The kids had had enough by this stage after a beautiful drive along this road and some exploring finding other caches. I thought I'd park the car and have a very quick look by myself. GPS was bouncing all over the place and our youngest started to let us know vocally that she was finished caching for the day so I unfortunately had to call off the search. Next time!
Spent a bit of time here tonight with Skullracing, but was sadly unable to find the cache.
Luckily we got to enjoy the view of the city lights.

Well, after 20 consecutive finds today and achieving our 1,500th. we stumbled at the end when this one eluded us.
Oh well.
Love to know where it is.

A DNF for baby&Mrs gopher today. After a prolonged search of all the area and a phone call for a hint or 2 we had to give up in the end. Spent over 40 minutes looking no go.
Had a look for this on a night caching run with PapaGrouch but had no luck, will need to try again in daylight.
Out grabbing a few caches with visiting geo family. Took a bit of a search but eventually was found. Thanks Coruze.
Just grabbing a couple of caches with Moosetash and Happy feet while in Wodonga for a family catch up, a tricky hide but got there in the end, thanks Coruze for the cache.
A quick find today as it got chilly in the late afternoon. Thanks for the hide, and the views.
Indeed it is a nice view. I had to come back for a second attempt....I don't know why I couldn't find it first time! SL TFTC
Had a good look for this one but didn't come up with the goods. Maybe next time! Thanks Coruze.
Took a bit of searching but eventually found this micro. Nicely hidden in plain sight and great camo.
Glad I had a nice day to search for it, only annoying things around were the flys!

I nicked out, part way through cooking dinner, to find a nice park and grab, to fill todays slot on the August streak. I was destined to have a bad day! First of all the GPS signal decided to disappear on the iPhone half way up the hill. Once I'd got that back, I had no data service, so couldn't download the cache details! Eventually finding the GZ, I read the logs with some dismay, and hunted high and low without success. Boo!
Feeling silly. A rusty nail went through my boyfriends shoe while we were searching. no joke! Will come back again.

Weekend trip to Albury / Wodonga to ride the HCRT series from Canberra, last day in the area caching with Tankengine.
Umm perhaps the CLUE needs revising as I'm sure it didn't help took a bit of search for this one using the hint which had us searching in the wrong area. Tankengine spotted it somehow but glad he did ..

OK - another one that took us ages! This time, I would agrue because of the clue!
This was our second attempt at this one, and we were close to giving up again. While searching i decided to cross the road and have a look as i was heading over i heard some movement and looked up to see a dirty brown wiggly stick. After this we stayed on the correct side of the road, i kept an eye out while the other half located the cache. We are rapt to finally have this one.

Great view from up here. Found sneaky hide and then I found another one on the ground so I signed both logs and placed them together. TFTC
Spent today going up a few hills in Wodonga with Bettyboo3747.
The views were very nice today as the air was particularly clear.
The cache wasn't where it was supposed to be, but very nearby.
We put it back in its previous location.
Thanks, Robmc.

We were aware of the DNF's but looked for about 25 mins any way, maybe our eyes are painted on.
We spent an age looking here, with no luck. We got in the car to leave and had another thought, still no luck. I am disappointed to have this one between the smileys we have earned along this road over the weekend.
Heading home (Chiltern) after a shopping trip to Albury. Thought we would make the most of the beautiful weather and collect a few caches on the way home. Gorgeous road. Despite perfect conditions, the GPS had us very confused (in the middle of the road). After much looking in the usual places, GeoBaby was getting grumpy - so will try again another time.
Found this on the second go. These types of hides are funny. Your eye glazes right by them at first, but once you finally see them you can't help but see them. Lovely location. Thnx.
Very inventive hide!!!! We had been up here before but the cache had gone missing. Glad it's back up and running as it's a great cache. Thanks for another good one Coruze.
Noticed this one was back and running, so I had go and get it, it looked lonely between the other two smiles
But I was worried for awhile gpsr had me on the side of road, but after a five minute search cache was in hand. TFTC

Looks like it has gone so we will create a new hide and have it back up and running asap.
I hadn't looked at previous logs so didn't realise this one had a few DNFs. I had a look anyway, spending about 5 minutes, but having just had a DNF at the Lookout cache down the road NineMileKid's patience ran out pretty quickly here. Will keep an eye on this cache and come back and attempt with more eyes.
We will be doing a maintenance run over the next couple of weeks in the Alb Wod area so we check it out then. Last time we checked it it had just been moved ever so slightly but all the same it was more difficult to find.
2 large and 2 small cachers search for 10-15mins for this one but no luck.
Enjoyed the view and moved on. TFTH

