Hi there radnoski,
Your cache "Are Mr & Mrs Osprey at home?" was last found on 7/07/2015, 35 days ago, and has had 3 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Tried 2 consecutive days to find this one at low tide with no luck. Could the owner of this cache possibly have a quick look and advise of whether it is still there or been washed away?. Many thanks and much appreciated
I sat and waited for half an hour for this muggle to move along but he isn't budging and he is right on top of GZ so I will have to return..
Just having a little afternoon flurry of caching after work and great to see a Rad(noski) cache on my spontaneous adventure. I was disappointed at first as I saw half a systema container sitting on the ground, but was quietly confident it was litter, it was a medium and this was a small. A SMALL...welcomed change after tackling some nearby micros. So this should be easy in theory then hey? Did plan on it but I was soon on my hands and knees in sand, it reminded me of the jelly boardwalk cache up near home. Container was soon in hand and formalities handled.
Thanks radnoski for placing this cache and bringing me to this spot. Awesome little mural nearby and hope to upload some photos soon.

No luck today. Only got the chance before quick look before a group of muggles appeared.
We arrived at GZ and noted the osprey nest but didn't see any osprey at home. A few muggles were fishing off the deck but seemed engrossed in what they were doing so I took the chance to duck underneath while they weren't looking. I was searching for only a moment when I was joined by two young boys. I'm not sure what they thought of a middle aged woman hiding amongst the columns but they were busy playing their own games. I searched and searched with no luck until finally one of the boys spoke to me.
"You find some really cool things under here," he said, obviously knowing I was looking for something. "I found this cool plastic box with a dinosaur in it!"
"That's exactly what I'm looking for," I replied, "Where did you find it?"
He pointed to the general direction and then added that he had taken it up to show his father.
I explained the concept of geocaching to him and showed how I signed the log and then had to put it back exactly as found. He seemed happy enough to put it back so hopefully he didn't decide to souvenir it once he realised its purpose. Perhaps he will take up geocaching himself!

Yes Mr and Mrs osprey were at home yesterday. Without any notice of muggles I moved under the bridge and found the nice cache-box
Nice box on a nice place in some warm water.
Thanks for trading this cache
Kind regards from Germany *Hammerbruder*

Yes, Mr and Mrs Osprey were both at home to-day. An unexpected pleasure for our trip to the Gold Coast! There was a guy fishing on the other side of the boardwalk but he was far too involved with that to notice me slip down onto the sand on the other side. Once underneath it didn't take too long to locate the cache which was all in pretty good nick. Thanks radnoski
Found today with granddaughter.she climbed under and emerged with very smelly click clack container full of water. Emptied it out but couldn't sign log. The osprey were at home so we're excited to see them. It's the 2 nod visit so glad to have found it. Greetings from New Zealand.TFTC
On my way to the spit again today to do some more of the trail and pulled in to do this one as I need it for an animal challenge.
As I appoached I could see a couple with a small boy and the father had a gps in his hand. Hmmm, wonder what he's doing [:p]
Nice to meet up with CrystalFairy and MyCroman. As he checked out the upper level I went below for a look around. A few minutes later he joined me and quickly spotted the cache.

on our way home from a lovely sea change at the Gold Coast. we rolled up our pants and greeted the nosy locals, muggles asking us what we had lost?? what we were doing ? we didn't take any notice, intent on finding the ospreys but no luck, they must have gone away for the weekend too. next time !
Mrs mint whipped of the flip flops, and found this one pretty quickly. Didn't stick around for too long, as one whiff of the contents of this cache was enough to scare Mr and Mrs osprey away.
No they aren't at this address anymore, so we left some mail. MrsFlag turned at the right moment and spotted the letterbox first so kudos. Amazed that it was able to stay in position thru storms etc we signed, smiled, and sneaked off. Tftc.
Mr and Mrs Osprey flew away due to all the construction opposite their nest. Good hidey spot for the cache. Tftc
Found this cache on a MTB weekend through the Gold Coast and Brisbane. This was one of the many caches we found while away
TFTC, cache is in good condition
Picked up 2 TB's and dropped 2

Find #3900!
I had to make this one count. But with limited transport i had to choose one of the more interesting urban his rather than a high terrain adventure.
I set out on a hired bike to find the last of the findable caches about Surfers Paradise before heading back to Sydney. This one was a must. It also had room to drop off the last of the trackables that i brought up with me.
Thanks for the cache.

