couldn't stay in AKL for the event the next day. Went on to the cache and although it wasn't in the first place I checked it didn't take too long to find it. TFTC, Biggles.
Luckily trolls were still out partying, thought might be a little late but easy quick find but forgot pen and pen in cache did not work so a quick trip back to the car, job done and trolls still not home. Left working pen in cache. Tftc
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Was not sure which side of the river I was supposed to be one, as you can see eventually we figured it out. Thanks again for the hide. Beautiful spot for a cache. Imagined the locals in the water hole!

No trolls found today. A lovely walk, washed shoes at Palomino drive entrance, to prevent spread of Kauri dieback disease! The path has been upgraded from my visit many years ago and its a little oasis. Thanks for bringing us here.
Day 5 of Woody and Papa's Mega Adventure. An excursion from the pathway on the other side of the stream - nice walk in. The trolls must have been away as no one was guarding the cache and a quick find was made. Salamat!
The last of a long trek along the pathways of local parks. A quick find was made. Big thanks to all local COs for the fun afternoon.

Bugger, this one was not spotted on a brief hunt with Kaisho53 and Ghostgums. Perhaps we were focused on the wrong spot, although the cache name kinda gives it away... Pleased to see another find after out visit, but not so pleased we missed it...
A bit tricky to find at first but found it after a closer look. Got a bit muddy but good fun. Daughter was a bit worried about theTroll but he must have been out during our visit.
Getting a tad late and raining. So quick find and no troll to upset before heading back to the car thanks. Will be back to do the track.
Found the second time around, this time with a GPS. Picked up the Weiner dog decoration trackable
I was here a while ago in wet weather but could not find it. Today the cache was lying half out from under the bridge. Replaced it in a more secure place.
Cheers for the cache.
Nice easy find just down the road from our house picked up a travel bug and will move it on ASAP
Ok, Found this cache the second time around with Aroha Iti as was delighted to find two travel bugs- we took one each, and I dropped off one: UNHGCM.Found the travel bug 5NDZYP and will send this bee buzzing on its journey shortly! Thanks for a great cache!!

I love this quiet bush track ! It never seems to be busy .....Think I've seen this cache before but didn't log it . So I went there again today while in area !
Visited with SusySam and had a nice walk along the stream. After a fair time looking in the wrong place, Grandpa finally found it.
