Spending a few days in Glasgow and thought this one looked fun. Checked that there was a 'path across' and then went to recover the cache. Quickly saw the probable site but had to make a show of taking photographs of the statue.
The answers chosen are :
Chased by Cows - GCE0BFXQ. G/H walk no 5. 24/04/2014. Just a few days ago, crossing the adjacent field with our dog, a whole field full of cows chased us. Dived over the stile just in time. Scary!
Webcam - GCHWAP. Wolfing in the West End. 20/09/2011. Chose one I did here in Glasgow a few years back.
More than 1000 caches. Now on 1619. No 1000 was GC42DC8. MERCURY Jump Start. 12/07/2013.
Cache Underground. Chose a favourite GC17RVA. 100 Trees for 100 Years. 17/08/2013. SPOILER This is a massive container, completely buried in a wood, with a disguised trapdoor over it. In case this doesn't count as underground, I will put down GC196WD. St Robert. 18/10/2010. A hermit's cave beside the river Nidd.
3 Different Countries. England. GCW6T8. Park Life. 12/06/2006. My 1st! Romania. GCVN8A. Casino Constanta. 28/07/2011. Furthest South. USA. GCX8ZN. SF Cable Car. 26/09/2013. Furthest West.

8206 + 981 = 9187. Found with ACBC66 and AwesomeL during our European holiday…

In Glasgow for a few days and this was our seventh cache find. Looking at all the choices I qualify for this one and have actually done all possibilities ! The path for me is as follows :

Night Cache - Multi - Reflecting the way forward - GC2M780 - 21 Jan 14;
Underground Cache - Multi - Extreme Challenge Tunnel of Terror - GCKQ73 - 11 Jan 10;
Swim/Boat - Traditional - Mt. Springbank? - GC5765 - 04 Jan 09; and
Climb - Petrie's Nest - GC4EBGR - 01 Feb 14.

The cache itself was in an excellent location !! Loved it !

Thanks again AMAZO ! A Favourite Point from Me !

TNLN – TFTC !!

Cheers from Australia….

First the physical cache - confused as we stood looking for the hint item. A bit of thinking and some clever retrieving by the Saga Louts and we had the cache in hand. Great hide and a challenge to get it discreetly.--

Now for the challenge bit (the correct way -- left to right !)

Have converted a lot of muggles but going to go for 'chased by cows' (many times!) hope my log on 04.08.2013 for GC3VH8H will do..

Found a Webcam Cache - GCR3TR 'Banbury Cross WebCam' on 03/08/2013
More than 50 finds in one day - 65 found on 10/08/2013 (see profile)
Swam or used boat to find cache - GC3QXKB 'The Beach' on 28/07/2013
Found a 5/5 - GC3E7EN 'Sleeping with the fishes' on 14/09/2013

That bought back a few memories-- I can remember looking at this challenge a year or so ago and not having a chance of getting across the board - things have improved greatly and now it would be possible a few times - reckon I have about 15 on the list - time to work on 'had an encounter with the police' Wink

Nice cache location and a good challenge. TFTC.

Found a Webcam cache - Banbury Cross Webcam - GCR3TR - 8/4/2013
More than 50 finds in one day - ( Got 66 ) - 8/10/2013 ( See Profile )
Climb for a cache - Darley Dash 3 Crow's Nest - GC3Q5G9 - 16/6/2013
Found a 5/5 - Sleeping with the Fishes - GC3E7EN - 14/9/2013

Saw this one on a down load from Random Precision and was close by so I thought it would be rude not to !!.
Fav point for the Idea ...

What an innovative use of a hint item! This was the second of the day, but the first in my mission to find some puzzles in Glasgow, and was one of the few I knew I qualified for without checking. In fact, I think I qualify for every single hexagon on the grid, but here's the 5 you require:

Chased by cows - GC19R4X - Jemima. I was chased in the note written on 6/6/09, but not on the actual retrieval date of 26/6/09. I hope that counts!

Found a Web Cam Cache - GCJ76P - Cairn Gorm 1. Found 11/3/10. I thought my first had been Wolfing it in the West End, but apparently not.

More than 1000 Finds. I think this speaks for itself, but the first milestone was The Covenanters Grave - GC1YMAZ, found on 25/7/10. A must-find for those who haven't yet visited.

Swam or used boat to find cache - Caisteal na Nighinn Ruaide ( Lord of the Isles) - GC1FHV5 on 14/7/12. There are pictures…!

Found a 5/5 - Tooey's Adventure No.1 - GCYD9H on 31/7/12. This qualifies for the previous hexagon too, but I'm using it for this one.

So there we are. Lots of fun and games, and even in chronological order!

My first challenge cache (I think)! There's not many I automatically qualify for, having done less than 1000 caches so all feel properly challenging for me - I'm working on a few (slowly). Anyway it does appear I now qualify for this one - list below. Great wee hide right in the centre of town. Thanks for setting this challenge cache up.

1. Got stuck in mud
GC1W5NE Lay on here come the Gillies - 22.08.12.
So much mud it nearly came over the top of my wellies!

2. Found a cache without a GPS
GC42G5G Carpet Noetem - 04.03.14
Doing a series of caches and GPS packed up on the way to this one. Found it be remembered hint and approximate location on map.

3. Found a traditional, multi and puzzle cache all in 24 hours
17.12.13 - all Secret Scotland series
GC4TGMO Point blank (traditional)
GC4TE06 Lead shot (multi)
GC4TJ07 Fathom out (puzzle)

4. Found a cache underground
GC4YWV8 Bannockburn ROC post - 22.02.14
With the kind help of another cacher, I climbed down a ladder underground and found this cache.

5. Found caches in three counties
First one found in each country listed here
UK - GC1KT4P Butt well - 15.02.12 (my first ever cache)
Ireland - GC3M4R1 Blessington - 15.07.13
Portugal - GC2P1WC Jardim Botanico 09.08.13

20-Mar-14
Found on a wet day - muggles don't take as much notice in the rain! Signed and replaced - great hiding place. Will need to check I satisfy the challenge.

Edit: I don't (yet) qualify as I'm stuck on the fourth column having done none of them apart from the last one, which means doing 50 in a day to be able to get to it.

Here's the list so far (so less work for the final log) for Geo_Bro:

Converted a muggle (Cam&Finn)
Found a webcam (found three!) GCHWAP 05/09/2013
Attended a flashmob event GC46GQA 04/05/2013
Found a Trad/Mystery/Multi in 24hr (found 5 different types!) in Jersey on 08/09/2013

I will finish the rest another time!

GCYTTC The Rockies 13th July 2012 - Found without GPS

The dogs as usual managed to find the muddiest puddle ever and had a ball lucky there was cleaner water further up for them wash of again.
We made our way up the track finding what we beived to be the posts in questio but with out GPS they were usless to us anyway we kept going and then I saw what could have been the location of the cache but Colin took one look at the trees we had to get through to get there and said 'it won't be up there lets keep going'. So I said 'you keep going I'm going to check it out'. Me and Helpmaboab started off up the non track and guess who followed behind grumping all the way 'it won't be up here. it won't be up here, just dragging us through these trees for nothing. - There was an eliment of glee in my voice when first it was infact up there and secondly that I found it first.