I checked this one out on Friday evening.
The cache is still in place and waiting to be found.
Please note the cache is hidden at the posted co-ordinates.
The other waypoint was just a reference point in regards to the Osprey nest mentioned in the title of the cache. You do not need to visit this extra reference point to find the cache.
I have added a "visual hint" at the GZ to assist.
Cheers!!

Enjoying our evening walk with the tough mothers and co. We had come half way across so decided to keep going to this one. Unfortunately even though I got nearly waist deep in water we couldn't find the cache.
Tough Mothers day out with mnance101, bennyboppers and geokids. After some of us did the mudlark thing, decided to call time and feed the geokids. There was a bit of confusion with the coordinates. Plenty to do on the Gold Coast. We will return.
Second day at the coast, second day in the country.
Took my rented bike for a ride along south along the Broadwater then up the power trail to the spit, then back again.
Reading the earlier logs I was not too hopeful but it took me less than a minute to find the hide, low tide helped. Missed the ospreys.
Thanks for the hide

Mr Sandalwood Cottage spent ages underneath near the waters edge searching every pole but finally called it quits and came up empty handed. Hope it is still there and it was just a case of Cache Blindness as Mrs Sandalwood Cottage was not going under there to check out that he hadn't just missed it. Mr & Mrs Osprey were definitely at home today and were happily chatting away up there.
Visited today to check but it was super high tide and didn't feel like getting that wet. I suspect it has floated away in a super super high tide.
I will disable until I can replace.
Cheers!

The tide was a bit lower when I returned so I had the opportunity to splash around and have a pretty thorough search of the area.
If the cache is still there, it has moved a fair distance from the original hiding spot and I could not locate it.
Hopefully "Great_South_yEAST" (the last finder) will verify their geocaching account/email address soon and I can get some more info about where they found the cache this week.
I will replace the cache (or move it back to right spot) soon.
Cheers!!

Had a hunt as suggested, was at the stage of getting uncomfortably wet seeing as I wasn't swimming, checked logs and seen a few dnf's, maybe next time.
Got a bit yeasty - I mean sandy - getting this one, but yeast crew prevails again
No go today, felt I had been looking for to long, checked the logs and seen a couple of resent DNFs
Had a good look. Would be good to know how far under to go. Osprey was at home though.
Please check CO checked the pics so was standing at view of gz nothing above anything
down the coast for the day
well we did time this one very nicely
nice quick easy find and no wet feet
found an awesome coconut but FastEd wouldn't let me bring another home lol
i love all the barnacles

Found a parking spot nice and handy and set off. While waiting for muggles to pass, tried to zero in where we thought it would be.
With the coast (pardon the pun) now clear we made our move. Looking in the wrong spot at first till I turned around and spotted it.
Log signed, cache replaced.

Quite the little adventure I went on here. Negotiated new road markings and pedestrian pathways to get to GZ. Then of course I had shoes on and I was on my way to work. And to top it off it had just started raining. Haha. Cache didn't elude me for too long, thankfully. TFTC. SL.
Yes that was certainly an interesting retrieval. Feet nice and dry though due to fortunate timing. Nice hide.
Thanks radnoski for the cache.

Muggles coming and going, school holidays makes this spot quite busy... Had the geokids onto this one and located quickly without being busted TFTC
Quick find only problem was lots of muggles. Hard to replace without being seen but I did thank you
Saw it but couldn't reach it. Care takers cleaning the area. Will return to write my name at a better time. Only one of the two birds seen this morning.
Quick find after trying to be sneaky. TFTC

Tried for this one a while back, but too many muggles, this morning lots of workmen going about their business, she sneaked in while he kept watch, voila we had it. Beautiful here this morning. SL TNLN TFTC
Haha awesome hide! Very well done! Team sham! And osprey had a whole fresh whiting for dinner.. very cool!
Out on the bikes with teamdfl again, and this time we were doing a numbers run for me as I'm chasing a milestone in a couple of weeks We parked at the northern end of the Spit, rode south collecting GCPT caches all the way, then up the western side of the Broadwater, then down along the Nerang River, over Chevron Island and back up to the car. A round trip of about 26kms, and very easy riding.
As we arrived at GZ we wondered if we'd have some difficulty as there were workmen a-plenty on the bridge above us However, they weren't too interested in us. Happily the cache was a quick find, and we managed to stay out of their sight. TFTC, radnoski.

