Dayboro trip. Day 6. Today I was caching between two counties one either side of Casino. West in the morning to Kyogle, but I did not visit the town and then East to Lismore, but just skirted the edge. The afternoon was spent in Casino doing the Where-i-gos and the Challenge caches. A great day and my last non-Sydney Counties with a find done.
There had been plenty of water here, and I was running out of spot to look. I did eventually put my hand in the right spot and found this tiny little sucker.

Lake Somerset Trip - Day 2
Heading north with Tardis0061 and picking up some select targets on our way. Of course also taking the opportunity to add some more LGA's to our list. This was a little side trip from Casino to make a find in Kyogle.

Away for the weekend with RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan, GrannySmith 1947 and TMZ59 caching in the Casino-Lismore area.
After spending the day 4wding in the forest grabbing a few Dirt Bag caches, we stopped by to see this old homestead and countryside. What an amazing location and house. Loved the fence decoration near the letterbox. Cache unloved as well.

Passing through and this one was missing so replaced a cache where I found it previously.
A weekend caching with RoddyC, Snickersallan, patrol14, Grannysmith1947, TMZ59 picking up some smiles in the area before and after the event to say farewell to seemyshell.
We were out today doing some 4WDing in the state forest. This was a detour on the way home to pickup these 2 unloved caches. A very interesting homestead.

180 year old property. That’s amazing. Love the bull letterbox on the property fence line. Thanks for the cache. Out with the Snickersalan, patrol14, Grannysmith1947, RoddyC, Hatzoff.
We came out to collect this cache after I had a DNF here a few years back. Lovely setting. Thanks Bessie's-Mob.
Arrived at our accommodation and thought we would come out and do this cache. The homestead of this property is impressive even from a distance. Cache did not take long to find. TFTC Bessie’s-Mob
What a lovely drive you have brought us on Bessie’s-Mob. We are so enjoying the countryside, the scenery, the pastures, the healthy looking stock and horses and this lovely homestead. After visiting the nearby earthcache, we stopped to find this cache. The cache itself was a quick find and my name was added to the logbook. I love the history of the homestead and am very pleased to see that it has been so well looked after. With recent rains, thee paddocks are nice and green. This made for some lovely photos. TFTC

Not sure if the cache is still here or if it was washed away in the most recent flood. But could not find it.
Slowly heading west from Lismore today. 
After a few finds in Casino, it is time to head further west.
I took the wrong road from the last cache so a few extra km's on dirt roads before arriving at GZ.
A quick find once at GZ.

Cruising the backroads today and I found meself at this scenic spot
I could see a grande olde house about half a click away from here
That must be Old Dyraaba !!
Meanwhile at GZ things did not look too promising for a cache find !!
There must have been three feet of water over the bridge last week [:o]
That left not many places to find a cache, if it was still there to be found
I poked around and after 10 minutes decided that it was a DNF !! [:o]
Another quick read of the cache notes before I finally left and .... hang on a secoond !!

I went back to check a bit closer.

Had a look the owner of the homestead came down too see what we were doing he was fine about it had a good look around but couldn't find
Second place H looked. Never know where to write on these logs when you have to turn them over.
A lovely drive in the country took us to this one, where we spotted a wedge tailed eagle at close range. A beautiful part of the country, with some amazing scenery. Dyraaba station looks like a beautiful home. TFTC 
Not the intended cache for today, but due to a lack of knowledge of the local roads I ended up driving right by this one.
Left home at 6:30am and parked by the cache around 7:30am. A nice easy find and I was soon back in Lismore around 8:30am.
A bit more map reading before attempting the other cache in this neck of the woods.

Headed in here for another FTF on our sunday afternoon drive and got FTF at 7:00pm. The country is looking good with all the rain lately, nice and green.
