Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
8th find of the day with the geokids. Couldn't sign as logbook is a soggy mess.
Out and about today with Trenton8or and Mastamak.
I have a feeling everyone in this area loves Pandanus. We located the container and the lid is missing and the logbook is very hmmm Wet? Will need to be replaced, we normally have some spares but I seemed to have left them all in Brisbane!
This was the 1st find of 21 for the day. With can you believe NO DNF's, So it was a Fantastic Day!!

If I had read the logs in advance I would have brought a new container.
Found quickly and replaced in a way that hopefully doesn't collect water.

Container and log need replacing. We couldn't log the find. Found with MaPN and Blakey Snakey
Found with MaPN and Dardal. Cache container and log need replacing - could not log.
I found the cache without a lid attached.
All was ok inside the cache.
After signing,
I put the log in a ziplock bag and put some black gaffa tape over the top to protect it.
The container probably needs replacing.

The 6th cache in my run today.
The lid to the cache was missing, but all was good inside.
I signed the log, put the log in a ziplock bag and placed some black gaffa tape over the top to try and protect against water ingress.

When the GPS showed minimum distance between road and cache I looked out the window to see the creek. Hmm, maybe I missed a road, but moving along the road I quickly came across the right driveway and headed in. Parked nearby and after some rock hopping and crunching through the leaves the hunt was on. I was prepared for a detailed look but surprisingly spotted the container in one of the first places I glanced. Gotta have a win occasionally I guess. TFTC arobe 235
Oh look, another one of these familiar looking trees. We drove within a few metres of this one, disturbed a magpie family and soon had the cache in hand. Would be a great spot for a picnic. TFTC
Holidays nearly over, a quick trip to Bundaberg to see the in-laws ... and grab a couple caches of course. [9D] Headed out with Muggle-wife and her camera to catch some views as well.
Good spot for photos here. And just as well as I gave her plenty of time. Lots and lots and lots of time. I tried this tree. I tried that tree. And this other tree as well. I took so long that she even ran out of things to photograph and came looking for me. Made me look up at an odd angle and ... oh, there it is! No idea why I didn't see it sooner actually.
Thanks for placing this cache, arobe235. Found in good condition.

Another warm, golden day of caching in the vicinity of Bundaberg. A beautiful stretch of coastline and an assortment of creative hides made for a great day out.

Found the right Pandanus and soon had the cache in hand logged and returned Great area.TFTC.
Searched several pandanus trees before spotting the cleverly covered little beast. TFTC
Janine and the kids played on the grass, while i went to hunt for this one . Pandanus leaves aren't too kind to a 3 year old's feet . I did a lap around a couple of them, before i found the treasure back in the first one i looked at [:o)]. All ok and dry here ... took Harrogate 2006 TB, thanks arobe235

Found high and dry, log was damp and bag was no good so we replaced the log and ziplock bag and dropped off the north Yorkshire trackable... Xx
Had to wait out a family picnic that was just packing up as we arrived. Found cache in good condition after checking a couple of likely spots. TFTC arobe235
Lucky we have clip boards and look official, but a family finally left and into it. Gps pretty good today. TFTC
Oooh Pandanus hides. If it wasn't for the very good GPSr co-ords, this one could have taken me a while.
I did fossick about every tree of course before I finally spotted the cache out of the corner of my eye. The cache - and its new log sheet are in good condition. Happy to get this one. TFTC arobe235

Have had a bit of rain so it was a bit damp. Settled on where we thought the cache was located but took a bit of poking to discover it. Nice hide but needs maintenance. We didn't have a spare bag so we just logged it and put it back. Found at 5pm. TFTC
A 15 min search did not reveal the cache. Ended up with prickled fingers but no cache.
Nearly gave up when battery on the phone went flat and gps gave up. Found with help from another geo-cacher who was paddling by on his kayak.TFTC arobe235
After trouble with batteries etc we were given a pointer to the correct GZ. Found with seirra1. Thanks arobe235.
After a rather long search, geomum finally yelled out that she'd found it! No idea how we had missed this before. TFTC
What a great day for finding a cache, so we decided to catch up on some coastal ones, TFTC
Again a beautiful part of Bundaberg Coastline that we had not been aware of.Found cache after a bit of eeny-meeny-miny-mo with our GPS. Good hide arobe235 TFTC.SL Took eraser and left tiny Breast Cancer Charm
Quick find at 0745. Only one place to look in theseplants and GPSr was spot on. Clever hide all the same. Need dexterity with fingers to get container into the hand to write in the log. TFTC
A beautiful day to be at the coast, sunny and warm with a cooling sea-breeze. TFTC arobe235.
Found at 10:40 AM took a bit of looking , but we got it in the end. Haven't been along this part of the coast for a while.