Out on the geocycles today with IolantheK. Not the best weather for it, but it had kept the muggles at bay. We had completed the GCPT and were now rounding up some stray smileys here and there.
Mr & Mrs did not appear to be home. Lots of activity near GZ, but all of it high above us. The dismal weather was keeping the muggles away nicely.
I knew what was required at this one and had come prepared. IolantheK was quicker and made the find. Much easier when there are no jelly fish around

Second visit back here, much easier at low tide but heaps of guys working on new bridge curious to know why a lady is looking in the Ospreys back yard, TFTC
Trickier than expected. Location didn't match our gps but that might be the gps's fault.
Great find and much easier at low tide!! - good adventure out for Lilly and Daddy
Loved this Hide! Favourite Point straight off the bat [^]
It was a brilliant evening for a few pre-dusk caches and this one was top of the pile. With my partner-in-crime watching on... it was up and over the wooden railing and on to the soft sand below. Then I was faced with the question: which pole? Let's just say that I waded into about 2½ feet of gloriously cool clear water to make the Find.
Nice!

I am in need of a few more animals for animal challenge requirements. An Osprey will do very nicely for O. . I found myself a few hundred metres from the chap today so literally ran over. I was in shorts & things so no worries for doing what had to be done. I often check out the nest as I drive past but I can't say that I've ever seen them at home...
Cheers Radnoski

It was low tide and so need to wade in which was lucky as it was a bit cooler today. If it is high tide the fence from the construction site is currently preventing easy access. I made my way under conscious of the men on the dredge at the same water level as me but as I was in all black I must have been hidden by the shadows under the pier. I am so glad to have found this. Thanks radnoski. Picked up the two TB's.
Found during the fozzmiester family's Queensland holiday.
Still very early so thankfullly not many muggles around. No problems with the cache and after a refresshing paddle, the formalities were complete.
A nice location but no sign of the ospreys this morning. TFTC

Let's go for a little walk..... on our way to the GCPT we had to stop here and enjoy the scene.
And taking off the shoes was definately worth.
Even if the osprey familiy wasn't home, this cache was the highlight of the day.

IN2: 1 FavPo...
Gruß aus Deutschland

timed my walk with geobaby to arrive at low tide. had a wander and still couldnt find it. going back with geodaddy - another set of eyes may help
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Just a few caches found today with the family. A couple of nice walks, got caught in a decent storm and hailed on, and had a walk on the spit tidying up a few GCPT caches.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After finding a nearby mystery cache, decided to go for a walk to this one. Got caught in a storm, decent hail stones too measuring about an inch at their biggest. Found it after taking refuge in a shelter for about 20 mins. Cheers, TFTC.

A nicely challenging find. Just got it with a dry crutch! Muggles above didn't help either. Fav for this!
Mr and Mrs Osprey weren't home at time of retireval unfortunately. We all had our pants up in the ice cold water.....the water lever reached that certain spot on Geodad that made him wince....all in order to retrieve the cache. TFTC Radnoski
Another stellar day on the Gold Coast....heading to freezing Melbourne in a few hours. Another 20 minutes at GZ and still no sign of a cache. Will wander further afield to try to gain my special souvenir for the 13th July. Thanks anyway.
A distinct lack of logs over the past few weeks on this one. I stopped this morning but workers were too close to GZ. Stopped early this evening/late this afternoon. My GZ was on the non water side of the bridge. Since the area is fenced off I crawled under the bridge from the side I could access. The tide seemed favourable but a 20 minute search failed to reveal the cache. The shoes then came off and a further 15 minutes searching still failed to reveal the cache. Luckily I'm staying close enough that I left my shoes off and headed "home" for a spa. I hate leaving closest to accommodation caches unfind so I'd really love to know where this one is hidden. Thanks for the hide radnoski.
I was itching to get this one as I could see where it was...but I couldn't go there due to the mass amount of muggles in the area at the time as well as workmen doing their thing for the light rail project. I will be back at another time...perhaps at dusk when it is a little quieter.
