Well that was fun, looking around for the cache. What a beautiful group of grass trees, truly amazing. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
I am not much of a walker these days so hubby was out on his own while I stayed in the comfort of our caravan. SL TFTC
Surrounded by grass trees…. A real THICKet!!!
TFTC and it feels eerie in the middle of these beautiful ancient plants.

Spent alot of time in the warbies, so its great to find new spots like this, thanks again. Cache it great condition still
Out grabbing a few caches this morning after a school drop off and decided to make the most of a few hours free and hit the hills for a cache or two. l was eyeing off just a few caches out this side of the park and this was my second one attempted and after parking on the junction of Booth Road and Taylor Track l made my way down what l could find find of an over grown track and then bush bashed where l had to to the gz. Cool features and the certainly an interesting stand of them out this way, quickly located the log and added my name, hard to believe that l am the first for this year to have found it! Well worth a short walk in and a bit of a look around and as per usual found an easier track back out from the gz to the car. Thanks again Bingley3683 for the hide and for highlighting this area, cache and contents in top condition.
Get out of jail card is in play, we have taken two weeks off from the farm. Mini tour from Porepunkah to The Grampians and back catching some caches on the way. We are camped in he Warby National Park
Day 2 in the Warbies and after nearby failure, we walked further to find this fascinating maze and cache in good condition. Thanks Bingley for the hide and the walk in the forest

took me to the Wookie patch
Though I'm on the Cousin It side
Either way this spot is worth a fave dance [^]

#3016 Enjoying a mixture of walking and riding in the Warby's on a rare cool Summer's day. Still recovering from Harrowang's Goats End cache we were happy that the terrain was more user friendly along the track to Wookie's maze. Mrs BGF was the one to successfully negotiate the maze to come up with the find. A fantastic spot we really enjoyed with a great stand of grass trees. TFTC Bingley, contents are in mint condition.
Found 16/9/17 with locus cache and Cybergran V but logged late (26/11/17)
OK, I'm sorry. My bad.
But seriously, why has none else found this cache since my compatriots and I were here over 2months ago[?]
Get out there people. This place is amazing.
TFTC Bingly3686 and oh, "May the force be with you".[^]

What else do you do on a Saturday morning when you failed to find a new cache last night but tee up some willing victims .... errr, friends to go and find it with you!
dalerious, Cybergran V and I took off towards the Warbys and generally just spent a slow, meandering day exploring areas that were new to me
No DNFs [^] and 6 finds for the day made a happy locus especially as 1 of those finds was the FTF on last night's DNF [^]
We spoke to a lovely man who was planning a walking group outing and even helped him find a gate that he was looking for Seems he was too scared to drive where Harry went but seriously, I could have got the Corolla there!
Walking on from the cairn at the last cache we strode into this amazing spot! [^]
I've not seen anything like this before, that's for sure!
The cache was a quick and easy find but the reason for the cache had us pondering and remarking for ages afterwards [^]
Magic!

My favourite cache for the day. Loved the Wookies! And the abundance of wildflowers in the area. You couldn't have brought us here at a better time of year. Travelling in the company of dalerious, and locus cache who located the cache, whilst I was busy admiring and photographing the Wookies!
In a car more than capable of getting to GZ but in following the cache guideline i walked in down the road. On the way I past the old broken walkers only track sign. Anyway it was a great day for a walk and it was hardly very far nor very steep. Soon enough I was at GZ and spot on cords had me signing the log and giving this cache a love visit.
I was out here this arvo doing the friends circuit with Ben on the MTB. Driving out several things occurred to me at once. No cache found today. It's may the 4th, and there is a wookie cache right here!!! Talk about coincidence... So when you realise the the earth, moon, sun and planets have all aligned perfectly at exactly the right time, you cannot but act and do what must be done.
I flagged Ben down as he was about to drive by and told him the deal, he didn't need any coaxing. So we donned the headlamps, fired up the GPS and away we went.
At night you get a whole different experience here. Such an awesome place. A favourite just because...
Thanks for the adventure..
May the fourth be with you!!
Cheers Gordo

After an enjoyable MTB around the Warby's, Gordo had a flash of genius and realized that today was 'May the Fourth', and this nearby cache fitted the theme perfectly! Off we trundled in the dark until we came across an amazing sight. What a very cool place, and with only torchlight to guide us the area was highlighted sensationally!
Cache was found by Gordo as I continued to take pictures.

