Took a little longer to find than I'd like to admit :p

Starting to doubt my finding skills for a minute but rifled through heavy cover and there it was! Dropped a car TB that we picked up near the Qld border. TFTC
With the Canberra Day Long Weekend upon us, the FFLL ladies and I usually take off towards SA or the likes for some caching, however with the unpredictability of COVID on the borders, we decided we would try for something a little closer to home. We decided that we would come down and have a crack at the VB trail around Eden and Merimbula. It was a great weekend away with both the FFLL ladies and it was nice to see the ocean and get some sun on our faces.
Time for day 3 out and about. We had driven past this one a few times in the past few days so we made the effort to stop this morning and get our names into the log book, no issues with the hide, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache placement gregandjudi and thanks for the wonderful weekend away FFLL ladies Always enjoyable and always something to look forward to.

The Canberra day long weekend falls on the first weekend in March so we usually take this time to head out of town. So this year, the caching troupe of us and Rapidlywild decided to head to the Merimbula to Eden coastline to collect a few smiley's.
Day 3 of the adventure and the weather was yet again lovely. Just right for caching although it did warm up along the way. Sorry for the generic logs.

Drove all the way down to the far south for the park run in Merimbula. Left straight after work Friday and arrived late last night. This morning up early to do some caches before running and then a massive day of caching after that, doing a big loop in the area and ending up in Merimbula again. Good caches everywhere, thanks to the CO for placing them.

Nice little weekend away with fitzy_1965 catching up with friends in Merimbula.
After a chilly night and rather windy morning in Nimmitabel, we packed up camp and headed off for a day of caching before arriving in Merimbula for the night.
One last cache before finishing up for the day. GPS didn't want to settle so I had actually been standing at GZ at one point before stopping it from afar.

Easy find but mind the very busy road near the airport, be careful where you pull over?

Nice easy find thank you. I have noticed on a few caches that people are replacing items with random pieces like bottle caps, straws and other bits of rubbish, it’s a shame. TNLN
Cool hide. Was fun watching the planes and helicopters take off and land nearby. Box is in good condition. Log signed and kids swapped some treasures.
My Last find for the day before returning to the caravan park to attend to some of the never ending list of minor repairs. An easy find on a busy road even on a Sunday. TFTC.
In the area for a few days taking advantage of a long weekend. Caching when I can. What an awesome place.TFTC
Stopped by to get this one after previously planning to get this one. Good hiding spot, muggles wouldn’t think to snoop. Large container so easy to spot if you know what to look for. TFTC!

Spending a few days in Pambula for a mid-week break. Today we decided to walk the Merimbula boardwalk, picking up a few caches on the way
We stopped for this one on the way. I searched the obvious location with no success and then noticed that the GPS was pointing at a huge nearby tree. I bush-bashed over there and had no success, so I bush-bashed back and spotted something not quite right on the way back. There was the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks gregandjudi for the cache.

Found it on our way home to Victoria after a lovely week long holiday in Merimbula. Grabbed two TB’s. Thanks for the cache.
The hardest p[art of this cache hunt was getting across the road as we headed north - it was certainly busy. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks gregandjudi for the cache.
