In town for Tuntable Falls Coop 40th birthday and staying at nearby Grannies Farm. We think we found the stump and the rock but no sign of cache. Maybe its gone done the hole. Poked around with no lucky. Any clues Mattyrx? Great creek used to swim here lots in early 80s.
Found at 1325 hrs.
On holidays from the Sunshine Coast.
Collected this one on a day out.

i passed by the "camp" that petan mentioned. Watch the barbed wire here! There were a few people by the water but they were engaged in "cool man" conversation and took no notice of myself and my dog. Thanks MattyRX my dog appreciated the swim.
Not so much a DNF but rather a Did Not Search. As we approached GZ we noted a semi-permanent camp round about where we estimated GZ to be. While the campsite appeared to be currently vacant there was a man "chilling" on the old bridge, he didn't seem be connected with camp but between the two we were not inclined to search.
Still in our guise of "a friend told us about this place so we decided to check it out" we had a nice visit and were fascinated with both the remains of the old bridge and its replacement, so thanks "friend" for bringing us here. Maybe next time.

Beaut spot, nice hide. Took trackable, left little monkey. Cache contents in good condition. TFTC.
It was quite tranquil here today, no time for a swim but we did sit and dangle our feet in the water while savouring the scene, thanks
Heard a platypus. ;p

Left the little lion toy Im looking after for Nina (4 yo), please look after it for Nina.

When we finished interview 2 participants in Lismore and we drove to Nimbim on the way back to Coolangatta, we stopped here and found it quick but be aware that the barbed wire fences was near the cache. TFTH.
Found while taking the long road home to Brisbane from Evans Head. There was another caching couple there while I was looking for the cache. Sorry to them if I seemed a bit stand-offish. I was cold, tired and hungry and had been daydreaming on my motorbike while riding along so was kind of caught up in my own headspace
The weather was quite warm but the water quality didn't look that good so a swim was ruled out.
Love looking around this very different town.

Didn't go for a swim but gr8 cache. Good parking, good terrain, and good hide. Tftc
I think all people come to Nimbin for one reason only. But we are from the Netherlands, where you can smoke the green stuff in every coffee shop and buy it in cafe's in stead of on the streets. I prefer it that way. Legalize it!
I dropped my geocoin here. Would like it to return to the Netherlands, and see something of the world first. Keep the Nimbin-Holland connection alive

The last time we were in Nimbin, many years ago, they had a oversized joint on the roof of a shop. Not swimming weather today so we had it to ourselves which was lucky as this cache had gone into hibernation and wasn't coming out without a fight. TFTC MattyRX, took geocoin and TB, left bracelet and rubber.
Greta spot. Nice and quiet today so made the search easy. The Bearz spotted the hide first and as she went in to extract the cache, a large spider jumped out. I think she jump as high as the trees and left me to extract the cache.
We signed the log, grabbed the TB's and left the spider to continue guarding the cache.
Thx MattyRX for another great location

Thank you for showing us this beautiful spot in Nimbin. This was actually my highlight in this place. A duck and a dog (TBs) are staying in this box now for a time. Thanks again!

Well described, including warnings, thanks.
The bag is torn and so not waterproof, especially with the creek running high after overnight rain. (Joke - it's not that high)
The village certainly lives up to its reputation.

Still wet from last cache I wasn't about to go for a swim today. The creek was really moving from lots of rain and was a nice dirty brown. Maybe another day. Tftc. Tnln sl.
Clan Gunnie and I were heading home from Ballina to Brissy when Mrs Gunnie suggested we take a detour via Nimbin... WHAT, I said, do you know how far that is to detour. Suffice to say, my reasoning was not being absorbed by the other half and we found ourselves in town...
After taking in the cultural atmosphere through the main street and indulging in some lunch, I decided that while here I would avail myself of the only cache. (I missed the other one nearby). I pulled the details up on the phone and set the SatNav to take us to GZ. Hey, only 500m away, that's handy... [^]
The clan stayed in the car as I made a dash for the cache. A couple of small kids were splashing around on the other side of the bridge but all was nice and quiet at GZ. I made a nice quick find and placed a sticker in the log before making an equally hasty retreat.
A nice spot down here and somewhere you would not find without a cache... Nice work...
Cheers MattyRX.

Found this neat cache on our road trip North to Noosa.
Gotta Love Nimbin, it is a top town in a top part of the world, every time i head north i just have to go through Nimbin.
A few muggles were in the water out of sight of what i was doing, found the cache and signed the log, went and said "Gooday" to the muggles in the water, and they pointed out a few Turtles resting on a log.
A top cache in a top spot
Many thanks MattyRX for the cache and breaking our journey.
TNLNSL..........Cheers

Found at 10am on Christmas Eve. Surprising the amount of people here today, all enjoying a beer as well. A bit early for me though.
Dropped off 2 geocoins I had brought all the way from Africa.
Thanks

Out for a drive today to find some geocaches and this was the first one today. Although there were muggles fishing in the creek which we saw them catch a fish, they didn't disturb us finding the cache. A great spot beside the creek.

Ooohh Bessie's Mob. You beat us! We saw this was still unfound this morning and hoped to get FTF on our way to Coffs Harbour from the Gold Coast this afternoon. We arrived here about 2;20pm and had the cache in hand about 2:25pm after a delightful walk from the car. What a very pretty spot. The water was running quite well in the creek. There was no one else about but we can imagine the place would have plenty of happy swimmers on a hot day on a weekend. After finding the cache and signing the log, 2nd TF after Bessie's Mob, we continued south from here on the way to Coffs. We passed through the Village of Goolmangar and then took a road that sounded familiar trying to find the house where my brother lived way back in his hippie days in the 70's. We didn't find it. What a magnificent drive we had through all this gloriously green countryside. Thanks for bringing us this way on our journey today MattyRX. It was a real pleasure. And thanks for the cache in such a beautiful location.
