Easy find. A clever hide. Thanks for helping in the recovery of those of us who were affected by the flood event by placing this memorial cache. TFTC prehnite. Smile

04-Mar-13
We are now officially archiving this cache as requested by Keith and Hazel as they are going to establish a Memorial Cache to commemorate the disastrous flooding of the North Bundaberg area and this is a perfect place to put it.
Thanks to all and sundry who have awarded us so many favourite points for 'Caught in the Act' and we will move it to another location in the not too distant future.

Checked this cache out today and yes it has gone for a swim somewhere during the floods so we are disabling it and will replace it as soon as the ground dries out at GZ.Hopefully it will not be too long before it is up and running again. prehnite

I got very muddy and wet with nothing to show for it. Area is still recovering from floods with the nearby fence having fallen over in several places. Disappointed to miss this one with so many Fav points but I'll return when conditions are a little better.

As this cache has been recently 'muggled' we are disabling it for awhile and hope to get it up and running again a bit later when the low-life who wrecked it have lost interest and moved on .....

The last day of our Bundy Run weekend with Stealth Seeker. On approach to GZ, I thought, "that looks odd". SS headed off to the right but I came back to the "odd". Voila - cache in hand. Very clever container. TFTC

Great hide! I was looking dead on at GZ but had no idea that was it. Instead I kept thinking the phrase what a very sick example of object it was. Not using those exact words of course. Half minute later I had a V8 moment!

11-Feb-12
An idle Saturday afternoon seemed like an excellent time to tackle this one. No one was at GZ so I started the hunt. I was convinced it was a certain object and I harped on it like no-one's business. But of course nothing was to be yielded. I ended up using a PAF option. Oh embarassment. If one had only used one's GPSr Sad

The cache was soon found and in excellent condition. Prehnite hides never seem to disappoint and this one was no exception. A great hide and easily earns a favourite point from me. TFTC Prehnite Smile

19-Jan-12
Had a bit of a parking fail on this one as the shopping centre didn't show up on my GPS maps, but we got there in the end. I legged it in and just as I ducked behind a bush a young female driver pulled up and I was in no mood to be yelled at for being creepy, so ducked down out of sight while she did her nails, her hair, knitted a dress, cooked dinner... She finally left and I was free to hunt. As I was walking along I spotted it easily. really sticks out to the geocacher's eye. Must say i really liked this hide, it was a great idea and well implemented. TFTC Smile

15-Jan-12

Difficult one... Will come back another day to look

03-Jan-12
Why is it the last search for thw day, when you are starting to run out of time always is the hardest. This one was too good for me today. A steady stream of passing muggles did not help. I'm sure that it was just me but I will keep an eye on it.

Catching up on a few caches today, Another great cache from prehnite

30-Oct-11
Well after catching the owners in the act of placing this cache we decided that it would not be fair for us to be ftf so we came for a drive today and put our name in the log. Another great hide took the biggest little Fuddley some time to locate it.

29-Oct-11
Turned up mid-morning and realised this could be muggle-central. So I grabbed my mobile phone and pretended to be on a call as I searched. Amazingly people ignored me as they went past.

Another tricky cache but I finally found it. Took geocoin. TFTC prehnite.

FTF at 2010 approximately. Arrived at GZ and was just starting my search and saw another car driving towards me. Sat on a stump behind a tree and I do not know who got the biggest fright me or us3scouts and sierra1.Another good hide and container.

We saw this one come up and thought we'd go out for a look. Found a car parked at GZ but saw no sign of the owner. As we were having technical problems with the GPS I thought I'd just jump out and start looking. Well didn't I get a fright when I found a friend in the bush! Congratulations to youngoldfella who was first to find.

28-Oct-11
Saw this one published and out we went with us3scouts. Who should we find trying to hide from us but youngoldfella. Missed out by that much. Love this cache. Another wonderful and well thought out cache prehnite. TFTC
