Today we decided that the 20 day 2 state challenge was going to be a part of our caching strategy (reason for travelling and caching), staying in the area of the boarder it makes it a little easier to get those boarder crossing days.
Thanks Lostmonster & Co for placing this cache here (I a1elec), however it appears not to be in its orriginal location as I was here with the group that had the FTF so I walked up and looked at the spot and used a couple of different tools to check but alas it appeared to no longer be in place.
Grand Cache count = 713 total consisting of 678 Traditionals, 20 Multi, 6 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual and 3 Event.

Very sad, teaching my dance school mums how to cache while we danced in the entertainment centre. Sad as we DNF
Going to add our voices to the dnf can't find story. On a quiet evening we poked at all the possible spots and came up empty.
DNF - same as last person... Found a few spots it could be, however nothing found...
I had a good idea where it should be. But only got the eyes of a cockroach looking back at me.
I also think my magnet was the wrong shape. Thanks for the fun.
I also think my magnet was the wrong shape. Thanks for the fun.
In arms with A Swarm of Goblins we were bright and cheery ! We did we did try our hardest squinting and being leery ! But no oh no we could not find it ! Maybe it is gone ?
DNFToday think I know where it was but didn't have the required tool.
Couldnt find it, think we found where it was meant to be but not there. Might need maintenance
An entertaining find, nearly as entertaining as the Albury Gang Show that was on last week. I had an idea of where the cache was but with 300 scouts milling around waiting for the show I didn't have a chance to retrieve the nano. Fortunately, I had to return to Albury for work and armed with a magnetic gizmo was able to retrieve the cache. The log was pretty much pulp so I didn't sign the log but took a photo that I will upload when I get a chance. The square in front of the theatre was pretty much abandoned as you would expect on a cold wintery wet afternoon. Thanks for a cache in an entertaining spot that has sculpture worth looking at.
Well, that was an easy find...now to get to it! Took geomum (theredfox) glasses & a nail file to get to it. NEEDS NEW LOG. Typical...we bought pen but no log!
A successful afternoon caching with my housemate, this was the sixth of 10 finds. It was very quiet in the square today with only a few people out enjoying the autumn sun. We were able to locate the cache very quickly but had to search for something to remove it from it's hiding spot. Once we got it out I was unable to sign the log as it was rather moist and I would never had got it back in. TFTC
Quickly found at night! Log was full and quite wet so didn't write in it - TFTC!
TFTC. In Albury for a dental visit. Close by , found in the first place we looked . Log is full but we managed to make our mark in a small space. Not a fan of nano , we have found the odd few. Not too many people around.
Great gc. The small ones are more fun to find. We couldnt record as the paper is full, needs replacing. Tftc
Very clever little hide. It was a quiet day so we were able to hunt around a bit for this one. Beautiful area for a stop. And echo sentiments of recent comments with a new log required. Tftc.
We used the last spot in the logbook so a new one is needed please. Sorry we did not have a spare one!
Arrived at GZ at 8.30am to find this sneaky and well planned cache. Congratulations for finding such a good hiding place in such a busy place. Fortunately it was not so busy here this hour of the morning but the church bells were well and truly ringing++! Thanks for the well planned and implemented cache hide! We signed the last spot in the log book. Can you put a new one there please?
TFTC Lostmonster & Co and bringing us here to hear the church bells - an unexpected nice surprise!

Before heading north out of Albury the wife wanted to do a little shopping. At the end of which was a look for the closest cache - this was the target. It entertained us for a little while until the hide was located. An appropriate tool was at hand to retrieve the cache. Log was signed on a washed out earlier log as the log book is full before replacing as found. tftc
Located it the other day but couldn't retrieve. Came back today with geo tool and signed log. Love sneaky hide. TFTC.
Heading home from adventures up north. Stopped here today for lunch. Had a look around a few places before finally stumbling along the hide. No tool needed. We had little fingers! Thanks so much. We lived the snails!!
Very quiet place on a Saturday afternoon which enabled me to do some serious searching and a fair bit of searching was needed to locate this little beauty. Great hide Lostmonsters - thanks.
This was a most entertaining, though frustrating, little cache due to the passing muggle traffic after 5 pm. We found a tool to assist us quite close by to the cache. This nasty little cache deserves a favourite point. Tftc.
Nice park with pink snails. Came past yesterday and located the cache, came back today with tweezers to retrieve it. TFTC.
I went for an early morning walk to seek out this cache. Upon arrival to GZ there wasn't really many hiding options around. I wondered whether my GPS was out a little. Then suddenly I glimpsed something shining and silvery in a very sneaky hiding spot. Sure enough it was the cache. Luckily I managed to be able to retrieve the cache without any tools. Great hiding spot. Interesting purple snails as well. As I headed back to the Hotel another purple snail passed me by loaded on top of a truck. TFTC.
A very tricky hide! I almost missed it's hiding spot. But a lovely spot in the center of Albury. TFTC.
I was on a road trip to Canberra for a conference and to visit my niece. I had some lunch in Albury and decided I had just enough time to look for a cache while I was here before continuing down the Hume to my next stopover of Yass. This looked like an interesting hide and location so I thought I would give it a go, particularly as I like nanos when they are not too high. [^]
I parked in Swift St and wandered over to GZ. Not many muggles around so I was free to search. I searched a few likely spots before noticing the tiny nano tucked away in its hiding spot. Luckily I keep a few tools in my geobumbag so I was easily able to retrieve the cache. I signed the log at 2:50 pm and then carefully returned the cache to its hiding spot. TNLN. Before heading back to my car I took the accompanying photo of some very strange pink critters near GZ.
Thanks Lostmonster & Co for the fun and bold hide in what, at times, could be a very busy location.