Found by Mary & David at 1245. We'd planned to have a few more nights at Wangaratta after the Mega, and this seemed like a good route to take for some scenic caches. We weren't disappointed. Wonderful views on both sides. Very dramatic with some cloud cover closing in. Our thanks to Two_Drews and Coruze.
Found at 1240 with GeoJo and Maccamob... The views are great up here and proved quite steep towing the camper trailer also
a beginer and I'm already not liking the nano's and bloody micro's! or I'm just going blind with age!! couldn't see it at all and turned very cold and windy while there so will leave it for another time....
It was a nice hide found after some searching, while out caching during the Oz Mega 2012 event. Thanks for bringing us here, and for the cache. Love the spot.
Felt strange to look for a micro out here, but we found the container after a few minutes - great hide and fabulous views!
Found while attending the OZ MEGA ALBURY event. We were with The Eyles Crew. Quick find once I read the clue, nice one.
Cheers from Browngang

For me this was view #3 by doing them in reverse order. Still a great view from here too!
Quick find after dark in the company of lots of others. Log signed as Black Ops Crew. TFTC
Very sneaky, but fortunately I'd seen a similar one closer to home. Still, clever hide! TFTC.
This log marks the 1245th smiley to be recorded in the stats of WazzaAndWenches.
Easter means two things...Chocolate hangover and Oz Mega 2012.
Day Two of our Oz Mega adventure after missing the Friday and most of the Saturday due to work commitments...
Yet another dark view on a very late night. The lights in the distance gave us an idea of what might be seen during the daylight.
Thanks Coruze

We dropped tackle_head back at the Oz Mega campsite (tackle_head's temple actually) and had lunch back in the cabin. We went out in the afternoon to grab a few more smilies, this is one of the caches we found. Many thanks to Coruze for the cache.

Visiting from Mandurah, WA, for the Oz Mega, and having a wonderful time visiting all the sights around here that caching is taking me to. There has been so much happening since then that I am struggling to log them all, and already two weeks have passed, so am regretfully having to do a 'bulk' log.
Another wonderful view and clever hide, and another favourite point. Thanks for the cache Coruze.

Tricky but good. I remember this one clearly ( and it gets a bit challenging remembering them individually when you do a heap in one day and then log them so long after the find) OOOPs. Lucky i take pics and notes.
Anyway a good cache, great veiws at all 3 nice veiws. Thanx Coruze

This cache was one of the many grabbed on my 4 day trip to the OzMega Event. We arrived on Friday at midday and left at Midday on Monday and cached between when we where not socializing with other teams. This trip was also a shakedown for a new tent trailer we had purchased for camping. Besides the bike rack breaking on my trailer on the way up it all went well. PT539 also got a similar trailer to mine. He had trouble with his water tank.
This cache was grabbed while out gathering clues for another cache. TFTC

A well concealed cache that was found after locating the Oz Mega clue further up the hill, as well as the other two on the way down the hill.
Found with Chris while at Oz Megga. Sorry only just getting around to logging and have lost my notes, makes for logging a little difficult tftc
Found at 3.55pm GAFF1 in the company of Ian and Penny and Phetlern. A nice hide and a lovely view on a beautiful day like today..
Thanks Two_Drews & Coruze.

For us this was our View #3 and turned out to be a quick, easy find. Thanks Coruze for this series that got us to enjoy some local scenery.
Mrs. Flipper spent a nice day out with Skippy, SEMIK, Liz&Bruce while Mr. Flipper was off playing with Steam engines. We had a fun day out collecting caches whilst visiting the area for the OZ Mega.
Man were we in for some fun on this road adventure!

I had just ordered brunch with Dr Jim and Josie Family when I got a phone call from Covert about some FTF's at Tocumwal. I was able to cancel my breakfast order and was soon picked up for the drive out here. some 260km and about 5 hours later we were back in Albury, I was soo stuffed that I curled up in my hamock and passed out for a nanna nap.. an hour or 2 later I was up and ready to go again with the later stages of the night cache being our target. Heaps of fun was had.. This was one of about 30 cache finds today and about 100 for the long weekend, including 2 DT / P 81 combo's and a handful of puzzles Thanks for the hide.. Find #2333
We were up in Albury attending the Oz mega event and decided to take a break to try and locate a few caches. We headed off with Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan and later met up with Dicko who joined our convoy. The name of this series of three caches is very apt. Once again all of the members of the convoy jumped out of the car to search for this one, each taking a different tree, log or rock. Which in theory would have worked nicely but does depend on each member looking thoroughly...Joleen let down the team "searching" where the cache was hidden and not locating it. It took the keen eyes of Mrs Dicko to pick this one up.
Our thanks to Two_Drews and now Coruze for the cache and clever hide.

Found on the Mega Saturday. Found after lunch and parting company with Roostaman, whom I cached in the morning with. Did this series of three caches as the last three for the day. Great little series with some great camo on the first hide. Loved it. That hill driving up had the car revving a bit as well. TFTC.
5.40pm Again another quick little one on the way back to the event. very clever hide! Had us searching for a while before we found it!
