Checked on this one today.Removed the old container and rubbish.Correct cache is still in place.Replaced log.Sharpened pencil. All good to go.
LG found it log filled with rubbish at cache canister has been smashed though... Needs replacing.
Saw this from about 500m away and assumed there would be a cache there. Yep.So how tall is the CO this time? Really short for one and really tall for this one! lol. SL at 16:20pm and TFTC.PS: dont look at your phone to log the cache while wondering. Getting stuck in Barnes wire isnt fun! lol.Thats the 33rd and final cache for the day, took about 3 1/2 hours all up, walking the whole time. That would be a record for team beavar at 33 signed logs. Happy to be here on a beautiful sunny day with the Roos and Planes. #3511
Out for a morning walk with Team_Roberts1 finishing up the last few of this series today which had us walking to the south eastern corner of this park plus picking up a couple of previous DNFs.This was a cache we had recorded a DNF for ages ago and the cache was missing then but finally on this side of the park today so could hunt again. Found the well hidden cache after a short search, phew, on DNF gone! Thanks heaps to Team Woodlands again
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 44/74, Tuesday. After working remotely today from my AirBnB apartment in Keilor Downs, I drove to the Woodlands Historic Park in early evening. I enjoyed this visit SO MUCH! Well, except that it was really hot for a Finn, 33 degrees. Other than that, this was an amazing evening. First of all, I saw so many kangaroos! Between 100 and 150, easily. They were all over. I love the kangaroos!! Secondly, this geocache trail is GREAT! I found all the caches (ah, no, there was one DNF - but all the others) quickly. The coordinates were very good. All the caches were in great condition. I also appreciated the hints A LOT! So, 26 finds and 1 DNF today. I will definitely come back here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).

Out and about today coming back from Epping to get the Jetski serviced. Thought i'd stop in here for the day to start my journey on the Woodlands caches. Managed to tick off a good 20 or so before receiving the phone call to come back and pick the ski up again. Thanks for the caches, All looked to be in good working order and condition, unless otherwise stated.
After a morning inside for a bowling tournament we wanted to make the most of the afternoon and get out walking. Came to Woodlands for the fourth time hoping to get the last ones from here.Walked around a few times before I saw it right there!
After having just spent a lovely week with my family, it was time for them to return home. I dropped them off at the airport for their early morning flight then made my way back out to this area for my second visit to find the Woodlands series of caches. I found eight caches during my previous visit here but today, with much more spare time available, I was determined to find many more. Unfortunately I was unable to find all the remaining caches during this visit, so I will definitely be returning for at least a third time in the near future. This was a very cool looking tree that I could see from a distance away as I neared GZ. As I began making my way closer to it, I noticed the cache from a distance. It wasn't quite where the hint suggested, though that's probably my own fault as my measly 5 '4 stature is a bit below average Anyway, the cache and its contents were in good condition and I soon began making my way back towards the car park, with just a few more caches in my mind to find during this visit today.TFTC
Having attended a recent event in Brisbane where a fellow cacher brought my attention to the geo tour in Ballarat and its up coming finish in February, i knew this was something I had to make an effort to get to.I also quickly realised that the attribute for the geo tour is the last one I need to achieve a personal challenge so the planning began.Today is day three of the mission and Ive completed the geo art and the tour so Im very happy. Todays mission is to get to 100 in this local LGA and then head towards Sunbury in the hope to pick up another 25 to also reach 100 in that LGA before my flight out tonight. Obviously this is for a local challenge cache at home. What else. Unfortunately I missed the events in Castlemaine. Time got the better of me.I jumped in The geowagon and ventured off the o soon find a nice parking spot. A short stroll later soon found me at ground zero. It wasnt long before cache was found and my name was printed for prosperity. I returned the cache to its hiding space and made my way back to the car. Ready to head to the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owners of Ballarat for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Short people need to stretch.
My kids and hubby are at two different camps with Scouts. I set myself a goal to complete this series so I could sign off a Challenge cache of 100 caches owned by one CO. Unfortunately, five are behind a locked, fenced off area for Eastern Barred Bandicoot. It was an amazing day with the weather being perfect. I started at 11am & finished at 5pm. Big day!!

I was in the area after dropping my partner and daughter off at the airport. This was my third visit and I'm slowly plugging my way through the entire series. I walked a little over 13km on this cool June day.
I found doing these today was much better compared to the summer months as there really isn't a lot of tree over. All these were found easily using the hints provided. Thanks for the series, I'll probably finish it on the next run -

A huge day out with a total of 69 caches found for the day (including #100 for me and #1000 for jaamc_3335). A big thank you to team TACKT for inviting me along for the adventure and Team Woodlands for placing and maintaining all the logs!
Out and about with Team T.A.C.K.T including Jaamc, Kpatt and tag along cazzajane07. We had a goal to tackle this series to help cover milestones for some of our members, 69 caches down, 20km of park explored and we had a blast, there was laughter, tears, the occasional swear as we took on the long hike and we all had a fantastic day out with the team :3
On a beautiful sunny winters day Team TACKT + C set off for on our mission, nice quick find, thanks for placing this series
A lovely day to wander around the woodlands with very pleasant company of moonbi. Far too many caches to find in a fay at a relaxed pace but found all but 2 of those that were attempted Thanks Team Woodlands for such a huge effort in placing so many caches for us to enjoy
Starting a new loop here. The road access was blocked off but nothing like a fence climb.
Au Fait and I had a lovely walk doing the caches in this loop. It was nice to walk in this area with the trees, stumps and posts all telling their own story. The shape of the trees, their bark was so interesting.
Thanks for the caches Team_Woodlands.