Definitely a clever hide, here's a hint. You don't need a special tool, all you need is a hair bobby pin. Geogirlfriend is a genius for thinking of this one coords were right on. Crazy to think we have been to so many concerts and never noticed! Thanks for the hunt!

A great hide . We did leave to purchase correct tools then SL TFTC so much easier early morning with out Mugglers.
Nice little spot found with __cachemeifyoucan__ and cacher_in_the_ride After a nice little geogathering was not #geocut
Boiiii!! Found with tokillageobird and __cachemeifyoucan___ after a filling geo brekky with geo friends. Sixth cache of the geoweekend after a solid day yesterday with geofriend ducky0303.
Tools needed were on point

Found with geopals cacher_in_the_ride and tokillageobird after a geofeed with geocrew. Thanks to these two my geoginity is no more!
Had to be careful of the muggles. Geokids retrieved this tiny beauty with simple tool.
It was getting dark now, and we were hanging around Albury killing some time before going out to tea with fellow cachers Skullracing. Having done a couple of the other city caches, it was time to tackle this one. Not a soul around. Not surprising as it was pretty cold and miserable outside. Co-ords were good and our first hunch was right. Had an appropriate tool with us to help with the retrieval, and soon the log was signed and the cache back in place. TFTC Lostmonster&Co
Found this one yesterday but didn't have the right tool. So with the right tool in hand we returned today and retrieved it. Good hide.
Had just been to the library and thought I would take the family to find this one. I found the spot nice and easy and sent little Geokid4 in for this one. She said there was nothing there. Little geokid6 said I'll have a look and then said nothing there. I started to look elsewhere and then geowife went and looked where both girls had previously looked. I should have known, right where I thought. Found and logged TFTC.
Out with Nacspaceman to do our 15th Birthday cache. Snuck up on this one. With me watching for mugglers , the Spaceman went to work retrieving the little blighter from its hidey hole. SL and replaced carefully. TFTC Lostmonsters & Co
Out with GeoPop for a quick cache. This one was worth a look and proved to be a clever hiding space. GeoPop produced the required tool and the cache was soon in hand. Gets a favourite from me for the unique spot. SL TFTC Lostmonster & Co
Found on our walk after dinner, but no implements to retrieve. Great hide. Will come back and sign another time.
On a long weekend caching around albury and district.
Nice little hide
Thanks Lostmonstor & Co
Nice little hide
Thanks Lostmonstor & Co
First of four caches after dinner around the Albury CBD. The President finally spotted this one after a long search and almost walking away. TFTC
This was a vey quick find by geo son, but, it took longer to go back to car to get the tool, once tool obtained, quick extraction and log signed... tftc
Yes! A long weekend! Time to get out of the Can and go on a geomission around Aubury-Woodonga with Rapidlywild and FurfacesLL #1
After parking the car around the front, off we went to start the search. Muggles weren't a problem for us as we did this one at night and there were no shows on-so the place was deserted. We all searched a few spots for a few moments before RW spied the tricky little bugger, so then we were off to the car to grab a geotool. Once back, I went in for the "probe",to retrieve
Thanks for the hide, Lostmonster & Co.

Well the weekend was upon us and the planned Geomission with specimenX and FurfacesLL in Albury/Wodonga was here
We had been planning this weekend for sometime now and had been busy solving puzzles in preparation for the weekend. We spent the weekend doing the HCRT trail, some of the HSS series and some surrounding areas.
After arriving into Albury, we checked into the motel and dropped off unrequired equipment before heading back out for some caching. This town is a little spooky at night time I must say.
We parked up on the street behind the entertainment centre and wandered over towards GZ. We had to avoid a security patrol officer who had parked up on the opposite side of the park so torch use was limited. After looking around for a little bit, I found the cache however we had to retreat to the geomobile to collect a tool to assist in extraction. Log signed, cache returned and we were off again.
Thanks for the cache Lostmonster & Co

Headed to Albury this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild and specimenX.
Well our mission started with this one and the cache was spotted relatively quickly by Rapidlywild but we had to go back to the car and collect a much needed retrival tool.
Signed the log with our initials as best we could but the log is very full and needs replacing.

24/04/2014 13:36 Find #2639 . I only read the description for this as I was walking to GZ and hoped my usual EDC would cover the gizmo requirements
I needn't have worried my trusty compact SAK did the trick
Cheers Lostmonster & Co

tftc. Log is full. Found quickly and retrieved fast thanks to a handy comment regarding a chuppa chup stick. Tftc
Woohoo finally got a chance to have a proper look for this one & found it!! Shame I forgot to bring a pen. Quick trip to newsagent to purchase a pen & back to gz to sign the log. Very handy that a gadget happened to b close by for a quick retrieval. Tftc
Luckily I checked the place right away. Otherwise This could take some time. Found a tool near the cache. Tftc and greets from Finland!
Success! Went back with an appropriate implement and we soon had this sneaky little feller in our hands. Luckily the lawn was wet so no nearby muggles.... TFTC - an excellent hide and a fave point.
Know where it is, have seen it, but couldn't find the right implement, and left what I had at home.... Will be back....

Finally found it! Had us looking for the wrong thing early on but Hayley got it in the end. Lucky to have a chupa chupa stick nearby. With skooby71.
Very good, made use of a cable tie when the tweezers made it more embedded. TFTC.
Second micro like this that I have found! It can't be done without the special tool. Took a bit of time to get it out but all good! TFTC
Tricky hide. Even more tricky to retrieve the cache. Definitely recommend a pair of tweezers or something similar for this one. TFTC SL

My humble apologies for the late log...
Travelling from Coffs Harbour to Melbourne with a few night stopover in Wodonga along the way... After living away from home for 6 moths, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Managed to find this one with my geo-sister (Happy Feet)...
