Found it! We were visiting Eden for a couple of days, to see whales and have a rest. Today we toured the surrounding area by caches. This cache brought us to the beautiful little cove. While the others waited in the car, I headed to GZ and found the cache. Such a beautiful place. The cache is in good condition nicely tucked away in its hiding hole. TFTC SL
14 November 2024 2:30 pm Found with Gonefishen07 quick find while checking out the boat ramp. Thanks dghoffy for the cache.
Found with Hearse068 while in the area. We are haven a few days R and R in Eden. Just enjoying the area and reminiscing . TFTC
We called in here to check out the boats on the moorings. I hadn't read the description, so we attempted to find it from above. The last step looked like it would be my last, if I took it, so we approached from the beach, and Mrs Varmint spotted it hiding amongst the rocks. Thanks for the fun, dghoffy, it's a lovely location.
I searched in the dark for 15 minutes as I also searched for a suitable camping spot, but couldn't find the cache.
WOO HOO - Quarantine it has been my 3rd find on my Great Trip East Into NSW 2024. The views to the Bay are fabulous from this spot. AND - I was able to rectifiy a DNF from 12 months ago. This time, I was standing in the right spot at the right time to see the cache container in it's hidey spot. Thanks dghoffy for setting up and maintain this cache - a fabulous spot to visit. PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my caching adventures today.
#821Visiting the area today. Last cache for the day. Love a good rack scramble. Geodad made the find. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely location with beautiful shells on the beach! TFTC!
I've been a little time poor during our visit to Eden and surrounds so when I finally had a little spare time, I decided to head out and find a few of the highly favorited geocaches in the area. It took a few minutes for me to narrow down GZ here and I had to check the terrain rating before I climbed the cliff unnecessarily. What a lovely beach with such fascinating rocks to check out. Thanks for find #6150TNLN
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wt
Found while making our way northwards along the Coast Road. Staying at a quiet free campsite just north of Eden for last night, backtracked down the coast a little, then traveled to our next overnight stay at Dalmeney, sightseeing along the way. Thanks for the cache dghoffy!
Found it but forgot a pen. This is a beautiful part of the world. Tftc. I would say this is regular size though. More of a small container with very little room for swaps.
Coords are bang on. Everything is good at GZ. TFTC TFTHSL ???* dronnord ??* ?...\*""*.,,.*"",..,*"",..\?BTW ----- Ignore the rope hauler. It's a red herring.
Another magnificent beach. Great way to end the day after Geocaching all day. Were leaving the area tomorrow, have kept one to do as we leave to do the 2 states in a day challenge. Thanks for all the awesome hides in the area dghoffy we loved finding them all. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
On a camping road trip to East Gippsland and over the border into NSW, Eden, picking up a few caches along the way, this being one of them. Our last day in the area today and we ventured down here to check it out, have our picnic lunch and of course find the cache. The beach was deserted today, and the tide was out, so after a short walk along the secluded beach it was Mrs Pooky who made the easy find. TFTC. SL.
Had to wait a while to find this as there was a group of geology students on a field trip in the area. Once they had left it was a short scramble over the rocks to find the cache. Lovely location.
#12748 14:50Another great spot that I would not have visited without geocaching. There is so much interesting geology in this area.A family was sitting close to the cache, and dad was holding the biggest bag of chips I have ever seen. So obviously none of the muggles paid too much attention to those weird people walking between the rocks.OCW Brewmaker, Team Canary, aubeaty and ziggiauTFTC dghoffy!
A great day for caching and bring us here was also great to see all the geology. Cache was found quickly despite a muggle family nearby.
After a Little Rock hopping o found the small container in a location that didnt match the hint. Might need a check. What a lovely spot for lunch!!!TFTC.
Found soon after arriving at GZ but container is no longer a regular but a large micro!

Didn’t bring a pen but left this kangaroo keychain at geokids instance. Didn’t fit in container but tucked in next to it. TFTC
Ran out of daylight for this one. Tried but wasn't to be with light fading and rocks to be climbed.

After 1h searching, dnf the cache, only the geocaching paper for the rules. Nice spot btw
#3631 Found after a reasonable search while travelling from Orbost to Eden. Thankfully, I had the whole beach to myself in the last afternoon. TFTC and the beautiful location.
Mr 7 found this one. Mr P doesnt think he would have found it. Tricky but they got it.
Ocw the Bebes. A lovely beach and a nice sunny day. Doesn’t get much better than this. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa, heading to Eden today.
After a picnic lunch on the neighbouring bay we followed the pretty trail here.

Followed the GPS to GZ to find it was an extra 10m down a very steep for a very quick find. Rerouted for the safer option. TFTC!
**This Cache**
A great walk along the rocks / sand to this traditional between answering EC questions! The coordinates were spot on once again, and the hint narrowed it down, so this was a nice and quick find after a bit of a reach!

**All caches were signed *AB ! 11 / 9***
Adventure Boys! consisted of: Loci612, DARKSIDEDAN and sebass19 for this trip
---
**Day 2: VB Series**
Today our main focus was the VB series, plus a few extras along the coastline section of the loop! We started nice and early at 7am and had a jam packed day until we decided to leave the last 20 or so for the next morning! We didn't expect the series to take quite as long as it did, but with some tricky hides, tough bush bashing through thick regrowth and a couple of DNF's the time added up quickly! Thankfully we almost had the roads to ourselves, at one point we saw less than a handful of cars over several hours! We did see a big bikie group coming through the forest at one stage also!
Absolutely fantastic series, easily one of the best in NSW! I'm not a big fan of power trails but this was far from one! Just a cluster of awesome caches, on quiet roads with plenty of parking and lots of creativity and fun to be had!
Thanks dghoffy!

Found with the Adventure Boys (Dan, Seb, Loci) on a trip to the deep South. Signed dsd or darksidedan or Adventure Boys or AB to save space in the log. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Day 10 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives before continuing south for a loop around the Snowy Mountains.
After spending last night in a hotel in Thredbo it was then time to continue our trip with a drive up towards Charlottes Pass, then a stop in Jindabyne before heading towards Eden for the run home up along the coast. We arrived here late afternoon, with some time left for caching before checking in to our accommodation for the night.
After completing a couple of nearby earth caches and viewing the varied and fascinating different rock types in the area, I headed over to search for this cache as the last of the afternoon light began to fade. A quick scramble up to GZ and the cache was located safe and sound. TFTC

When you are on holidays, what do you do first thing in the morning? For us we get up with the dawn and my my wife goes off for a 15km run, I go geocaching. This is the first time we have both been to Eden and its a lovely little town. Shame we have to head home now.
Lots of fisherman putting there boats in the water hear and at 7.30 am, almost all car parks are full. But I found a spot and then got to enjoy the rocks and beach at low tide. Nice hide here that is in good condition.
Thanks for the cache dghoffy