Loaded up the deadly treadly and headed off for another few hours at Woodlands.
Completed a small loop starting at the southern car park, and doing several eastern caches.
A couple of loops before I worked out exactly where this hide was.
At least I didn't end up all blackened!
Thanks, Robmc.

TwoEms had a good rest here after we found a doorway to another world that sits between the mysteries of space and time. Thank you for the cache.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Team_Woodlands for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

This one reminded me of a cache placed by friends of mine near my home town on the opposite side of the world! Thanks for the pleasant associations...
Great series. I thought I'd incorporate Geocaching with a trail run through this lovely park on a weekend visit to Melbourne. Thank you
Find No. 3949. Found with FUF009.
A day trip down to do the Woodland series of caches.
Took our bicycles and FUF009 came with us.
Arrived at the gate, unloaded our bikes, had a cuppa and off we went getting our first cache at 8.55am.
We worked our way through the series stopping several times to watch the coming and going of the jets at Tullamarine.
After a long warm day with several challenges, we arrived back at the car park for a rest and well earned cuppa.
We put the clues together, punched in the co-ords and went and claimed the final cache of the series.

Find # 11495
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Well this has been a long time coming, to do the Woodlands caches. Many a plan has fallen through due to health and pandemic and work issues. But finally all was on our side for a cracker geocaching day to end 2022.
With bikes loaded up we were off, left St.Arnaud just before 6am and had the first cache signed at 8.55am. Then it was just one by one, following the GPSr.
From flowing trails to bush bashing (with and without tall grass) and even a bit of water, we had a lot. All the while the sounds of planes going overhead, birds around and the odd 100 roos thumping the ground when we disturbed them.
We managed to make good time and accomplish all we set out to do. Despite the heat and a couple of hills I had to walk up.
We believe luck was on our side with the back paddock being opened, after seeing so many had commented on it being shut.
All in All, personally, it was great to finally get this series done with a couple others thrown in that are in the park.
Oh and by the way, we got back home just after 9.30pm. A big days outing.

We had arranged to meet Crustyvarmint (together his faithful sidekick, Pilot) and RedcbBlueBM to tackle some of this series of caches. Apologies for some generic logs. The weather was good and the caches we tackled were all found after short searches. It was nice to see some variety in the type of hides. We ended up finding 15 caches collecting clues when provided before heading back to our cars and lunch after which we went our separate ways. At times we had an audience of kangaroos but otherwise Woodlands was fairly quiet. In some spots it didn't pay to stand still due to the numbers of ants! Thanks to Team Woodlands for the cache.
A day out with Crustyvarmint and Lynjoh to get some caches here. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the company. Thanks CO for these caches.
Weather was lovely for caching today as Lynjoh, Redcb, Pilot and I spent some time walking in the reserve. We found all the caches we looked for, and returned to the cars suitably exhausted.
Thanks for the series, Team Woodlands.

Cache located and stamped. Thanks again for this awesome series and for maintaining them. Almost time to call it a day.
Such a long day today, flying from Wellington to Queenstown to Melbourne. I had bribed TBS to pick me up from the airport as I didn’t fancy staying in a hotel and getting up at 5am to catch a train back home.
As always, TBS made a slight detour so that I could grab a few caches and also grab a few for himself.
A nice evening stroll around the Woodlands was just what I needed after spending most of the day sitting on a plane.
So many kangaroos out here. It would be so nice to pick up my house, plonk it in the middle of the reserve, look out the window and watch the world go by.
In the end the mozzies got the better of us so we left for the long drive back.
TFTC I hope to be back to complete the series soon.

After picking jo2022nz up from the airport, we had plenty of daylight left so decided a walk thru the Woodlands was in order to grab a few caches and to get jo2022nz her 500th cache. I've already completed half this series but hadn't yet grabbed this one. It was a quick find and we headed off to grab some more before the mozzies got the better of us. We were delighted by the number of kangaroos we saw and how close we could get to them. Nice hide TFTC

Today I returned to Woodlands with biggles1024 in the hope of finally finishing this series after talking about doing it for many years, I was able to get all of the caches needed except for 9 caches that are in the back paddock that we have not found as it was locked up and we were locked out so another visit in the future will be needed.
The caches today where all found fairly quickly and most of them had a new log sheet in them which was stamped as we continued from one to the next.
**Thanks to Team_Woodlands for placing this cache.**

Found cache and log signed with dalerious on what was my first visit to this wonderful place.
It was a lovely ride around here, and it was lovely to see so many visitors to the area.
The grounds were beautiful and seeing the Thoroughbreds on our journey brought back memories of when I was in the industry as a strapper and owner.
The weather was wet at times, but that didn't hamper our plans.
Can't wait to get back and do it all again.
Speedy recovery Team_Woodlands .
The container of this one has been smashed. I have advised the CO. Re-hid as best I could.

SteMicMitSar and I have been wanting to do this series since it was published but couldn't make it happen for a variety of reasons. That changed today. All but two caches were found by us and the log stamped or signed. Lots of wildlife spotted amid the roar of jet engines from Melbourne Airport.
