A quick find here today as I made my way past GZ.With a few days off I headed over to the northern Eyre peninsula for a 2 night stay in Whyalla, my main aim for the few days was the FITG and the FTF trail plus finding a few caches here and there along the way. Just under 300 caches found for the trip. Thanks for the cache

Holiday today to get 17 caches in 3 new LGA’s and also my second last date needed for my “date placed Calendar” challenge. I also shopped for supplies to hide 7 geocaches for you locals!
All caches were in good condition and any needing logs replaced- I did it! Some very interesting areas.

Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So then it was down to the Eyre Peninsula to see the sites down there Venus Bay, Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park were some highlights and I will come back again to have a better look around.
So after nearly 2 weeks spent on the Eyre Peninsula it was time to start heading back to Victoria but another lockdown in Vic has just occurred so now to change my plans again.
So Port Germaine was my next target for the night.
Another morning spent driving in the rain as I have not had the best weather on this trip what ever happened to summer.
The rain has stopped and as I have rounded the the bay and heading back down south the weather is beautiful on this side of town.
I have finally reached my destination for the night which is Port Germein so time to set up.
Another nice day is beaconing so I did the pier walk early which in my mind I had walked half way to Whyalla by the time I got to the end.
So now to tackle some caches around the town then widen my search area.
After travelling the scenic route it was time to head back up to Port Germein and pick up a few caches heading north.
Pulled into the rest area and these type of caches make it easy to pull of the Hwy and be out of harms way.
After a quick search I soon spotted the cache, added my name to the log and on to the next one.
Thanks Dazzatron TFTC.

A quick find in the last hour of the day - placement of an easy cache in a rest stop is much appreciated! First find in Mt Remarkable LGA too. Cache itself is starting to disintegrate a bit, but the logs are dry. Thanks for placing.
During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I finished our trip by driving from Kimba back to Adelaide via Nurioopta. We made a short stop at Port Augusta, and then travelled back south via Augusta Highway, and then left just after Lochiel through Balaklava, Owen, Hamley Bridge, Freeling, and Daveyston. We made it to Geostuff's 10th birthday celebration event, before finishing out our day completing the Adventure Labs in the area.
A quick find as we pulled into this rest location. The logbook was in good shape, but the container lid is starting to form cracks, so a maintenance visit may be required soon. Thanks Dazzatron for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Another fun find, container might need to be updated though it's a little bit broken!
A short Drive-In. As always when there are different similar hiding-options I found the box at the last spot...

Easy find cache is looking a little brittle though still functioning well for now might need replacing soon. TFTC
We are on our way home from Ceduna and I have been allowed to stop for a few caches. Unfortunately we were too busy chatting this morning and ended up leaving 2 hours behind schedule which cut into the caching time so only time for 6 caches on the way home.
This was a double whammy so had to stop here. Nice quick find right where the hint said it would be. TFTC