Great day for for walk with NenaNine and friend and kids to be out. Found by Leslie. Kids done swaps. TFTC
A excellent day to get lost in the Warbys....no we didnt really get lost....well maybe just for a spit second..lol. This is a great hide, introduced some muggle friends to the game today and this was their first find ....new geo kids were really excited and made a swap each from cache, signed log then let the kids show us how to get back to the car lol. We followed the well overgrown track to the grass trees. Wow what a special little hide away, looks like some sort of animals use these trees for shelter from the elements as there are lots of cleared area between them and little tunnels underneath. Clint found the cache quickly here all in good condition. Almost ran into another damn orb spider here, but again stopped just in time. TFTC and for bringing us to this special spot.
Another cache that seamingly been hidden in the bezzarest and most unlikelyest of places. Awesome gtass trees and Bec loves walking into Orb spider webs even though I keep telling her to grab a walking stick to swing around infront of you at all times.
Traveled back to the Warbys for the weekend for Mum's birthday and I decided to take the muggle parents for a walk and grab a few caches. Dad grew up in this area so it was interesting walking around with him. He has never seen the grass trees that big. It was quite impressive with the sun setting in the background.. TFTC.
On a beautiful day we decided to finally come down to the Warby's and grab some of the caches. We couldn't believe it had been so long since people had been to the caches. We parked the car and headed along the path and loosing it for some of the way due to overgrowth. Wow, these grass trees are amazing and plentiful. We saw a couple flowering and wondered if this is normal in Winter. We arrived at GZ and took some photos of the grass trees, there are so many. It is a pretty cool place.
Thanks Bingley for bringing us to this amazing place. Mr V loves grass trees so really enjoyed coming to this cache. Hopefully it wont be so long before the next cacher comes along.

Just an amazing place this is, all those giants standing around. Loved it, had to set the gps to get out and back to the car safely...TFTC
I'll disable this one temporarily as it may be in a cinnamon fungus quarantine area now......
Found by Mary & David in company with maccaholics at 1515. A veritable forest of big grass trees awaited us at GZ. Picked up "Po-Po-Po-Poo-Poo-Po-Possuu..." TB. Our thanks again to Bingley3683.
1st on a days raid in the Warbys with Big Ez.
We elected to park at the Wenhams parking / camping area and ride our bikes around the roads and tracks to the caches.
The ride to this one was easy enough until we had to find the narrow and almost completely overgrown track down to Gz. The last few hundred meters made for some quiet entertaining riding, almost had Big Ez in stitches as he watched me burl down the gentle slopes clambering awkwardly over some of the bigger sticks and small logs, but made it within 50 mt of Gz unscathed
Some fine specimens of Xanthorrhoea here, reminds me of another cache I had done called "Cousin It" but can't recall where.
Left TB, TFTC, Cheers.

Found on a day out with DazRascal throwing around the mountain bikes.Parked at Wenhams and made the trek to the final location.Interesting area and quite a maze! Cheers Bingley for the placement.
#2433 We decided today that the GeoPrincess needed a stroll so she was dressed in more appropriate attire, the hydration packs filled and we set off hoping that the forecast wet weather didn't eventuate. Parked at the co-ords provided (thank you) and set off on the obscure track to GZ. TGP had difficulty as the grass was head height & she's not one for bush bashing. We were quite amazed by GZ and the trees there - the cache name became very apparent. The March Flies were also out in force so it was a quick sign & replace before the flies carried us away (TGP probably would have preferred that). A great place, thanks Bingley3683 for bringing us here
Loved this place! We were camping nearby for the night and decided to start the day with a quick stretch of the legs to this cache. Those grass trees here are amazing! Never seen so many giants all in one spot!

On my way back from Sydney, I dropped in on Chewin' and we did a few Warby caches, this was the first. A nice open walk to GZ. Fascinating little forest in here, how did you find it. It was certainly unexpected.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Another spot that is a bit of an oasis in the bush. Well worth the walk.
Thanks again
Thanks again
The light was getting a bit low by the time we got to GZ, but could still see more than well enough to appreciate these trees. Some of them must be ancient! Three put of three TFTC.
Found after an awesome afteroon walk in the bush.Parked at parking coords and followed the arrow in,I think that there might have been some sort of goat track for a little while when we started out but didnt last long before we had really gone bush.Following the arrow along taking pictures along the way and looking at the ground for snakes. At about 50 meters from GZ we spotted a possible GZ area as we sighted the enormous Grass Tree's.We quickly found the cache after walking over, took heaps of pics and headed back a slightly different way.I love Grass Trees its always great to see such magnificant examples.Of which I have in a few parts of the Warbys close to this.

2nd FTF for the afternoon. Yay!! No other vehicles at obvious parking area. No doubt about the overgrown track to GZ. This track has not even been used by maintenance vehicles for quite some time by the look of it. It made a useful and easy way of getting to GZ and the Xanthorrhoea australis were there at the end in all their glory. Took: coin Left: cupcake ring and echidna pathtag.
