Logs
We looked on both sides of the path, but no luck - cache may have been buried...
Checked both sides of path to no avail. Some work being done on the bank with trees replanted and waste bags to go
Second big sized cache that I couldn't find today. Low difficulty rating and no bush bashing needed? It's either washed away, or I might have tomatoes on my eyes...
3yr old loved the container! Log book papers all wet and flakey. Needs a new waterproofing system. Great cache, easy find thanks!
Tftc, co-ords had us in the bush but spotted it as we were leaving, as it says in the description no bush bashing required
A nice easy find, in an obvious hiding place. So many plastic bags in the cache I didn't know which one held the log.
Not the easiest path to descend and ascend after all the rain we've had today.

Out with liljap finding some caches before the G2 event. This was the first for the day. Nice to find a big one. Tftc
Easy find once you know where to look! Wear mossie repellent- they bite through clothing
Oooooooh this one was funky took us a while because of us being completely oblivious but it was real cool once we found it
After my gps settled down it was a quick find out In the open! Cool little reserve! TFTC (I didnt sign log because of covid but I took a photo of the log)
Really fun cache, would easily recommended. Even the six year old saw it first!! TYFTC
Finally had some time to explore the upgraded tracks through this bush, and had a look for the cache while I was there. Please ignore my previous note, the cache is not on the decommissioned track, so it is findable. The HUGE spider previously reported flew out of the container while I was emptying it on to the track and scurried away, so it may not find its way back. Great to find one of these large caches, and great that it wasn't removed when the track was upgraded. TFTC
Grabbed the TBs.
Grabbed the TBs.
Found quick, bit damp, maybe the lid needs to be secured. Black spider inside but left him alone.
Out with some potential new converts to geocaching. Nice hide thanks- contents are a bit damp as the clip appears to be broken.
Track is "closed" here but if are weekend Cacher say nothing and go and grab nice old style container. Re-hide bit more secure as found it quite in open area. All good at GZ. TFTC
Tracks in this park are currently closed for for upgrading. The track that this cache is on is due to be permanently closed. This may or may not affect getting to the cache. CO will need to check once other tracks reopen.
A plan was hatched for a few of the SEAC team, as well as some newbies, to spend Anzac day enjoying a walk around the Birkenhead domain and Eskdale Reserve collecting a few caches. After the dawn service and a hearty breakfast we met Keylev, Cragger, Laval, Hemaludy, UncleSam etc. at the Domain and started our adventure. As per usual we had lots of laughs, a few scrapes and bruises, a delicious picnic lunch, found many great caches and had a flat tyre! but a lot of fun was had! Thanks to the CO's for their hides and thanks for bringing us southerners to the north shore to enjoy this reserve.
A little side excursion to collect this one. TFTC!

A group of us decided to head over this way after morning Anzac services for a wander around. We had lots of fun, tears, falls, bruises, laughs...the list goes on...it was a great day.
Noticed on the map that we had missed this one so backtracked just slightly and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache.
Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew/Cachers) to save log space.

Out with my friends today, taking a walk through the park.
Had a great day exploring and getting some sunshine and fresh air.
All logs signed as Team SEAC.
Sorry for the generic "copy & paste" logs.
Thank you to the CO for placing these caches and supporting my addiction.

We were in the area today in quite a big group from South and East Auckland so we signed ourselves as SEAC or TEAM SEAC to save space on the log. Caching today with us were darthcacher1, purply, keylev, NZIceman, cragger, laval, NZTravellers, UncleSamNZ and a family of newbies. So good to find a good sized cache. A nice quick find here.
Out ticking off days in November. Still a bit out in the open. Tried to cover it a bit. Apparently a lot of these containers in the United States. Only found one like this here in New Zealand before. Nice cache. Thanks kayankiwi.
Quick find, not very discreet at the moment lol. Left it covered a bit better. Tftc .
Just want to say thanks to all have enjoyed this cache. I have been away for awhile with surgeries and rehab from the surgeries. Glad it's all OK. Thanks
What a neat hide. Found while in the area, track is nice and quiet today between the rain showers. TFTC
Easier to find during the day and no strange men (found with dstr1ng). First one down!
Took a while - think it may have moved since the GZ photo was taken - but we got there in the end!
I walked straight past this one as my gpsr was pointing me further down the path, but Mrs Jag50 was onto it and quickly had the cache in hand.
Merlot58 and my gps were sending us further down the path, but luckily Mrs Jag50 was using her geo-sense and found this in the first place she tried.
Decided that we still had a few unsolved caches in the area to be got. So teamed up today with Merlot58 and Aiden29 to find caches in the area. Most of us were following our GPS but Mrs Jag50 just followed her geo nose. Geo nose - 1 GPS - 0. Signed in as team JAM
Papa Drylie found this and then let the young ones think hey found it! Some treasure for the boys, and we replaced with new treasure! Nice cache!! Mama Drylie
Out for a Saturday afternoon caching mission with the young Gadgets getting a few more nearer home. Nice bush - always amazed by the number of neat little bush areas around here. Tftc.
#465 A few months ago I had a brief visit looking for this one with no success. Tried again today during lunch break and found straight away. It is always a lot easier if you look in the correct location first

Out for a day enjoying the sunshine and clearing a couple of caches. This one was a quick easy find. I also managed to find a puddle and the rest of my walk home was in a squidgy, muddy sandal, at least they are designed to be great in the mud. TFTC #457
Looked for ages for this one, then took a step back, almost gave up, but persisted and found it! Felt a little stupid once I realised how simple it was!
