Find #1175
After two weekends without finds (shock!) we were back today, with a mission to find a special cache over Budgewoi way, that required traveling via Wyong. In the 'heatwave from hell' as reported by the media, we found 10 in total, with a couple of DNFs.
Scraped myself on the undergrowth a lot before finally finding this much closer to the footpath (like one step!) than I had ventured.... TFTC ALL7

Hiking through the bush, feeling like we were in the Sahara desert, finally found the beautiful cache. Yay
A fairly quick find after driving back from missing the earlier than expected parkrun!?!

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park for a few nights, and plan on collecting some local caches during our short school holiday visit.
Today we headed up to Budgewoi to walk the first half of the Hali Pathway and to collect some of the caches placed along the path, and maybe a few extras along the way. This was our 28th find of the day, and our 33rd find of the holiday.
After a busy day of walking & caching around Budgewoi we were now on our way back to camp, but decided to grab a few of the remaining caches on our way. Parked the geomobile in the carpark, just to the south of the cache, and then walked back up the road to GZ for a quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC ALL7.

Found it out in the open, put back where I assume it came from. No co ord numbers though? And log is full
Out and about again today for a little more cache finding.
Today there is a few showers about but nothing too daunting.
A quick find and now I have found 5.
I wonder if I can plot out the missing number and go from there[?]

After the morning rain and clouds cleared and the beautiful spring sunshine pushed it's way through, I had to come back to the beach for the afternoon. Of course, this cache was on the agenda first and foremost.. I was a bit concerned it would be right on the side of the road but it's nicely hidden with a good place to duck down and be unseen. Thanks for placing a cache right near the beach! Straight over the bank and you're graced with views for miles.
Went for an early AM visit to the beach, and picked this one up - with Deheaps. TFTC
Cool the first of the Budgewoi Series even if it is No2. Lol. There was no trackable as listed? TFTC

Night caching with TOMBI saw us trying to finish this series. We managed to find them all and work out the coordinates for the final. I searched one area whilst TOMBI searched a more friendly location and came up with the goods. TFTC
Found on a night caching run with Orrsome86 to find the entire Budgewoi series. Seeing were the final was, we left this one for last as we were heading down here anyway. We parked in the little car park and walked the hundred meters back to the cache. Orrsome dove right into the bushes, while my logic to me to a different spot and the cache. We both wondered why the cache was not closer to the car park, so we did not have to walk along the busy road. Now with all the numbers we put them together and headed to the final. We luckily found it pretty quickly, but the twist prevented us from signing. Hopefully the twist is fixed as it is a great addition to the final.
Thanks for the great night out and the caches we both found and did not find!

Opa-Shrek and I were almost done in our get-tour through Budgewoi and surrounds, and this was the final cache required for us to have the numbers needed for the final. Another reasonably simple one, although we did overshoot the mark a little which meant the first place I checked was not right, but I was 10m off, so when I got where I was supposed to be it was there as expected. Thanks for the cache here ALL7 - I scored myself 20c for my troubles here too ...now onto the final!
By the time we got to this cache, Mumma-Kel's and my geo-outing to Budgewoi today was amost done ... just this one and then we could do the final of ALL7's Budgewoi series. After overshoting the mark here, I kicked Kel out of the car to walk back up the road and start the search, while I did a u-turn and then another to bring the car to GZ ... and by the time I had done that, she was done, so all good! Thanks for the cache ALL7.
First day of our break up here. A quick drive by.

I found this cache while visiting Australia from New Zealand. Today I was on a day trip to Newcastle, from Sydney, to attend a show. A quick find here on my way North, then went for a wander to check out the beach - a nice spot. TFTC!
